A family friendly home with a great outdoor space and private pool. Located in the center of Wilmington, just a short distance from the beaches or historic downtown. Fur babies welcome, Lyla the cat lives here full time, and we ask to please open a provided fresh can of food for her daily.
As we are pet friendly, but PLEASE DO NOT allow dogs in the pool. The hair gets in the pump, and without the knowledge of how to clean it, it will ruin the pump and leave you without a pool.

Fantastic place ! This was our second year here and we will be back next year too . Fantastic host , very responsive to any questions. Great location , safe neighborhood. Home is well stocked and clean . Backyard pool is definitely a hit !

This home was as it was listed. Very cozy, had everything we needed in the home, and resident kitty was super cute. Would for sure recommend this property for a Wilmington visit.

Great escape for the weekend!

My family and I really enjoy this property. It has great entertainment with a pool and a pool table. We enjoy getting visits from Layla, the property cat, as well. We will continue to visit this property.

Incredible back yard!

Great property. Big, homey, private back yard with private pool. Pet friendly and all necessary amenities. Close to everything, but away from the crowds. Nice neighborhood.

Couldn’t possibly get any better

Loved my stay at this wonderful place. The owner was so incredibly accommodating and nice and it was a great place that was well appointed and conveniently located to anything you’d need. You can tell the owner took great care of the place and thought out her guests stay with everything you’d need. The beds were very comfortable, it was superbly clean, had games, books, apps on tv, and just the perfect set up for an incredibly stay. I’d come back again and again! Thank you for such an incredible stay!

Nice, clean house in pleasant neighborhood

We enjoyed our visit and had no issues at all with our stay. Enjoyed the pool and nearby park with swings and walking trail. Our host provided all the information we needed and the house even had items available we weren't expecting.

Adorable home!

The house is awesome! Pool table was a huge hit as was being able to sit out by the pool. Lyla the cat is an awesome addition and super friendly.

Family Vacation

The house was very comfortable and well maintained. We loved sharing our space with Lyla, the resident cat. We all throughly enjoyed the pool. If we are ever in that area again, I would not hesitate to stay there again. We all had a wonderful time.

Place to stay after house fire

The property was clean, neat, and had everything we needed. Shelley was very easy to communicate with the entire time. Lyla is the best part of this VRBO. Very sweet and entertaining.

The backyard was awesome for the pups. Pool was exceptional. Location was good Check out time in website is 10; book in house said 11.....understood there was a cat that would be in/out of the house when booked; didnt know be responsible to feed the cat daily....thats something guest should know up front

The property was as described. The decor was very up to date and everything was very clean. We enjoyed our stay and had contact with Ms. Shelley several times about several questions and she was very prompt to getting back with us. She was very helpful. Nice Getaway in Midtown Wilmington

Shelley was a great host. We had a problem with the internet and she immediately came to help. Since the internet provider couldn’t come out, she brought us a hotspot. It’s fairly close to UNCW. We worked while we were here. There’s a nice office area. We really enjoyed the pool. The master bed was very comfortable. Despite wanting to meet the resident kitty, she did not show up most likely due to our dog. Our dog enjoyed the dog door and fenced in yard. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. There was pretty much everything you needed for cooking. The Blackstone charcoal grill and griddle was nice. It’s a great place for a small family or two couples.
