What a wonderful place
This villa has everything you need for a perfect stay in Umbria. The view from the terrace is spectacular. The beds comfy and the A/C a blessing after exploring on a hot Italian day. The owner George is delightful to deal with. You’ll love Todi. It’s quaint and the shops and restaurants are a 3 min walk from the villa. And free parking as well. Thank you George for everything. We will be back.
Thank you Michelle. It was a pleasure having you. We look forward to your next visit (with the new garden furniture we just bought!)
A piece of paradise
Been planning this trip for years and it was everything I thought it would be. George was very helpful to tend to any of our needs. Very well located to so many other villages. The Emie and COOP grocery stores are lovely. You will love Todi!
Grazie carissima! It was a pleasure having you and your friends stay at our home. So happy you enjoyed everything.
Historic house and setting with an Italian authenticity
This is a charming medieval town house close to the historic centre of Todi, a grand citadel high on the hill above the Umbrian countryside. The house is largely unaltered, but comfortable, with stunning views. The towering church next door, the steep alleyway outside and the delightful twittering of housemartins above, just add to its beauty. Highly recommended.
Thank you for your kind words Roland. It is truly a special house in a very special town.
Beautiful unique property
We were charmed by the lovely, spacious home in beautiful Todi. We enjoyed the yard in the morning before taking off for the day. Waking up to the birds singing and the sunrise were two things we never got tired of. Comfy beds and bathrooms made for a very pleasant stay for 4 adults. We enjoyed the living room in the evening before going to dinner. All in all a very rare opportunity to stay in a very special place. We all highly recommend this place. PS Owner George made sure all was well during our stay, calling us when we arrived and checking in with us when we were leaving.
Thank you Susana! We thoroughly enjoyed having you and appreciate how well you took care of the house. Thank you also for your enthusiasm for my book on Todi. It was a labor of love.
Truly A Home Away
Four of us called this tastefully renovated property home for two weeks this October and could not have been more pleased. The rental description is indeed, accurate. The house was clean and well stocked, the beds were very comfortable and there was lots of room for everyone to relax and hang out. We loved gathering at the huge kitchen table and the garden was an autumn delight. It is a perfect blend of original character with modern convenience.
Our host was incredibly thoughtful and kept us abreast of local events as well as helping us with an excellent car rental service--shout out to Agostini Auto!
Todi is an amazingly beautiful medieval town and a perfect home base for exploring Southern Umbria. We loved our local daily walks, exploring the beguiling streets and passageways that bear the patina of centuries of Italian history. And of course, so many wonderful spots to have a coffee or aperitif while admiring the amazing views of the valley below. You will not regret your stay in this special property.
There is nothing that can gratify a host more than having guests who
appreciate the dedication, concern and hard work that go into making one's
home a very special place. Thank you so much for your kind words.
Hello, our family of 6 (2 adults and 4 kids) had a wonderful 12 day stay that this house in Todi. The layout worked well for our family, the garden was very pretty and we appreciated the very well stocked kitchen. We felt like we were in someone's home and not a rental which was something we really appreciated. While it could be hot outside, it was generally very cool inside with the stone floors and AC and fans available.
Todi was the perfect size town. The house is a 5 minute very steep walk to the piazza, which we appreciated so we could eat more pasta and tons of delicious food options. People were very welcoming in the town and there was plenty to explore in the area.
George made us feel very welcome and constantly checked in on our stay. He also forwarding us invitations to events in Todi and we ended up buying two paintings at an art opening he invited us to.
The house does have a lot of stairs and is at the base of a steep hill so if you have mobility issues that would be an issue. Also, it is great having a dedicated parking space but don't get too big of a car with your traditional medieval town streets.
We all loved the place, working with George and would definitely stay here again.
