Such a delightful experience. The pictures don't really show the amazing woodwork. Super clean and Melissa was very quick to respond. The gardens are just amamzing. My boys loved the lightning bugs at night. The veiw is outstanding and the house is just perfect.

Home away from Home!

This charming cottage is convenient to both Asheville and the Biltmore. The beds are very comfortable! I would recommend saving a little time to just enjoy this cozy cottage - it feels like a home away from home!

Perfection

This place is beyond perfect. Very clean, very cozy, and very peaceful. Communication was exceptional. About halfway through my stay the host contacted me and asked if I needed any additional toilet paper, paper towels, etc. and the next day a bag was on the front porch. The shower was a bit tricky, the hot and cold are reversed, but I got used to it quickly. The beds were very comfortable, and the whole place was well furnished, beautifully decorated, and there was no shortage of throw blankets to cozy up with. This place just feels so thoughtful and personal. If I ever needed somewhere to stay in the area again, this would be my #1 choice.

Wonderful cabin very close to Asheville

We stayed in this wonderful cabin for 3 nights. The architectural and decorative touches in this cabin are simply amazing! So many unusual hand crafted items make perfect decor. The beds are extremely comfortable, the kitchen fully stocked with what you should need for your stay. In front is a beautiful garden filled with flowers, a path to walk through and chair to sit and reflect. The cabin was very clean, the hosts even provided snacks and a bottle of wine. Communication was a breeze, my questions were answered in minutes. There are some houses pretty close to this one, so if you're looking for isolation you might look elsewhere. But for us it was fine as there was peace and quiet in the early mornings and evenings. You can be in downtown Asheville in about 20 minutes, same for Biltmore Estate and a few minutes more for Grove Park.

Awesome Cabin

Awesome Cabin and location with mountain ridge view; Road up slightly rugged. Cabin is very clean, incredible wood work inside. Porch is also a great place to have coffee, or beer & chill with the nice garden and mountain view. This was our second visit. We have had minimal interaction with owner since there was nothing needed. We had quick response to the questions we had last year.

Cool Cabin, nice view

The mountain view is better than the photo's show, the natural wood work in the cabin is awesome. Morning coffee on the porch with mountain view is very relaxing. Access to BR Parkway is great, you can head north or south on parkway to great areas with views and hiking. The landscaping and grounds around cabin is cool too. The fist section of access road is a bit rugged, but there is plenty of room for parking. I expect we may stay here again if available on next trip to the area.

This was our 5 stay in as many years and the cabin never disappoints. There is always a tweak, new sitting area, new chairs and tables on the front porch, new blinds and so on. Could not be more pleased with the cabin.

What a wonderful place. Great location with amazing view. The details in this place will make you sit and admire. Quiet location and close to town. Definitely going to save to my favorites. Host is very responsive.

The pictures do not do this place justice. It is a beautiful, cozy cottage that is clearly well cared for and loved. There are so many little details in the house that impressed us but more than anything, the grounds and the gardens were immaculate and so peaceful. It was a great central location to downtown as well as to hiking, rafting, canyoning, golfing. We enjoyed our stay so much. It was nice being so close to town but being in the middle of a gorgeous setting. It was the perfect place to drink coffee and read a book in the morning on the porch. We can't wait to return.

Amazing little cottage

This place exceeded our expectations. It was so cute and rustic with all the needed amentities and a quiet and relaxing porch and outside tranquility and a sunset view! I hope they keep up the great work with this place and if we go back to Asheville we will definitely book again

Hidden Gem

This was our 3rd visit in as many years and it never disappoints. The cabin is private but close to the many offerings of Asheville and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Every year there is something that has been thoughtfully improved (a new seating area, blinds, pots and pans, etc.) proving that their guest experience is top of mind. I have already booked my stay for next year.

Great Cabin!

I was blown away by how perfect this place was! The views and peaceful setting just minutes from the city life of Asheville was exactly what I was looking for on this vacation. Honestly, the pictures don't do this place justice! Melissa's attention to detail in the interior design was wonderful and created a retreat like setting. We spent more time here than anticipated looking out the large picture window at the mists on the mountains every morning. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well appointed, Melissa was quick to communicate and the self check in was a breeze. You won't regret staying here.

Wonderful retreat

This mountain cabin was beautifully appointed with one-of-a-kind furnishings, comfortable bedding, welcoming front porch, stunning landscaping, and outstanding mountain view. We sat on the porch every chance we could, soaking up the peace and quiet of the cabin's environment. The drive up to the cabin was a little challenging at first, but became a piece of cake after the initial ascent. Any questions we had were answered promptly and clearly. We will return!!!

Better Than The Pictures!

This place was SO cute, i honestly wish we had spent more time hanging out at the house. Walking out the front door, you feel like you're way up on a mountain. Very quiet on a dead end street with your own driveway. Heading out to Asheville was only a few miles away. Everything is close and convenient. The owner communicated very quickly and supplied the house with everything you could think of. If we go back to Asheville, we will definitely stay here again!

Weekend Getaway - Great Location!!

Three of us were on a weekend trip to explore the area. The cottage is located just outside of town in the hills surrounding Asheville. With its central location, we were easily able to visit the Blue Ridge Parkway, Asheville, Black Mountain, Chimney Rock, Hendersonville, and Brevard over the weekend. The cottage was immaculate with everything we needed. Great decor and a nice view from the porch where we enjoyed our morning coffee and an evening beverage. We highly recommend the cottage to anyone looking for a 2 bedroom rental that's outside the city, but still close to everything.

A great spot!!

We had an absolute wonderful stay at this property! The photos do not do it justice - it is truly a beautiful spot. The view was gorgeous in the fall, the property is so quiet and peaceful, and we had everything we needed. The owner communicated clearly regarding check in and such, and cleanliness was top notch! It was nice to feel as though you're far out and secluded while still being on 10-15 minutes from town. I would absolutely stay here again!

Cozy cottage checks all the boxes!

I spent 3 wonderful nights at this cottage while in Western NC to explore the Blue Ridge Parkway. I initially reserved it for 2 nights, but as soon as I walked in the door and looked around, I sent a message to the host requesting a 3rd night! During my stay, I had plenty of time to notice and be amazed by the fact that absolutely nothing in this cottage is out of place
from the rough interior trim to the beautiful wood floors, from the rustic lanterns to the handmade furniture and doors, everything has been lovingly chosen to fit the space. The cottage was also spotless, and the sparsely populated neighborhood where it’s located is extremely quiet
I slept with the windows open and heard nothing at night other than crickets chirping. Finally, Melissa was very quick to respond to my question about adding another night, and very accommodating when I had to change my initial reservations due to an injury. Needless to say, next time I’m planning an overnight visit to Asheville, I’ll check this cottage first to see if it’s available.

Anniversary Trip

We were visiting Biltmore for our anniversary weekend and were looking for something outside of town. The house was super cute and not that far from “civilization.” It had everything we needed and was decorated in a very rustic style. Cute, cute set up and landscaping.

Wonderful property!

We came up for our anniversary, and we couldn't have been happier with the property and the location! It was extremely close to downtown Asheville, and it made ordering food, going to restaurants, or going anywhere so easy! The house was super clean, and we were able to take short walks around the beautiful landscaping:) The only thing I would suggest would be for there to be more pillows with body and filler (i.e. shredded foam, faux feather, etc), as the thin pillows don't provide much support, but this is a personal preference, and I could just bring my own if I wanted to! Overall, I would absolutely stay at this property again, and I will recommend to ANYONE coming to Asheville!!
