Welcome to unit #343! Our quaint 2 bedroom unit features a bedroom with 2 twin beds, a loft bedroom with a king size bed, a queen size sofa-bed in the living room, 2 full bathrooms, including a jetted tub. Host additional guests on the queen size sleeper sofa in the living room.
The open concept living space, entails a kitchenette with a mid-sized fridge, 2 burner cooktop, and a microwave. With living room seating for 5, a hightop table, and a gas fireplace it is the perfect unit for entertaining. Don't forget to enjoy the balcony as the boats sail in and out of Round Lake.
It's everything you need for a weekend getaway!
The Edgewater Inn is located on north shore of Round Lake harbor and the Pine River channel with prime drawbridge views. Just a short walk to Charlevoix’s finest dining, beaches, shopping and galleries, the Edgewater Inn is an ideal location for a short getaway, extended vacation, or wedding celebration. One-bedroom/one-bath and two-bedroom/two-bath units offer all the amenities needed for a comfortable home-away-from-home stay.
Each condo is individually owned and uniquely decorated. Stay in a different room every time or find a favorite. With 48 unique rooms, numerous amenities and a friendly staff, the Edgewater Inn offers business or leisure travelers an enjoyable place to stay in the heart of beautiful downtown Charlevoix. High-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the building, as well as a guest laundry facility. The inside section of the pool is open year-round, while the outside section is closed off October to May.

Beautiful condo in the heart of Charlevoix

My four family members and I loved our stay at this loft! The views are tremendous and the proximity to the lakes and downtown couldn’t be better. Highly recommend this stay!

Lakefront weekend getaway

Great location with gorgeous lake view. Walk to everywhere downtown and to the beach. We loved our stay in this bright and inviting condo.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great stay; however, our accommodations (room 343) was a disappointment. Badly in need of updates. Carpeting was filthy, living room chairs old and filthy, mattress needed replacing. This was my first time staying at Edgewater Inn. I would come back again, but would definitely not rent unit 343 in the future if they don’t update the unit.

A perfect stop over

This was a perfect layover on our way through MI. The beds were comfortable, the towels were great and the place was quiet and clean. Yes, the sofa arms, coffee table and carpet are showing their use, but it really wasn't an issue. The little deck overlooking the inlet was enjoyable, both day and night, and it was fun looking around the corner to see the bridge opening for the boats. Thanks!

However, the floor below was open so guests below us could be heard. The AC unit next to the balcony was very loud and the sliding door was extremely hard to open. The carpet was stained. The location is perfect with straight on views of Round Lake and side views of the Charlevoix bridge. Easy walk to everything in town. The Edgewater has a nice pool and great staff.

This COULD be a comfortable rental

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We tend to rent a condo once or twice a year in northern Michigan to enjoy the colors, or Venetian Week or just to visit family. To us, besides location, comfortability is the number one most important aspect of renting a getaway/vacation place. If you have old, rundown, dirty carpet and old, grungy, dirty furniture and horribly uncomfortable beds...Then it is not a comfortable space. The carpet should be replaced with a more applicable and easy to clean flooring. You didn't even want to take off your shoes. The furniture is so old, there are indented dirty fingerprints in the arms of the couch and chairs. We had to sit at the table the entire time. Definitely time to replace the furniture! And lastly, please update your beds!! It is where your guests spend the most amount of time. The beds are hard, slanted, dirty bedspreads, etc. Very uncomfortable.It would be a great place to stay if these updates are made. If not, keep looking.

Not happy!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The carpet in the unit had multiple stains and was not clean. There were no hangers in the closets, one lamp missing a bulb and one lamp could not be turned on because the switch was broken. They did give us a discount when we complained.

Great Fall Weekend

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We arrived much later than expected so the contactless check in information was timely and convenient. I'd say the only slight issue we had all weekend was figuring out where exactly our unit was upon arrival... But we found the signage inside and figured it out 😁 Best location of a place, ever - super convenient to downtown and walking the river. We slept well and boy howdy, the water pressure in the upstairs bathroom was GLORIOUS. It was like being sprayed down by the opa during a riot. (Just kidding - it is awesome though) Slight musty smell upon arrival but it may have been the smell of the pool wafting up. Oh, pool is great! Used it late Saturday with the kids. Thought our key wasn't working and then realized the other door was just wide open, hehe, and we said "ooooh that's why we have the pool smell upstairs!" Awesome place for a fall-winter-early spring break. Would love to be able to afford staying here in the summer but yikes, no! We'll just enjoy those beautiful views and quacking ducks in the off season ❤️

Ski Weekend

We had a wonderful stay in Charlevoix. Skiing and shopping and visiting family. The condo was spacious and clean. All amenities we needed. Great location and enjoyed the pool too!
