We chose this home for our annual family vacation – two grandparents, our two children and their spouses, and our five grandchildren. Eleven of us in all and we had plenty of space. Alyssa, our host, was quick to respond to questions and very helpful.The views are truly exceptional. The kitchen was roomy and easy to work in, and opened out to the living/dining area so you didn’t feel isolated while cooking. We had separate bathrooms for each family unit. The “bunk room” was perfect for our four grandsons – 3 brothers and a cousin. They loved it!Our boys are very active and spent time playing whiffle ball baseball outside on the front lawn. The game room in the basement (plus the toy closet) also provided hours of entertainment -- ping pong tournaments, foosball competition, and shuffleboard. If we had been “stuck inside” with inclement weather (we weren’t!), I think the kids would have been fine playing in the game room for hours on end. The hot tub is right outside the basement game room and was another well enjoyed activity.The boys were eager to fish and the proximity to Mount Sunapee State Park was great; we spent several afternoons there swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, and fishing. We also visited the Mount Sunapee Resort for hiking and mountain biking. There were challenging mountain bike trails accessible via the ski lift and also a mountain bike skills park, so there was something appropriate for everyone.Our stay at Alyssa’s beautiful home was wonderful!

beautiful family weekend

This property is exactly as shown in pics. Gorgeous views and plenty of room for our big family, we loved it. Game room and toys are an added bonus for children and adults. Hot tub was enjoyed by all while taking in that beautiful view. Kitchen is very well stocked and easy to work in Can't wait to return!

Yearly ALL-family vacation

This year our family decided on spending a week in New Hampshire. We'd never been and we 3 families live in 3 different parts of the country. We love to explore and engage with the area and we loved it. Hanging at Sunapee Lk. Hiking Sunapee Mt to Lake Solitude. White Mts to see The Flume Gorge. One day in Portsmouth and Kinnery Maine. The house was a great location and perfectly appointed. It was great having the basement for the kids to play games and watch a movie one night.

Beautiful home. Had some minor issues, but owner was quick to respond in resolving the problem. Overall, it was a positive experience. House was very clean, warm, and cozy.

Peaceful mountain getaway!

This was the perfect setting for our mountain vacation. The home was luxurious yet not fussy. The view from the deck was spectacular, and the grill was much appreciated. The kitchen is also fully stocked and ready for meal preparation for lots of people. We enjoyed hiking nearby Mount Sunapee and also paddle boarding on the lake. We would love to return next summer!

Perfect multi-family getaway

The house was exactly what our multi-family vacation needed. The house made us feel right at home; every family had their own bedroom and full bathroom, the finished basement was great for the kids and adults (lots of kids toys a cool kid-sized "room" to play in) and the deck view gave the adults exactly what we needed to relax after a long day. Alyssa was the best host, she was kind and professional, and quickly answered all of my questions. I recommend this home to all families, large or small, who want to share a house and not be crowded. Thanks again to the Pierce family for sharing their beautiful home and making our 1st multi-family vacation possible.

Corrected: We had the privilege to be the first renters of this new, exceptionally well-kept and gracefully appointed and decorated home. All equipment and furnishings are of top quality and in perfect condition. Most notably, Alyssa could not have been more welcoming and thought about every detail that made our stay completely turn-key. As it is their personal secondary house and not an investment property, we did feel like honored guests in their home and the provisions available reflected that. Should our crew find ourselves back to sailboat race in Sunapee again, we’ll be sure to stay here again. You won’t be disappointed either. Paul and Bob

I along with my husband and 3 kids live in the Boston area. We purchased this home in the fall of 2021. I work as a nurse and my husband has a service business.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We purchased the home in the fall of 2021; the stunning views really pulled us in. Since then, we have been going up to the house to spend quality time with family and friends. We have really enjoyed all four seasons in Sunapee: skiing, leaf peeping, enjoying the lake during the summer, and just gathering with friends and enjoying the outdoors in the spring.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

We were very drawn to the house because it is very spacious and has amazing views. The kids can run around and play outside or hangout in the game room. The basement has shuffleboard, ping-pong and pop-a-shot, which is so fun! There is something for everyone here, whether its outdoor adventure all year round, or hanging by the fire and doing a puzzle. We try to make the house as family friendly as possible.
