Was pleasantly surprised when we arrived. We are traveling with our four kids and was worried we wouldnât have enough space. The apartment felt clean and we had plenty of space for our kids. The layout was great because they had an entire floor to themselves with their own bathroom. The fold out bed is in between the two bedrooms and We moved a fold out bed into one of the other bedrooms.
The only problems we had were the bed in the master bedroom moves and creeks so bad it feels like itâs about to fall apart and the mattress is not comfortable. We would stay again if that was replaced. The other issue is garbage was taken to the curb only once when we were there and we stayed 31 nights.
There are a few maintenance issues, but typical for a 100+ year old brownstone used as a rental.
Neighborhood is amazing, feels safe. Has everything you need and close to subway. Sheila was super helpful with our many requests.
The most exquisite location. A wide, quiet, tree-lined, safe, friendly lovely block. Two minute walk to everything that is charming about Windsor Terrace. This quaint garden apartment in a traditional limestone.
I can't say enough. I raised my children in this amazing area of Brooklyn. It is a small enclave nestled between two historical huge green spaces -- Prospect Park and Greenwood Cemetery (take the tour!). It is pretty much Park Slope in that it is around the corner and you have access to everything there, but you barely need to leave the few blocks that is Windsor Terrace, because it provides highly rated restaurants, groceries, farmers market, bank, post office, movie theater, etc...And less than a block's walk from this apartment gets you on the F train (15th street station) -- for a day in Manhattan...or a day a the beach, Coney Island.
