Multiple gathering spaces, poker & game table, pool table, flat & useable yard, lush fabrics & exquisite decor. Private yet close to Hendersonville, Asheville, Green River Gorge, Saluda, DuPont, Pisgah, Tryon, Lake Lure, Chimney, Mines, Breweries & Wineries!

The space
The Owl's Nest is an authentic log cabin with a soaring open floor plan perfect for gatherings and oozing quintessential rustic, yet luxurious charm. All the bedrooms are private and well equipped for a quiet escape when needed. The 3 glorious acres allow for recreation galore. The huge flat lot is perfect for families to spread out, play corn-hole and other games, explore the creeks, be mesmerized by the fog rolling off the hills, tell stories in the rocking chairs, and immerse yourself in nature. The property sits off a main road which provides unbelievable access to stores, recreation and restaurants. No winding roads or chains on your tires required!! It couldn't be easier to get to.

The interior of the cabin will envelope you with comfort and class as you sit around the stacked stone fireplace and prepare meals in the open kitchen and dining space. The sunroom offers a respite for those that want to read, nature watch or play games.There are three private bedrooms downstairs, including a sunken master completely in it's wing of solitude. All bedrooms have beautiful windows that offer glimpses of the lush outdoors. The master offers a large bathroom with an enormous jacuzzi tub, double sinks and stone shower. Upstairs you will find an recreation space to die for with an additional lounging TV area, game and poker table and pool table. The pitched wood beamed ceilings will take your breath away. Also upstairs is a second master (4th bedroom) with a luxurious king bed, 2 sitting areas, an electric fireplace, TV, a gorgeous beamed window feature and private bath.

There is literally no better home that encompasses convenience and a true mountain feeling experience for the whole family. You'll never want to leave :)

This property was everything it was said to be. Comfortable, warm, well provisioned, clean, accommodating, spacious and enjoyed by all family members. Absolutely perfect for our family as we visited relatives living is beautiful Hendersonville.

Wonderful Repeat Visit

This was our family’s second week-long stay at this property. Kids loved it so much that we came back again. Large yard with fire pit and two streams that our boys loved playing in. House is spacious and welcoming and in close proximity to Pisgah and Dupont Forests.

Magical Cozy Holiday

Angela's attention to holiday trees, lights and decor surprises put us in the perfect mood for family and Santa. The Bing Crosby album and record player made us smile. Clean, comfortable beds, peaceful views and open concept made being together easy and special. Fantastic location for a coffee downtown Hendersonville or short drive to The Biltmore. Extraordinary lodge for shared vacations & family reunions

We chose the Owl's Nest as a home base for 3 retired couples visiting us to play golf at the Etowah Valley Golf Resort and explore the WNC countryside at peak season for fall color. The location, just outside of Hendersonville, is superb. There are plenty of nearby attractions and services, yet you feel secluded on the large property. We were all IMMEDIATELY comfortable in the space... and there was plenty of it in this large home. We could have hosted 4 couples and easily had a party for 40 considering the large kitchen, big living room with fireplace and big-screen TV and a separate parlor downstairs, and the game room upstairs. It was all tastefully decorated and still "homey". The big table in the kitchen was perfect for family-style dinner and evening games of cards and Mexican Train. The grounds were neatly kept and we wished we had time (and warmer weather) to take advantage of the outdoor amenities, And there was plenty of room to park. Over and over I heard amazement at how so many details had been thoughtfully taken care of. We brought our own provisions but noticed that anything we might have forgotten... oils, spices, ketchup, mustard, butter, plastic wrap... were all available to us. All our guests were sincere effusive in their comments that this was a wonderful choice for our get-together... and I'm sure it would be great for yours, too!

Owl's Nest is The Best!

We loved our stay at the Owl's Nest! We enjoyed everything about the home both inside and out. Our family of 7 had plenty of space to relax, play, sleep, and share meals together. We utilized all of the awesome features including the amazing firepit, laundry, full kitchen and grill, game room (learning & playing poker was a highlight!), games galore, comfy furniture, complimentary coffee... I could go on & on! All of the local recommendations and brochures were very helpful as we are not familiar with the area. Thanks to the suggestions provided by Angela, our family experienced amazing new adventures together including tubing at Green River Cove and hiking DuPont State Park (waterfalls!!). We also spent time in Hendersonville, visited the Biltmore gardens, and explored downtown Asheville as well. The location of the Owl's Nest was perfect and we look forward to visiting again in the future. Thanks Angela & Jeb (and family)!

Great outdoor space!

Comfortable and welcoming home. Immaculately clean. The decor inside and out makes it a really pleasant place to spend time. It was great to have some starter coffee and snacks and paper goods. We appreciated the well-organized info binder which tells about the house and about lots of nearby activities. Local hikes are awesome - we enjoyed the waterfalls at the Dupont Forest and at Carl Sandburg's house. The Owl's Nest was a great place for our multi-generation family trip!

Great time with friends

We were a group of 8 adults The Owl’s Nest was perfect. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook. The cabin was clean. We enjoyed coffee on the porch every morning and a fire at night. Great location for visiting Mt Mitchell and riding motorcycles through the Blue Ridge. Communication with the host was great.

The home is as beautiful as the pictures and the property is stunning! There was plenty of rooms and space for everyone to spread out and enjoy themselves. Really enjoyed the fire pit at night while star gazing.

Cozy home for a relaxing getaway

This might be the coziest rental we’ve every stayed in. Felt truly like a home and not just someone’s rental property. Was great for adults and children. Clean, well stocked, and plenty of space for everyone. Will likely stay here again!

Our family very much enjoyed the Owl Nest! The home had a wonderful and relaxing vibe. Spacious, beautifully decorated, and great location. My family and I (5 adults and 2 children) enjoyed our recent stay at your beautiful property. There was a lot of entertainment inside and out for the kids and adults and spacious. MEMORIAL DAY FAMILY VACATION

We chose this home for a much needed family getaway and we were not disappointed! The house was just beautiful and our family of 7 had plenty of room to spread out. Clean comfortable and soo relaxing! The backyard was perfect for the kids to play and explore and the little creek on the property was definitely a bonus! Incredible home

We are a family owned business and we were in the area on a business trip/family trip. The home is more beautiful in person than in the pictures. Perfectly clean, well stocked, inviting and warm. The owner was always available and went over and above to be accommodating. Because we own a business in the area now, we will definitely be back to create more memories. It was a wonderful stay

My heart belongs to nature and I'm moved by creating spaces that literally envelop you in an embrace when you arrive...I wish for every visitor to find a piece of themselves they never knew before their stay. Disconnect from the world a bit and reconnect with yourself. Sit quietly, breathe deeply, listen to the sounds in the wind, play, laugh, explore, exhaust your body and feed your soul. The interior is custom designed and decorated, large, stunning and stocked with every item one would need to have a spectacular vacation! In addition, there is a new walking/biking path that is being built where the old railroad tracks used to be and part of it is already walkable allowing easy access to the local coffee shop and more!
