This luxury home is located on Barren River Lake in beautiful Sunset Ridge. This home features TWO MASTER BEDROOM Suites each with en-suite bathroom on the main level! BLESSING BY THE LAKE offers a picturesque, private setting with a relaxing covered front porch, outdoor fire pit, screened-in patio, and two spacious upper decks for grilling and entertaining. Beautiful lake views can be seen from nearly every window! BLESSING BY THE LAKE is nearly 2000 square feet of comfortable living space and offers 5 private bedrooms, a loft area bedroom and 4.5 bathrooms. The newly remodeled lower level has two private bedrooms, a full bathroom, and lots of seating and games for the family.

BLESSING BY THE LAKE is within walking distance to community steps allowing direct access to the lake and a community dock. Baileys Point Campground is just over a mile from the property offering a boat launch, picnic area and playground! This location is the perfect proximity to MAMMOTH CAVE NATIONAL PARK, NATIONAL CORVETTE MUSEUM and NASHVILLE, TN. You will find everything you need for the ultimate lakeside retreat!

Beautiful spot to enjoy nature

This property was very clean and well equipped. An excellent spot for a family gathering. We missed the ability to go out the door and take walks but we did take advantage of the state park just up the road and walked there.

Thanksgiving Getaway

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our little getaway to your gorgeous cabin. You thought of everything to have there and available. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen w all the items we needed to make a Thanksgiving feast. We enjoyed having a lovely fire, playing games, and spending time together as a family.

We had a wonderful time. It is an absolutely gorgeous place, peaceful, and roomy. We were able to have a few members of my family over for a nice dinner one night. We had a great time!

Loved the house inside and out - especially the screened in porch. Beautiful sunset view. Wish the water access had been a bit less rigorous. We would stay here again!!

We were in for my daughter's college graduation and while this was a 30 minute drive it was great to get away and be in the country on the lake. The house was exactly as portrayed, if not better. It had everything you needed from the kitchen to all the toys. Highly, highly recommend if you're looking to have a nice get away in the country.

Comfy, clean and well appointed

We stayed 5 nights the last week of Oct. The house was wonderful and Cindy made a few changes to our rezy to allow us to enjoy the last of warm weather. The property is on a serious slope in the back and in my opinion, not something to tackle too easily for lake access. We're fishermen and were expecting the water level to be too low to use the dock, but we also didnt know the dock is a good deal away even if we could have. Ended up using the Baileys Point Campground to launch boats each day. 2 boats, 2 cars easily fit in the home's driveway with room to spare. Beds were all very comfy, ample bathrooms and great screened porch with water views. The kitchen has more furnishings than you can imagine. There's a large freezer side with icemaker, which was great. We sure hope to return, it was a welcome respite for the 6 of us. Thank you!

Perfect!!

We’ve stayed in a lot of vacation rentals & this beautiful home is one of the best! The pics don’t do it justice. It’s stunning inside & outside. We lived on the front porch & screened in back porch. We loved watching the cows from the front porch & WOW! the views of the lake are breathtaking from the back. We were lucky enough to witness beautiful sunsets among the fall colors! This home really is a Blessing - the perfect name. When we were inside, we had everything we needed from plastic wrap, extra blankets to games & puzzles! The decor is so nice & cozy. I’ve never stayed anywhere that was so well stocked with essentials & beyond. We are already planning when we can go back!!

Beautiful view, tricky lake access

We enjoyed the home. Great communication. Some issues with central air, but quickly resolved. The dock was a bit farther from the house and tricky to get to with the kayaks, but loved the view and the screened porch!

Family Time

This was a beautiful cabin to relax and enjoy a good time with family! We rented a pontoon on Barren River Lake at Narrows marina just a few miles away from the cabin and had a wonderful time. Highly recommend this cabin for reservation!

College Friends Retreat

Six UK graduates now in our early 70s enjoyed a marvelous long weekend at this amazing cottage. We have been going on retreats together for a number of years and this house was perfect with its ample size, ample beds and ample baths. Furthermore, it was decorated so beautifully in modern farm house accessories and was clean and well stocked with all the essentials, clear down to have baggies and containers to store leftovers. The fireplace was the selling point for us and we gathered around it most of the time. Its an actual woodburning, wood was provided and plentiful and it had a propane starter for ease of use. The back of the house including the bedrooms have magnificent views of the lake. Since it was Dec, we couldn't use the screened in deck, but its spacious and well-appointed and would be absolutely delightful in warm weather. The host was readily available and completely accommodating. This cottage is truly a blessing by the lake that I will highly recommend to our friends.

Beautiful lake retreat!

We stayed at Blessings by the Lake during the week of Thanksgiving. It was the perfect lake home with all the amenities and extras in the kitchen. Home is tastefully decorated, extremely clean and wood to keep the fireplace going. We watched sunsets from one side and the cows from the front. We will definitely be back to enjoy this home away from home

Barren Lake rental, October 2022

This is the best rental cabin we'd ever stayed at. The house is beautiful, clean, excellently stocked, easy to get into with plenty of space. Everywhere there were neat surprises in art items, conveniences, and the kitchen/grill had everything we wanted. The deck and porches were great and spacious. This is a great area, relaxing, with many trails around the large lake, good restaurants/wineries in Glasgow, Scottsvill, and Bowling. We went partly for distillery tours and that was good as expected. I recommend this beautiful property!!!

A peaceful respite

This was like being in a family owned lodge where there was enough space to comfortably accommodate us, cozy enough to not feel distant and in a lovely quiet surrounding. Our host, Cindy, was most helpful and welcoming. The house was not only warm and cozy but full of amenities, like a game room, fully stocked kitchen, even including many incidentals like spices and foil wrap! They were ready for us and we felt welcome!

2nd time here

This was our 2nd visit to this rental I had 3 new family members visit and they loved it. I still think the trees in the back looking at the lake need trimming to be able to have a better view of it,and also the walkway that led down to the lake was blocked off by I’m guessing new owners of a house that was built close to the walkway.Had an issue with the A/C system that was resolved the next day . Definitely recommend this rental

My Dream Vacation Home

This is my dream vacation home come to life! We loved the separate master bedrooms each with master bathrooms. Great for the two sets of parents. The loft with its own bath was perfect for the kids. Loved the big kitchen and all that came with it. It was so nice to have everything we needed including some basics so we didn't need to shop for every single thing. Lots of space for everyone to hang out together or do their own thing. I miss my morning routine of relaxing in the screened in porch, listening to the birds. (Our only complaint was that the trees were so big they limited the beautiful lake view.) We had an issue with the keyless entry but Cindy was available instantly to fix the problem asap. The decor is so cute, everywhere! Comfy, cozy and spacious all at once. If you're looking for a beautiful home to relax in with a group, this is it!
