Camp Como log home transports you to a magical place, where fun and games rule the day! Inside you will find plenty of room to hang out in the two-story log Great Room with wood burning stone fireplace that adjoins an open style eat-in kitchen; or if you prefer, dine on the deck overlooking the peaceful babbling brook and more than an acre of magical forest and woodsy paths. Don’t be surprised if our resident deer families decide to join you! Have fun exploring the property grounds and discovering mysterious artifacts from years gone by… stone fencing, staircases and arched bridges; take a barefoot walk in the spring-fed streams of crystal clear water or relax by the beautiful fire pit surrounded by the gentle sounds of meandering streams. Enjoy yard games on the spacious lawn, rubber duck races in the streams, or hang out in the nostalgic game room to play pool, ping pong, or darts. Take a 2 block walk or hop on the golf cart to explore the mile-long beautiful lake front, with three sandy beaches, beach volleyball, designated swim area, playgrounds, and public boat launch. Bring your boat to explore the 1,000 acres of Lake Como; or use our 4 kayaks instead! After a fun day of adventure, don’t feel like cooking? Amazing time!

Had a wonderful stay with the whole family! Grandkids loved to explore the property, and they especially liked riding the golf cart for a fun day at the beach. Topped the days off with a nice fire and s’mores. A fantastic time had by all!!

Wonderful stay at Camp Como

My wife and I had a fantastic stay at this property. We were impressed the moment we walked in the door. The house is clean, charming, and full of thoughtful accommodations. We loved going kayaking, playing games in the garage and cruising around in the golf cart. Highly recommended!

Camp Como

This home was perfect fr our large family. Very well equipped with everything we needed. The yard was great for the kids. The lake is a few blocks away with nice playground, lots of parking, and an easy boat launch. Camp Como is a winner!

Great adventure

Thank you for sharing your amazing home with our family! We enjoyed the variety of options of things to do and being able to enjoy each other's company without being cramped. We loved the cabin experience within an hour of where we live and you have stocked the cabin with everything and it felt so warm and welcoming! We were not ready to leave!

Relaxing trip

An A+ Family Vacation Stay

Our family had a wonderful experience at Camp Como!The cabin was exactly as it was described and pictured in the promo for Vrbo. It was roomy, but still allowed us to feel like we were at a warm and cozy feeling home. It is full of fun amenities to entertain all ages. The backyard is an adventure waiting to happen. We loved our stay and plan to come back for another Camp Como adventure soon.

The property was very clean and well maintained. The kitchen had good quality utensils and dinner ware. The firepit, grill and table on the porch were used every day. The property is close to many of the activities we enjoyed. The group of 9 was very comfortable and the consensus was we would stay here again.

New year with old friends

We whole-heartedly enjoyed our warm stay at Camp Como! This cabin getaway was welcoming as soon as we opened the door! We were greeted with champaign to toast the new year, and local popcorn. Our host was extremely kind and helpful to our needs! Our group of old friends (most new parents) enjoyed our blissful getaway! What a wonderful experience!

Dream Camp

We couldn’t have asked for more from this VRBO. It was obvious that Jeanne wanted Camp Como to be an outstanding experience for us and it was! Super clean, super fun! The kids were never wondering what to do! The toys, the adventurous property , fire pit and kayaks were all part of the experience that made Camp Como a dream getaway for the 3 generations of our family. We hope to return again and again!

Perfect for all ages

Jeanne's place was perfect for our little getaway! Choosing accomodations has become a little more difficult, as we have a 10 month old and our friends traveling with us have a 2 year old. Jeanne has thought of everything to entertain anybody of any age! We loved the evening golf cart rides, walks to the neighborhood's private beach, and bon fires at night. We easily slept 5 adults and 2 children. The location was also great, close to some cool dive bars on Lake Como and only a 10-15 minute drive to Lake Geneva. The cabin really does have a summer camp feel and we all enjoyed every second of our trip.

Wonderful, family-friendly vacation spot!

We had a great time at "Camp Como" with our family. There were 6 adults and three kids 10 and under in total. The house had all the amenities we could imagine including a golf cart and kayaks! Also, our kids were enamored with the incredible backyard. We couldn't believe they even had their own little makeshift beach! The only thing that was a little tough was the lack of bathrooms. The house can sleep a lot but when there's only one shower and two total toilets, it was a little tricky at times. I'd still recommend to others and visit again. Thank you Jeanne!

The squealing kids was our first impression, this place is great for them. The yard was exactly what they needed. We could see then from the deck and felt they were safe! Hardly any bugs, lots of deer in the yard and a family of raccoons entertained us as we sat at the fire pit. Honestly it was perfect, lots of dishes, pans, utensils for meals. Spices, sugar/flour anything you forgot, was in th cupboard! The lake was lovely. Golf carts were so handy. I heard all weekend—-Gramma we love this place! Thank you for a great experience!

