Great Location

This property was ideal for a large group. We had lots of room and loved the location. It's in a beautiful neighborhood with easy access to the subway and busses. It was easy walking to the market, wine shop and restaurants.

perfect in every way!

The home was even more beautiful than pictured, and everything was exactly as expected. Arrival and departure were easy, and the owner was very accommodating. I would highly recommend this space to anyone considering it!

Spacious home in Brooklyn.

We loved staying at this property. There was plenty of room for all of us and there was both a hot tub and pool which are both much more spacious in real life than they look in the pictures. The property manager was both welcoming and helpful and we appreciated her presence when we needed her. Thanks for letting us stay!

Beautiful home in superb neighbourhood

It is a beautiful house with all modern amenities and large enough to comfortably accommodate the ten (6 adults and 4 children) of us. The neighbourhood is peaceful and impressive with its brownstone houses and tree lined avenues. Yet banks and shops are near and with the subway so is Manhattan. Walking into Manhattan over the Brooklyn bridge is just over an hour but magnificent.

Beautiful and Confy

Property very clean and full of amenities, great for a large party. Jacuzzi and Swimming pool is perfect and very well thought as far as location etc. Great Brooklyn location ( Better part of Brooklyn ) Deborah was very kind and always reply to my msgs regardless the time i've reached out to her. Definitely recommend it to a friend, relative or to anybody. Im definitely coming back. Matter of factIi already schedule another stay for the middle of November. I guess i can call it my Brooklyn home.

Awesome Brookyln visit!

The rental was perfect for the 8 of us who came into town for my Uncle's memorial. We rented for 3 nights and having 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and a complete kitchen was wonderful. We enjoyed the porch and back yard as well as the living room and even watched the NBA game 7 of the east finals last night. We walked to the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens and took our grandson to the Brooklyn Zoo as well. The house is in a magnificent neighborhood with beautiful trees and housing and lots of great restaurants. It was a 25 minute ride to the memorial at my cousin's place in Manhattan, West Village. I only wish we had more time to spend at this location!!

Spacious Place in Great Neighborhood

This is really a lovely townhouse w/ a very gracious backyard. It is in a little bit rougher shape than the photos indicate, but nothing that should give you pause. The living space is generous to say the least, especially for anything in New York, and there are plenty of amenities within short walking distance. The subway isn't terribly convenient, but it isn't terrible - about a 15 minute walk away. It served us extremely well for our family of 7 coming in for my daughter's graduation from NYU. The only downside is the house is a family home & is not terribly well setup for renters. You will find virtually all of the cabinets closed w/ blue tape telling you not to open. I completely understand the owner's desire for privacy, but it tends to get a little awkward and I feel there should be a few more things provided for the renters, especially in the kitchen. All in all, however, it's a great place. I'd go back.

Wonderful trip and a large spacious place to stay

There were 7 of us needing a place to stay during our visit to Brooklyn and NYC. We were not disappointed. The pictures tell the story. While we didn't spend a lot of time in the home due to sightseeing, we were all very comfortable when we were in the home. The property was clean and the neighborhood was attractive. There are some wonderful bodegas for groceries and restaurants for good dining. The various subway stations are within reasonable walking distance. We either used the train or Uber to get around. Whenever I had a question I got an immediate response via email and was fortunate to meet Starr who works below the unit and could answer any questions for the area. The beds were comfortable except for the pullout couch upstairs in the loft but that was okay since we only had 7 people staying in the house. Everything else was just as written. I wished we had had more time to enjoy the nice backyard! Would we stay there again if we were to travel with a large group....YES! Thanks for sharing your home and making our visit to see my son and nephew a very pleasant experience!

Needs major upgrades to have good renting standards.

