We loved this cozy cabin and the surrounding farm setting. We wanted a place to stay that I could work on my Doctorate while my husband worked in nearby Bowling Green. This was the perfect place! We made new friends with some of the animals and enjoyed relaxing in the outdoor living area. There was a heat advisory the entire time we were there, so I didn't hike out to explore the cave or creek, but the cabin's AC was wonderful! This place is tucked back away from the road but it's not far from town.David and Yamil are wonderful hosts! Yamil showed me around the farm and we enjoyed some wonderful conversation! While their house is just across the driveway, we had plenty of privacy. We are already planning to book another stay when we can take a vacation to explore Mammoth Caves!
Got there late. GPS put us past the driveway we needed. So we looked at house numbers on mailbox then easy to find. Owners friendly. Hope to make it back to explore the trails and cave.
Our host was amazing, they made it felt like we were right at home. The property was everything and more of what was advertised. I strongly suggest the hike down to the small cave on the property. We loved everything about the cabin. We can't wait for next year! next year!
Great place to keep coming back to as the hosts treat you like family and share life on the farm with you freely! If your family enjoys animals and hikes in the woods itâs a great place to rest and unplug!
David is an amazing host, super friendly and quick with responses. The property was super clean and there is a bunch of things to do and explore. Unfortunately we didn't have the time. Next time!
We stayed during the summer with our son and enjoyed every minute of our trip. From the fresh farm eggs to the quiet countryside everything was fantastic. The host are excellent down to earth people that make you feel welcomed.
This was such a needed getaway. We came for our 21st wedding anniversary and we had an amazing time. The cabin is fully stocked with anything you will need. It was clean and very welcoming. The porch was perfect for drinking coffee and listening to the chickens do their thing (one of my favorite parts). The owners were very welcoming and nice. They are right across the way and there if you need them and leave you alone if you don't. The creek was great also. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone who wants to relax and enjoy the sounds of the farm or if you have kids. Bowling Green is close enough that if you want to shop or go out to eat, it's not a long drive. We went to the Lost River Cave and that was so much fun. No complaints at all. Wish I could give them 10 stars!
We enjoyed our weekend stay here. Perfect place to enjoy nature and all it has to offer. The hosts were super friendly, very communicative, and generous. Thank you for your hospitality.
Our family had a wonderful few days here. We enjoyed the surrounding beauty, had fun playing in the creek and relaxing in general. The hosts were great and we appreciated the farm tour, and getting to pick eggs.
My group participated in Hot Rod Power Tour 2024 and used this cabin as our home away from home. It was absolutely perfect. Quiet, convenient, beautiful and fit our needs perfectly. We had no worries, even traveling in two classic cars. If youâre planning to be in the Bowling Green area, this is the place you want to stay.
Will for sure be coming back! This place felt very homey. We enjoyed all of the animals and how friendly they were, especially the dog and cat. Everything was fantastic.
We took our grandson to Mammoth caves for his 18th birthday, and weâre lucky enough to find this charming little place on the farm to stay. We absolutely love this place! It had places for my grandson to get out and explore while my husband and I enjoyed feeding and petting the animals on the farm. The little cabin was clean and well stocked with everything you could need and our hosts were absolutely wonderful. It was nice to just disconnect from everything for a couple of days, we definitely give this place a 10 out of 10. Itâs a great place if you have small children, or even teenagers who love animals, they have a donkey, turkeys, goats, cows and chickens just make sure to take apples because donkey loves apples! Oh, and we canât forget Della the dog. She is so sweet. â€ïž
The property was absolutely beautiful. My kids loved the animals. The loft area was perfect for my kids, they claimed it as their own the minute we walked in. We visited the area for a wedding, so we didn't get to enjoy everything the property had to offer. We would love to book again just to explore. The owners were so nice.
The family was amicable and engaging. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but unfortunately, we cut it short due to a situation out of the owner's control. I would recommend a stay here if you are looking to close out the world and enjoy some family time.