Great Family Vacation

Camp Como is a beautiful home in a woodsy setting. My grandkids, (4,5,&7) loved the tree house, the bunk room, all the games and toys and above all, the golf cart! They enjoyed the duck races and finding toads and frogs in the stream that meanders thru the property. I appreciated the fully stocked kitchen - including spices and some condiments. I loved the early morning view from the bedroom balcony and watching the deer and wild turkeys. Adults and kids all enjoyed the game room. We used the beach twice. If you plan to go swimming in the lake, I suggest bringing watershoes. Jeanne was an excellent host and answered all our questions promptly. Highly recommended!

Getting to the place was simple. You’ll know you’re there because the place looks beautiful with lots of land. Big drive, big enough for two vehicles. Open high living room ceiling, and beautiful decor AND most comfortable couch ever. Kitchen is fully loaded with everything you need from coffee to ice cubes. Rooms were roomy, and comfortable. The entire house was one of the cleanest I’ve seen. Big backyard, great for playing bags. They have kayaks and a lake 2 minutes away. Huge bonfire area. The hosts were amazing. Responded to me immediately and took care of anything I needed and answered all the questions asked. Jeanne was an amazing host and I will 100% be back next year.

Amazing birthday getaway

We rented this cabin to surprise my daughters for their 6th and 9th birthdays instead of throwing a birthday party. It was better than we expected. Very clean. Lots of space. Plenty of towels and dishes. We loved all the extras, from games and toys for the kids, rubber duck and boat races, the entertainment room they made out of the garage was perfect for our rainy day. The kids never got sick of exploring all the trails in the backyard. We were blown away by all the deer in the neighborhood. We loved just cruising around the lake with the golf cart. Jeanne was very responsive when I had questions. She even surprised my girls with a cookie basket and homemade birthday card. So many great things about this property I’m probably forgetting a bunch of things. We had no complaints and will definitely be back.

Family fun

Our family has enjoyed coming to this property twice now. Both times were simple, and fun. The house seemed to be even better this year! Having 5 children running around was made seamless with all the things this property has to offer. As well as how clean and friendly everything and everyone was. If you’re looking for a place to unwind with your family this is the property. Lake Como’s vibe is very chill. Everyone we ran into was so nice. We lucked out with the weather being perfect, but if it wasn’t there is plenty to do in the area. Tack on that Lake Geneva is a stones throw away. It’s perfect. Thank you Jeanne for the excellent stay!

Great house!

Loved the house, location, amenities! Very quaint, lots to do! House was stocked with everything you would ever need. Close to lake and golf cart is a great touch! Would definitely recommend staying here! Hosts were great, easy communication and was right there if we needed anything.

Great Family Vacation Home

Camp Como log home, yard and special features were amazing. The house is extremely clean. The beds were very comfortable. Jeanne thought of so many extras. From the special welcome basket of beer and root beer, so thoughtful! To the numerous personal shower caddies especially handy as there is one main bathroom. Water toys, games, crayons for kids. The yard is spectacular! Our grandkids ages 2-9 loved the beach area. We spent hours there. It was nice for that the adults did not have to pack them up and go anywhere else. The large yard to play ball and the tree house was also great. The garage/playroom was awesome. Everyone spent a lot of time playing ping pong! There are so many wonderful features at this property that made our family vacation very memorable. Looking forward to staying again. Thank you Jeanne.

From our first communication, it was clear that Jeanne is passionate about hosting people. In walking into Camp Como, that passion was palpable. There was something for everyone, including lots of fun and entertainment for the kids.

We loved Camp Como!!

First off, I must say that Jeanne was one of the most accommodating hosts we have ever worked with. The communication was amazing from the get go. This cabin has everything you need. Other cabins we have stayed at didn't even have a salt and pepper mill, but this was like staying in my own home. We had 10 people and we all fit comfortably, 4 children to the bunk beds and each couple had their own room. There were shower caddy's available so it made it easy to avoid cluttering the bathroom, like a true camp! We had below freezing temps and never had to leave the house, the kids played in the den, played darts, pool, and explored in the backyard for hours. They loved using the sleds too! There are also plenty of board games and coloring or puzzles. We want to come back and stay in the summer time! There are a few restaurants close by or a quick 15 minute drive into downtown Lake Geneva for all the shops and other great restaurants. We used the grill to cook steaks for Christmas dinner, there was plenty of wood for a nice fire and then extra fridge space for a bar/cocktails in the heated garage. We really enjoyed working with Jeanne and love their cabin, we would 100% stay again!!

We love sharing our love of Wisconsin with guests from around the region and country.
