Want to park the car for the weekend and walk to all the Downtown restaurants, breweries, drinkeries, shops, and wedding venues?

Then, Our 2nd St. Condo is for you!!

This building was originally part of the horse stable section in the early years of Wilmington. During the mid-1990's the building was renovated into 4 residential condos with a retail space on the first floor....currently Gallery Citrine Art Gallery.
During the great pandemic, we painstakingly renovated our unit to bring the original building character back while adding Mid-Century Modern furnishings.

********Please note there is NO ELEVATOR in this building. To reach the unit, you must walk up stairs.*********

You will love its eclectic vibe!! And remember....NEVER a Pet Fee or Pet Deposit charged! We want to travel with our doggie and want you to do the same!

Phenomenal experience

This condo was beautifully decorated, extremely well appointed, and in a prime location. My guests and I were exceptionally comfortable here. The owner was very kind, understanding and friendly. I look forward to staying here again in the future.

Well equipped apartment in an excellent location!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! This apartment is an easy walk to the riverfront, tons of restaraunts, and all of the great bars in the downtown area. The apartment was well equipped with everything you may need, including toiletries and plenty of necessary supplies. Parking is directly across the street. Very convenient!

I found my home in Wilmington

I had the pleasure of staying at this charming rental property in downtown Wilmington, and I can't say enough good things about it! From the moment I stepped in, I felt an overwhelming sense of comfort and coziness. The property is beautifully maintained, with every detail thoughtfully designed to make guests feel right at home. The building itself exudes charm, blending historic elegance with modern amenities, making it a true gem in the heart of the city. The location is absolutely unbeatable! Nestled in the middle of all the vibrant nightlife and fantastic restaurants, it's perfect for those who want to experience the best of what Wilmington has to offer. I especially loved having an amazing coffee shop and a lively bar right next door—perfect for starting the day or winding down in the evening. Just two blocks away is the breathtaking river walk, which offers an exquisite view of the city and the iconic battleship park. I am a wedding florist, and made the trip to Wilmington to produce a wedding for a high school friend of mine. This property was in the perfect location, literally around the corner from the venue. We enjoyed our stay very much. The property is exactly as pictured. The location couldn't have been more perfect, and the beds were so comfy. I am planning to message the owner to have them share where they purchased the sheets - they were so luxurious! I have zero complaints, we had a great stay.

Amazing Condo and Location

We greatly enjoyed our stay. This condo has an amazing location in the heart of downtown Wilmington just a few blocks from the Riverwalk. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I would stay there again and greatly recommend this condo to everyone. Great value and price and was convenient to be able to walk to a lot of bars, restaurants and shops in downtown. The best Vrbo I’ve stayed at. So happy we found this place

Weekend in Wilmington

We came to Wilmington to enjoy the downtown area and to do the OZ Experience. The condo was lovely and so much nicer to stay there with our friends where we could hang out in the living room when we weren’t out and about. The host was very responsive and helpful. Only downside was that there was no elevator but we got our exercise going up and down the steps.

Great Place to Stay

Located right in historic downtown, the apartment was in the perfect location for our family. Our 8 year old twins and goldendoodle puppy all had a great time. Hosts were super responsive leading up to and during the stay. Apartment was super clean, and had all the amenities (and much more) that we needed. Would definitely stay again if we return to Wilmington!

Amazing Property - Highly Recommend a Stay While In Wilmington, NC

I visited the property with my best friend of 52 years, and we had a wonderful stay. The property was immaculate, and it had all of the items you would need for a stay. The communication with the owner was the best I have received in a very long time. It was so good; it is one of the reasons I would come back to the property in the future. The location is right in the heart of the action, with that comes some noise but the location allows you to be close to food, beer (lol) and the sites. I would highly recommend this property. The check-in procedures are very easy to understand and renter friendly. Great stay!

Phenomenal Location, Great Host!

The apartment itself is beautifully designed and situated in a prime location in downtown Wilmington. Dena and Darren went out of their way multiple times to make sure I was comfortable during my month long stay. Plenty of cookware, washer and dryer, and entertainment options. I highly recommend!

Perfect Thanksgiving getaway

We had such a lovely time staying at Dena’s place. The location is PERFECT, walking distance to everything you need. There is a cute coffee shop and a cocktail bar right next door. This was a Friendsgiving getaway for us and our dog Kelsey, the condo is spacious, cute and has everything you need. Dena was very responsive and answered all of our questions, definitely would stay here again!

Great Condo!

We enjoyed our stay in Wilmington at the condo. Located on 2nd street in the middle of everything we planned to do. The condo was clean and well decorated. All of the appliances and furniture were nice, worked well and comfortable We did climb some stairs but it was totally worth it. Close to a great coffee shop and bar next door and 2 blocks from The river walk. Would definitely stay there again! Check out the e-bike tour around the corner also.

Loved our stay

This remodeled condo is in an old building in a great location in town with free parking! Everything was in walking distance. It was quite clean and had all the amenities we needed. When necessary, it was very easy to communicate with host and she was very responsive. Of note, it is on the 3rd floor without an elevator. There is also a wedding venue right below the condo so can get a little noisy at night. Neither of these would keep us from staying here again.

Perfect location for Wilmington

Our family was in town for the Ironman NC. Location is perfect and the place is exactly as described. Home is well stocked with anything you need in the kitchen. Location is great for walking downtown Wilmington!

Beautiful condo!

Great condo, perfect location! Even though our stay was during a tropical storm, we were able to enjoy the area. Communication with Dena was awesome! She even checked in on us to make sure we were enjoying our stay. I highly recommend this condo.

What an amazing place!

This condo is wonderful! The photos really don’t do it justice. The decor is so vibrant. It was super clean and spacious. The beds were so comfortable…way better than most hotels I’ve stayed at. You’ll find just about everything you’ll in the condo, and there’s a fully stocked corner market across the street if not. The Riverwalk and many restaurants, bars. and coffeehouses are all within walking distance. Dena is an a phenomenal host …very friendly and had great communication. I will definitely rebook to experience her “little slice of heaven” again.

A Fantastic Stay

This was an absolutely amazing property. It is located in the perfect spot and was just perfect. The condo was perfect and allowed us both to have our own room but a wonderful shared common space. Also, Dena was so helpful and was great about everytying.

We are a couple who LOVES Wilmington and restoring/renovating historic homes. This is one of the many reasons we fell in love with Wilmington many, many moons ago. We moved from the Durham/Raleigh area and are working hard to finish our "forever home" in Downtown Wilmington.

Outside of renovation and hospitality, we are foodies, love the beach, entertaining with friends and family, creating cocktails and taking our rescue doggie MaciGrey any and everywhere with us! This is why we NEVER charge pet fees or pet deposits for our rentals.

I love the history of this 2nd Street building....in the former horse stable area of 150 years ago.

You can walk to EVERYTHING downtown, but as it is 1 block away from the main hub of Market and Front Streets,. Therefore, you have peace and quiet when you return to the condo.
