You can listen to live music happening at the Firefly Distillery from the private community dock, walk to one of South Carolina's first breweries, Holy City Brewing, take a stroll to choose a restaurant for brunch, lunch and dinner, or head over to Park Circle/Waterfront Park for even more options. Let's not forget! It's only 5.5 miles to Tanger Outlets, 6.5 miles to downtown & 10 miles to the beach.

The host did an amazing job informing guests for their stay and what to expect in listing. The space was perfect for my family and had pretty much everything you needed to feel like you were at home. The overall space was kept neat and clean. Outdoor seating was perfect for morning coffee talk and low key hang out for the adults in the evenings. The location was great for getting around the city and near by shops. We were able to check out the Firefly distillery and downtown North Charleston to Park Circle. In previous reviews I read about the area being sketchy but honestly everyone we came in contact with was very nice and respectful. Nights were quiet and pretty peaceful. Overall the Host and location was excellent. Highly recommend staying here.
We had a great time. Great location with easy access to and from the interstate and surrounding areas. Nice neighborhood for walking, running, and biking.
This duplex/townhome was perfect for me and a couple friends in town for a wedding weekend. Plenty of space, clean and conveniently located for our events. The host was a pleasure to deal with and made everything so easy from check in to check out!
Our whole family enjoyed staying here. The checkin instructions were spot on, the house was clean, and there was plenty of space for 6 of us. It was a quick drive to downtown Charleston and took us about 30 minutes to get to Folly Beach. We would stay here again!
House was clean and ready for us. Plenty of room. We were able to stay as a family for an important family weekend. Had everything we needed. Comfortable beds.
This was such a cute spot for a girls weekend. Close enough to downtown and the beaches where everything was easy and max 20min away but also has some great breweries and brunch spots less than 5 min down the road. The host was awesome and really easy to contact/quick to respond. Parking was easy and straightforward and the property was spotless and so cute. 10/10
The property was very clean. I always love when the Host provides the basics - like nice toilet paper, coffee pods, dishwashing pods, and hand soap (maybe it's just me, but I hate it when I have to go to the store to buy extra TP because the Host is 'rationing' it.)
Neighborhood was very quiet.
Definitely recommend getting out to the Park Circle area. I enjoyed sitting out in the fenced in backyard to enjoy a glass of wine.
Would stay here again!
We stayed in North Charleston versus downtown to avoid crowds in the historic area. This townhome was convenient to some neat restaurants and shopping. The kitchen had everything we needed, 2 1/2 baths were a plus and had it been warmer we would have enjoyed the small backyard. Parking was plentiful and communication with the host was easy. We did not venture out to find the community dock but will should we decide to return. We were only there for 2 nights but it served us well. All in all a great stay!
The property was fair. The stairs were not very easily adaptable. Very steep. Linens were not great. But overall the place was ok. It is connected, duplex, which we did not know when renting.. it was overall sufficient.
This is a central location if your activities take you to both Charlotte and N. Charlotte. Short Uber/Lyft to downtown Charlotte and close to everything in N. Charlotte.
The unit is spotless but a little on the basic side. We were out and about all day/night in Charlotte and the High Water Music Festival, so we just needed a bed, so it was perfect for us. If you want a place to spend time, this unit might not be the best.
Note for High Water Music Festival attendees: This is very close to Riverside Park, but it doesn't really matter since High Water has a large amount of free public parking.
Our family enjoyed our stay while visiting for our sonâs Naval Station graduation. The location was close to Goose Creek, Mt. Pleasant & had lots of food options nearby. The townhouse was well laid out, with plenty of room for 2 couples, 2 children & an infant. The furnishings were comfortable & pretty.
Would definitely come back!!
If you are looking for a jump-off point to visit downtown Charleston or the beach, this place would be great for you. If you are looking to spend time at the townhouse during your vacation this may not be the place for you.
Pro
- Close to Charleston (15 minute drive)
- Very Clean
- Comfortable beds
- The kitchen has what you need to cook
- Close to a few coffee shops & stores in North Circle
- The inside is just as it is pictured, very nicely decorated.
Cons
- The neighborhood wasn't what we had expected based on the description of being able to walk to the park, etc. We were expecting a very safe and family-friendly environment. That wasn't what we got. We tried walking around but had several interactions with others in the neighborhood that made us feel uneasy.
- There was a terrible smell outside, this is apparently normal for North Charleston. We weren't aware of that before we picked to stay here.
- Living room furniture was very uncomfortable
The house was fantastic, we was 3 adults and 3 teens and everyone had their own space. Loved that the house is pet friendly with a fenced in yard. Short walk to Park Circle, which is super cool with lots of bars, restaurants and coffee shop options. The house was really clean and well equipped. There was a Publix a short drive away, and downtown Charleston was an easy 15 minutes in the car. Would definitely stay here again, thanks for having us!
We had a wonderful stay at this property. The decor and vibe of the house was very nice and accommodating. It was a little farther to downtown Charleston than we expected, but Uber was very easy and not to expensive. We would definitely stay here again.
Thank you