Although the home is spacious and in a great neighborhood it needs some major upgrades and changes in order to meet even a standard level for a decent rental. The personal effects of the owners all over the place was awkward and not something I’m used to as a frequent renter. They even left their items in the refrigerator which I find strange. Why not have a refrigerator in your garage or somewhere so you can move your items there during rentals? Also we had trouble locating towels which is usually standard in a rental home. The towels we did locate were tattered and in bad condition. We even asked the supposed property manager (who I suspect is the owner) if she could buy some towels from target because we couldn’t find hardly any. The shower caddy in the master bathroom is rusted and dirty to the point you can’t put your soap on it. And the shower curtains in the other bathrooms were dingy and needed replacing. The other items in the master bathroom looked dusty and old like they hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. None of the TVs in the bedrooms worked and they are outdated. The television in the living room didn’t work either and a lady showed up and worked on it for over an hour to get it working again. There was a man who looked homeless, repeatedly seen lurking in the backyard. After while we assumed he lived there in some capacity but he never formally introduced himself and we were never told he would be there. The closets and drawers were closed/locked up or had blue tape so we had no where to put our clothing in the bedrooms. Most homes allow you places to hang and put your clothing away. Also, the bedskirts on several of the beds were filthy, leaving us to question whether the rest of the bedding was freshly laundered. The stairs in the home are dangerous also. They’re slippery with no grip strips. One of my friends fell down the stairs and hurt herself while we were there. Honestly cosmetically the home needs a desperate makeover. They’re charging a lot of money to rent this home so the least the owners could do is invest in nice bedding, towels, dishes, paint the walls and make the place look decent and sanitary. The exposed TV wires, dirty bedskirts, dingy curtains throughout the house, unsafe stairs, no instruction manual, excessive off-limit areas, worn out linens and towels were disappointing. And the owners should consider having less of their personal effects around the house so renters can feel at home.

We can’t make everyone happy, and this home is not for everyone, especially at a discounted February rate. With this review, it is clear that it is best to stick to our rate and client standards even if the home remains empty and just for our personal use. Thanks for your feedback!

Points positifs : Installation facile Lieu de vie spacieux et confortable Quartier commerçant et agréable Points négatifs : Literie du 3ème étage de mauvaise qualité (taille, matelas, linge de lit, dessus de lit troué). 2 salles de bains sur 3 exiguës . Dommage qu’une plus grande souplesse ne soit pas proposée pour entreposer les bagages le jour du départ en cas de retour en fin de journée.

It was our first time in New York for my husband's birthday and the house was amazing!! enough room for all for couples plus a friend very open and spacious. Backyard and pool amazing area perfect & you are literally walking distance from whatever it is that you may need our host was there whenever we gave her a message and we will most definitely book again for the next New York trip.

This house is perfect -- so much room, great location, yard, pool, well appointed -- just great for family time. We booked for a wedding we were attending and it was even better than expected. Staff (especially Star!) were so helpful and owners very responsive. You will love it.

Great for family or friends gatherings

We found this home to be perfect for 7 adults and one child. The layout on 3 floors with bathrooms worked very well. Enough room to spread out when taking a break from each other. We found the kitchen very adequately stocked with dishes,etc. there were amenities such as toilet paper and such in abundance. We didn’t need to go shopping for basics. And the extra bonus was the backyard and the deck. That I This is also the owner’s home didn’t bother us at all. Be aware though that the 2 bedrooms on the second floor have closets but not dressers. We were ok with that for our 5 day stay

Incredible Clinton Hill Home

We LOVED our stay at this beautiful Clinton Hill home. Deborah was the perfect host -- attentive and easy to communicate with. Place was exactly as pictured -- comfortable, great location, all the amenities, and perfect for our family trip to NYC. The kids thought it was the coolest home they had ever seen. We highly recommend Deborah and her place for anyone interested in having all the luxuries while staying in Brooklyn. Thank you Deborah! We hope to return someday.

