We were here for our second stay in last few years we love this location that is convenient but away from downtown. We have a small dog and there is lots of surrounding forest area to walk her. We had 2 bedrooms downstairs and a bath shared. My daughter used the upstairs shower area. Quiet bldg. There was some construction going in with next door neighbor for a day but they finished by 5pm. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking. I wish there was a normal coffee pot but there is a Keurig. So bring pods if you are picky. Warm weather but good airflow if you open windows. We would return for sure.

Thank you! We're so glad you and your pup came back and enjoyed the forest walks and the quiet building. Good news for your next visit: a classic drip coffee maker is back in the kitchen alongside the Keurig. We'd love to host you again. — Christy & Jerry

Our family of 3 and 2 small dogs had a wonderful stay at this lovely property. The floor plan is ideal, with the two bedrooms and one full bathroom on the ground/entry floor, and the kitchen, living room, and another bathroom on the second floor. Relaxing on the Adirondack chairs on the balcony was ideal for enjoying the cool mountain air. We greatly appreciated the amenities, especially the washer/dryer and the availability of all kitchen supplies as well as laundry detergent pods and coffee pods for the Keurig. The carpeted stairs were beneficial for our pups, especially our senior dog. It's worth mentioning that in the summer, it can get a bit warm. Luckily, our week-long stay only involved a few warm-ish days. The fans in each bedroom were definitely helpful and during the day, we moved one of the larger bedroom fans upstairs.

We rented this property for three weeks. We found it to be close to all the activities and lakes. The parking was as stated…first come first serve. In practice, we found it a little off putting, to not be able to park close to or in front of the unit. Lesson learned. There were some cleanliness issues that were missed by the cleaner and management inspection, involving disgusting and gross male body fluids and the disposal there of. The unit was cleaned again, no expense to us, other than the time we spent away from the unit. Any other issues that arose were dealt with by the management company. My one (two) unhappiness with this rental was the lack of cleaning materials. No surface cleaner, toilet cleaner, broom or vacuum. There was a small dust pan and hand brush under the sink. I asked a couple of times about this and was told nothing was available. I’m sure this works for a short stay, but for the three weeks it would have been nice to have cleaning options. Also…toilet paper. The unit has two bathroom and each bathroom had 2 rolls. When I asked about this, I was informed this was what was supplied, I’d have to buy any more if needed. The until advertises sleeps up to 6. So in my thoughts a total of 4 rolls for a three week stay for up to 6 people was insufficient. The unit was nice to stay in. Made for a good base for our adventures.

Thank you, Heather, for staying with us for three weeks and for the thoughtful feedback. We're truly sorry about the cleaning miss at the start of your stay. That should never happen, and we're glad it was re-cleaned quickly. Since your stay, we've taken over managing the booking ourselves, hired a new local manager who will inspect the unit prior to every check-in, and are bringing on a new cleaning team. For all stays, the downstairs closet is now open with a broom, vacuum, wipes, and toilet brush. We're glad Cozy Bear on Tyrol made a good base for your adventures. Parking out front is first come, first served by HOA rule, with overflow in the Lake Mary Road lot just up the path. — Christy & Jerry

Fantastic little getaway

The location is perfect for getting to town or getting to the slopes. We had a ton of snow but the road maintenance on the street was great at keeping us able to move around. Perfect little cozy place for a ski trip or just to get away

Very nice updated condo in great area

We came in October and used Mammoth as a home base to explore the fall leaves. It was a beautiful time of year and not crowded in town. This condo was updated, and had all the things we needed. Definitely will be back! We usually come every summer to go fishing. This location is great for taking walks with the dog and not so busy but close enough to downtown if needed for shopping

Cozy Mountain Cabin

This cabin was perfect for our family of 4. There are two bedrooms downstairs of decent size and one full bath downstairs. Then on the second floor is another full bathroom which was kind of nice to have it separate. The rest of the upstairs in one large great room with a nice kitchen and balcony as well... very spacious feeling upstairs. The location is 2 stops on the free trolley to Eagle for easy skiing access or 2 stops to the Village. We really appreciated the unit being pet friendly and everything was clean and well stocked. We would definitely stay again. Thank you!

Lovely & convenient!

This property was great and the owners were responsive. My only advice would be that if you travel in the winter be prepared with your vehicle, even with chains on it was very hard to get up the hill because of the ice. The parking was sooo convenient & the condo was adorable!
