This convenient, eclectic, industrial neighborhood is located about 8 minutes from the heart of downtown Asheville! Across from the house is The Mill at Riverside, complete with local artists' studios and High Five Coffee Shop. Just up the way is Woodfin Riverside Park, located directly on the French Broad River with waterside benches and a pedestrian path. You'll be so close to water activities such as floating, paddle boarding, kayaking, and fishing during the warmer months.
Thanks so much for checking out my property! I'm a VRBO premier host and look forward to having you as a guest!
The home was charming, clean, and beautifully decorated. Unfortunately, we only stayed for one night and had to leave early the next morning, so we didn't get to enjoy it as much as we would've liked. It's located on a reasonably busy street for the area, which didn't bother us, but it's something to note for those who might be interested. The owner was a joy to work with.
We had a fantastic stay!! The house was very cute and clean. The location was great and the hostess was super responsive. 10/10, would recommend and we would totally stay here again.
My family and I enjoyed are stay at the Bungalow! The host is very accommodating on letting us have an early check in and late check out for our toddler! There was also a nice backyard fenced in for our dogs to play in! Would definitely stay again
This was an excellent mountain getaway/stay...The Host was easy to get a hold of and excellent...Was able to accommodate an earlier check in as well...The house was super clean and taken care of and excellent outside fire pit...Would recommend to anyone!
This was a good option for us to stay, while attending a family reunion in Asheville. We didnât spend much time at the house, but it was perfect for our family of 3 and our 2 dogs. We did go for walks by the river and visited a nearby pirate playground that our daughter loved. We would stay here again!
Easy check in and overall nice place. Didnât realize it was on a busy street so it was a little noisy. That really was ok with us. Was clean except there was a pot of coffee (full) left behind. We decided to sleep in the back bedroom as it was less noisy but the sheets looked like they hadnât been changed. There was human and dog hair on the sheets.
Everything about this place was great. It was exactly what my daughter and I were looking for during our yearly Asheville trip. It is close to everything we wanted to do and across from the French Broad and small park. We loved it.
We stayed for the evening to see the greatest modern rock band, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard. Wonderful show and an even better rental property! 10/10 We had a fantastic time.
This is a wonderful simple house. I was basically relaxing during the pm and going on hikes during the am
The only negative is itâs hard to back up out of the drive way if you are by yourself
The property was perfect for our short stay. Very clean and well equipped and the communication was outstanding with the owner. Our dog was able to join us and enjoyed the back yard. Only downside was that the street was busy in the mornings and evenings. But would recommend highly.
We booked this place for the weekend because we was seeing a concert at the salvage station, this is about 9 mins from there if that as well as about 8mins from downtown, just a great location. There is a coffee shop close by about .3 miles from the house as well. Place was super nice, clean and loved the backyard for the dogs. 5/5. Would def stay here again for our next show we attend.
The place was nice and very well air-conditioned with a couple of significant cleanliness issues: there was animal hair all over the bedspread in the master bedroom despite house rules about no pets on the bedding, and the shower curtain is overwhelmingly mildewed. We didn't need to communicate with the host, but with all the other positive reviews, I'm certain she would have been responsive and attentive. The space is very nice, and a great location.
My guests and I really loved our visit to Asheville, in large part due to this property. The host was very accommodating, the house had plenty of space, the living room and kitchen were perfect for us, and it was close enough to Asheville for us to visit everything we wanted to see.
The only things I can say that I didnât enjoy about the property were:
- a nasty smell outside coming from the factory across the road (you get used to it but itâs not great)
- The tiny bathroom
- steep driveway
Overall, I definitely recommend this property if youâre looking for an affordable place to stay near Asheville!
Cozy and stylish home convenient to Downtown Asheville!
We had the best stay at Jennicaâs gorgeous and comfortable home! The bed and living space was super comfortable, and I loved the elegant and cozy vibe of the decor. The backyard is just lovely â fully enclosed privacy fence, perfect for our pup. The fire pit and ample supple of wood was also a great feature. We really enjoyed relaxing outside by the fire after a day of fun in Asheville!
The location of this home was very convenient for us. Itâs close to many of the attractions we enjoy. We also loved getting the chance to try out some new places along the river (after having spent most of our time during prior visits in Downtown Asheville). We loved Zillicoah Brewery, White Duck Tack Shop, and the High Five coffee shop â all with serene views of the river.
Many thanks to Jennica for sharing her lovely home with us! We will absolutely be back!
We had a great stay in this home. Fenced in back yard and fire pit where great. We didn't cook so did not pay much attention to the things in the kitchen. House smelled great and was very clean. It warmed up nice and quick as well. Good space. Only couple of issues were the bedspreads were a bit odd and the beds and pillows not super comfortable. It was a great location but right off a road and the parking was on a hill which wasn't a problem since we only had one car but if you had more it would be tricky. The traffic noise was loud since it was right off the road but not a ton of traffic at night. Jennica was very responsive and helpful!