Great space for large family or get together

The great: Amazing 1st floor for large groups to hang out together. Large living room, large dining table, open kitchen with seating at countertop. Nice area with lots of nearby restaurants and stores. A/C worked well, which was key in August! Very large master bedroom and bathroom. The okay: Note that there are steep stairs and an open stairwell going from the 2nd to 3rd floor (two bedrooms and one bathroom on 3rd floor). It was fine for the younger adults and older kids, but probably not great for older adults and very young kids. The bad: We had hoped to use the pool and had no advanced notice that it would not be available, but it was not available to use while we were there. Note that the hot tub is not available for guests (doesn't seem like it it ever available for guests so don't plan to use.) Also, we saw a mouse in the living room while we were there!! Sounds like previous guests spotted it as well.

Lovely home with plenty of room for everyone. Loved the open layout on the main floor.

The pool was an added bonus. It was a good location for us. Plenty of restaurants near by. The only issue if I had to bring up one was the furniture is a little tired especially in the family room. We enjoyed our stay and would book again.

We are sure to come back in this house

I spent ten days in New York with my family and friends, from December 28th to January 7th 2018, and after every freezing day around the city we were glad to be back at evening in a nice, quiet, warm and confortable home. The house is really large and spacious, exactly as pictured. As a group of 11 people we had lots of room. It was clean at the arrival and there was good supply of sheets, blankets and towels. All the instructions we need to run the house (check-in/ check-out, heater, allarm set, keys), and even suggestion for where to eat or order food, or stuff to do and see, were written in a folder, ready for us. The subway is a 10/15 minutes walk away and it takes about 40 minutes to go to Manhattan. Deborah was really helpful and always quick to respond messages. We had some issues with the heater but it was quickly fixed even if it was the 1st of January. And when the frontdoor stairs were stuffed with snow a man came twice to clear them. Our only regret was that we could not enjoy the courtyard and the outdoor pool due to the season With a late flight out of New York it was also kindly allowed us to enjoy a late check out. Thank you for letting us stay in your house.

Very nice property. Owner accurately described it.

Property was large enough to accommodate our three grown children and spouses for Thanksgiving dinner. Nice kitchen and large dining table. Well located with restaurants and groceries a block away. The house was clean upon arrival and checkout instructions were easy.

Great for a large party

We were a group of 9 (including 2 children) attending daughter's wedding. It is in a great location close to Myrtle Avenue with its wide range of cafés and restaurants. The first floor large room and kitchen is excellent for drawing the group together and was ideal for us all to eat and relax and for discussing the wedding preparations. Great outside sunny balcony leading off the main room. All in all it was a great find and convenient for us to hang out in such a large space and we would recommend it. The property manager was very friendly and helpful. minor points: you are conscious that you are living in someone else's house (particularly the crowded fridge); the outside barbecue was unusable/unhygienic; quite a few liquid spills on the walls which could be dealt with; more instructions needed on how to turn down the heat

Great place

Great time with excellent hosts. Had an amazing class weekend with a group of 9. Everything was amazing except for the 3rd floor rooms are very crammed and one room is actually a small office with a pullout couch. The first floor and living room/ kitchen were without a doubt the best part of the house and brought our group together like a family for the long weekend. Thank you, we would definitely recommend to anyone! Also in a very warm and friendly neighborhood close to everything!

Completely Amazing!!!

It is always special to be in New York for New Years! We decided to experience the event first hand as college friends and family to enjoy together for the first time and we had a glorious time! Ms. Deborah was always available for questions that we had with her home and we truly enjoyed. The home is only footsteps to dining and food shopping. We were so excited to have a great Sunday dinner at the home that made the experience more grand for all of us. PROBLEM

nous avons eu un problème avec le four qui ne fonctionnait pas. Pour le diner de Noel, nous n'avons pas pu cuisiner de viande ni faire cuire la buche dans le four. Une personne est venue mais n'a pas pu résoudre le problème En conséquence, je vous demande de bien vouloir nous adresser un virement compensatoire
