Cabin on Brookville Lake with a quiet neighborhood. Within a two min walk of Brookville Lake and boat launch, find yourself inside this cabin with friends and family. This property offers a quiet and relaxed setting with many local attractions and activities. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a sunroom with games, and a large open area to take a break from the race of life. We have just finished renovating and added a pool table.
The cabin smelled fresh and was very clean when we checked in. The beds were very comfortable. There was a bonus cat that gave us lots of snuggles. There was The upstairs b
Plenty of room for everyone (5 adults & 2 kids) beds were comfortable, showers were great & kitchen was pretty well stocked for cooking needs. WIFI seemed to work pretty good but spotty at times ( able to watch college football on the laptop) also was an easy drive into Connorsville for the Polar Express Train. If was located close to the boat ramp also which is a nice perk for anyone that might want to use it in the summertime.
We went for 3 nights for a guys family fishing trip. The accommodations were great . We had a boat launch about a minute away and a bait shop about 2 minutes away.
We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly and give our stay 5 out of 5 stars.
We had a girls trip- my mom, aunt, my sister, and me! As soon as we walked in, we noticed how clean and fresh is smelled. The house is absolutely beautiful. It was perfect for us and would be perfect for many more of us! Plenty of bedrooms and sleeping space. Owner was readily available when I sent him a text. I give this beautiful place five stars. Also, update from posts that I read from years ago: THERE IS and large television now. I do want to point out that the grass was pretty high and the internet/wifi did not work most of the time, but that just gave us more time to socialize and spend some quality time together. Internet wasnât ideal for watching movies at all, but there is plenty to do.Next time we will bring our fishing poles and maybe find a boat rental place. And to top it off, the outside fire was cozy, and the five deer we saw, roaming around the tree-line were bonuses!!!! You will not regret renting this place. :)
The cabin itself was clean and tidy the only reason I gave the property a three on the cleanliness is because the grass hadn't been cut and was very high we could not go out in it because it stayed wet most of the time from the Dew because it was so high so we couldn't go out to play cornhole and had to do that on the deck which was not very much fun other than that we did enjoy the pool table and everything else about the cabin and we will use it again if it's available . aboutthplallwilluslitagain.
This cabin was very clean and we will stay again. We would like to come 0back sometime in the summer when we can see the grounds and go to the lake. There were a couple things to touch on. The walls have no insulation inside so you hear every move made when someone upstairs walks across the floor. Also, we noticed that when too many lights were turned on upstairs, it trips the GFI. Once we figured out what was causing it, we worked with it. It was nice to have the foos ball game downstairs that the kids could play. That helped a lot with helping to keep them occupied. It would have been nice to have another King room maybe downstairs. However, the sleeping arrangements worked out OK for us and I'm sure we'll come again. The main thing was that the cabin was clean and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable.
If someone had a boat there is a launch and large parking lot right there. And large yard.
Cabin is older but a good value.
Very open concept. One negative about that is a whisper can be heard anywhere especially in the loft bedroom. Everyone needs to go to bed at the same time.
This is a great property for large groups or just 4. Do your studys of the lake it is on a no wake side for quiet a while & I'd suggest this ramp for smaller boats, its a great place for sunset pictures on the dock. With that being said there is room for a 37ft boat trailer to be parked on property, we just put in a little further down at Fairfield Ramp. Very quiet street, very relaxing trip. House is clean, great kitchen and open set up. Covered porch is great to sit on, has a small goldfish pond.
We rented the home for a 'hang out with grandma' week. I have 7 grandchildren and the house was perfect. The older children could walk right down to the dock and fish which was very convenient. There was plenty of room for us all to spread out. It was a great place for a family get together.
We loved the yard. It was great! So great they had a cornhole set. There seemed to be a lack of kitchen items. We bought and left a pan as the only one that was there had most of the tephlone missing. No large bowl or vessel for a salad. There were also no screens on the windows, a little odd for a mid-west property. We would stay again because of the yard!
Our family of 10 enjoyed our stay. The host was responsive when we had needs. A few things were broken which were inconveniences (coffee pot, recliner) but not major deals.
This property was very clean and exactly as shown on their listing. The only complaint is lack of privacy - the walls are THIN, THIN, THIN, and one of the bathrooms has walls that don't reach the ceiling. The "1/2 bath" is a toilet and sink in an open basement (no walls). So make sure you're REALLY comfortable with the people you choose to stay here with! The one issue we had was quickly addressed, so no complaints there. I really don't see this home comfortably holding 8 or 10 guests, but we were fine with 6.
Needs some improvement. Lots of Asian Beetles and poor outdoor lighting.
They have a severe Asian Beetle problem. They are EVERYWHERE in your towels and bedding. Some even traveled home with us. They charge a cleaning fee and my wife had to clean when we got there. There is a need for outdoor lighting by the steps. There is one light by door but that doesnât help
much by the steps. There was one light on an extension cord which did not work. My wife changed the bulb and the bulb blew out immediately. We unplugged it apparently a wiring problem.
