Kamaole Beach Royale #212 is a beautiful spacious unit with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. This unit is air conditioned in the living room and has ceiling fans in the three bedrooms. The unit provides complimentary wifi. There is a fully equipped kitchen for all of your cooking needs and a washer and dryer in the unit. Please note #212 does not have a garbage disposal at the kitchen sink. The primary bedroom has a king-sized bed and an en-suite bathroom, the second bedroom features a queen bed and the third bedroom provides two twin beds. The two bathrooms are both equipped with showers so you can rinse off after a trip to the ocean. The living room features a large cable television and a blu-ray player as well as a phone for local calls. The spacious lanai gives you lots of room to enjoy the view as you are cooled by the soothing tradewinds. Kamaole Beach Royale #212 also provides beach chairs, beach towels, sand toys, and a cooler for your outdoor adventures. This unit is in the heart of South Kihei and perfect for those seeking the convenience of being right in the center of the action! Sleeps up to 6 guests.
Same day bookings and those arriving within 48 hours of making the reservation require a phone call to Rentals Maui for confirmation.
Bookings made within 7 days of arrival will require an ID check and screening prior to confirmation.

Great unit - would definitely return

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our group of 6 (4 adults, 2 children) had a wonderful time at the Kamaole Beach Royale unit 212! The location was fantastic with a short walk to the beach and a good variety of small businesses to peruse nearby. The unit was clean and had a good variety of cooking supplies on hand. For the most part, the one ac unit does a good job along with the overhead fans. There were fans in one of the closets to better distribute the air. As long as you don't mind sleeping with your door open, then we found the temperature to be fine. Consistent with other reviewers, we found that the master bedroom did lack privacy and would greatly benefit from curtains being installed. I can't say it bothered us a great deal, and we felt we could make it work without. That would have been one of the few improvements that could be implemented to make it a better stay.One thing we found surprising, was that The apartment is within a small apartment building complex rather than condos. The exterior is nothing impressive, but you will find such nice units exist within! The view even from the second floor was very nice and we could occasionally see whales breaching in the distance! The 7th floor shared barbecue and dining space is outstanding. There are people who are up there every night and they are simply delightful! People share the two barbecue grills quite well and we found it to be a huge plus in having a more personalized, and slightly more affordable dinner dining experience.Unit 212 is an end unit and benefits from the side staircase since you are closest to the beach and the outdoor hoses to rinse off the beach sand. The nearby beach is great and has some nice little reefs for snorkeling. We also took some day trips to other nearby beaches in Wailea which was very convenient.

Great location - No A/C in bedrooms

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location only 1/2 block to the beach. Unit was well appointed and clean. The roof top BBQ deck was an added bonus. The only issue was the lack of air conditioning in the back bedrooms ( A/C in living and dining area only) The master bedroom was very hot as well were it not for the ability to keep the sliding patio door open at night. There are no curtains or blinds in the master for privacy so it was difficult to have the rest of our group use the lanai. It was also very noisy being an end unit next to the street/strip mall and we could hear their deliveries and garbage trucks in the early morning hours. This was our 14th trip to Maui and we will be back to Kihei and KBR but not in this unit for the above reasons.

Loved it but..

We love Maui and have always enjoyed the location and views from Kamaole Beach Royale. This was our first time staying in this unit and it checked all the boxes besides privacy for the master bedroom. There are no blinds or curtains for the large window facing the lanai which means you have street lights gleaming into the room all night (even with the lanai blinds pulled down) and it’s also awkward that when others are on the lanai they can see into the bedroom. We have always assumed a bedroom would have privacy and didn’t notice in any reviews that others mentioned this but having a dark room at night and decent privacy is a priority for us so can’t give this unit 5 stars.We loved everything else and had a wonderful time.

Great little spot close to the beach

Beautiful property so close to the beach. Nice extras like beach chairs and umbrella. Elevator with carts to make getting items up to the room super easy. Walking distance to so many shops and restaurants. Centrally located to explore the island. The two interior bedrooms were a bit warm and that would be the ONLY gripe. Everything else was perfect!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Place was great and the location cannot be beat! The only issues we ran into was the unit could have been cleaned more. There was previous coffee or some type of drink splashed on the walls and some serious dust behind the nightstands. Having AC was amazing, however the unit is very very loud. Some of the items in the kitchen are not good to use, the whisk is rusty and there’s a bowl with some type of burns marks on it. Some newer kitchen stuff would be amazing!

First Hawaii Vacation

The location was perfect with easy access to Kamaole Beach 1 right across the street. We enjoyed waking up to an ocean view every morning. The property was clean & they provided everything we needed to make us feel at home. The Kamaole Beach Royale is also next to the Dolphin Plaza where you can find restaurants, guft shops, a nail salon & many more shops. I would definitely stay at Kamaole Beach Royale #212 again.

Family stay for a wedding

All within very short walking distance. Kitchen had everything we needed. Especially enjoyed rooftop sunsets when not on the beach.

We had other family members who were able to rent in the same property and it was just wonderful. We utilized the 7th floor community space to BBW dinner two nights and with the sunset. We hope to return!

Great location and space

The property overall was great...good space, well stocked kitchen, etc. Like some other guests I had missed that their was only one AC unit for the condo. The two smaller guest rooms definitely were hard to cool down, but we picked up some super strong fans from Lowes and they went a long way toward pushing to colder air into the rooms. The on site pool was great and it was super easy access to a great beach, shopping, restaurants, etc.

Great find

We enjoyed our time at the condo. It was close to beaches and amenities. Easy to get to places in the area. The place was clean and tidy when we checked in. The beds were comfy and clean. We really enjoyed that there were beach chairs and umbrella for us to use and take with us to enjoy the beaches just across the street.

Perfect location and great property for 3 couples

We had a lovely 7 night stay. Condo was clean and had a great view and quick beach access. There was some noisy construction during our stay but it wasn’t too disruptive. After noticing some missing towels and beach chairs, the property manager was quick to bring us new chairs and towels. Would stay there again during our next Maui visit.

Great experience

This property was clean and close to so many amenities. Our family loved our visit. The condo could definitely be in upgrade of basic kitchen items including plates and more of them and also upgrading cooking tools And more plastic storage containers for food. We were warned of tiny bugs, and keeping our dry foods in plastic bags or containers which we did, but the tiny bugs were everywhere even in drawers esp in the kitchen and on walls. It was definitely liveable but would rather not have seen them.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Yes this unit is a very short walk to the beach and what you can't see in the picture is that it is also across the street from a strip mall. Look at google maps! Pizza Hut gets deliveries at all times of the night and the maintanance people work during the night as well. I am used to no AC in Hawaii and I don't mind that but I am also used to peace and quiet and the gentle sounds of the ocean. You won't get that here. Super loud and chaotic. I wouldnt stay here again. The unit has AC but only for the front living room. The unit was uncomfortable and loud. Never agian.

Family Vacation

This place was located in the perfect spot. Close to shopping, beach and restaurants. We had a blast hanging out at the beach together and our condo came fully equipped with boogie boards, beach chairs and towels. We definitely plan to return again!
