Condo was clean and tidy. We stayed many times at the same complex so we know what to expect. This is one of the cleanest unit compare to some we stayed before. Property manager was responsive. Overall a great stay.

Great vacation

Everything worked and was clean. Didn't have any problems except for a loud family above us for a couple of nights, buts that's to be expected sometimes.

The area is awesome and fishing off the back boat docks while waiting on others to organize was a great distraction.

Perfect little getaway

I loved everything about the rental. Bed was so comfortable and even my daughter and granddaughter said sofa sleeper was comfortable. Pool needed a little cleaning, I looked for a net to just clean out the leaves but not one in sight. Didn't ruin our time at the pool though. Hot tub was too dirty to try but no biggie. Had a great stay!

My only issue is the sofa pillows did have some odor and could be washed. The parking was clear in the description, however, the marking of certain spots could be marked with bigger signs. The space was perfect for the two of us along with pool and fishing location. I'd stay again and would recommend.

Neat place!

We really enjoyed our time here. The property was super clean and we fished every day from the docks. It was so nice being able to walk out the patio door and throwing a line in the water. We found extra towels and blankets in the bedroom closet so that was a plus. Close to everything you would need on the island. The only thing that was a drawback was the ashtray outside hadn’t been cleaned out from the last stay and it sounded like there was a herd of elephants upstairs. The elephants upstairs weren’t the fault of the property owners by any means and they couldn’t do anything about that to begin with. Still, even with the elephants above us, we would totally stay here again. Can’t beat the location and literally being able to fish right out the back door.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Finding the unit was easy and plenty of parking. The unit was clean for the most part besides a couple cockroaches that we killed over our stay. The bathtub was a nightmare and by far the slipperiest with about a 5 inch flat spot on the bottom. If you have kids, definitely don’t stay here, as they can’t even take a bath because there isn’t a drain stopper and after our daughter face planting the first night in there, she scream scared to get back in. Accident waiting to happen.The water front is nice but the air is filled with marijuana smoke at all times of the day with people smoking it on their balconies and standing around fishing and smoking. Not a good spot for kids.

Reviewer Comments: We experienced several issues with quality of cleaning from utensils, dirty in the drawers to dirt and build up on the stove and other areas, of course water bug roaches on the wall the shower stall liner is very small and unsteady no rails to catch hold of uneven bottom of the tub sink drain not working properly in bathroom. I notified management group that the signs for tow away If not properly part, had midinformation on them. And we misleading, which I called the management company about and reported why it was never remedied before me was unexplainable

At check-in, we inform our guests that open parking is available in the angled parking area not labeled or assigned to specific units. Fun Birthday Getaway on the Corpus/Port A Coast!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great extended weekend stay for my husband's birthday. The rental was clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfy including the pillows. The place was very clean. We only went to the pool once for 1/2 hour, but seemed nice. The location was nice. Perfect location--centrally located to either drive to downtown Corpus Christi which was enjoyable or to Port Aransas. Also beach parks close by: Whitecap beach was very nice and enjoyed the beach next to Packery Channel. The water was beautiful, especially next to the channel, even saw many sea turtles hanging out at the channel because the water was so beautifully clear. After checking out, we cruised on down to Port A to Winton's Island Candy Shop (highly recommended) and then to the Sip Yard for lunch and drinks...wish we could have stayed for the band. Very popular and very cool music venue with 3 outdoor levels, covering from sun on the first and second floors with beautiful views of marna. Very highly recommend and will be back to visit the Sip Yard when we can stay for the band. Probably best to stay nearby, traffic can get thick. Final stop on the way home was the Boiling Pot for Shrimp, sausage, corn and cold beer. All in all....a great trip with great accomodations.

Do not recommend this unit

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. Reviewer Comments: 1. if you enjoy watching movies at the end of the day, bring a roku or fire stick as the condo only has local channels. 2. bedroom TV had no cable reception 3. Dryer doesn't work well, had to run it 5 times to dry our clothes4. We had a problem with late night noisy neighbors for 3 nights in a row which was not addressed by the hoa despite complaints 5. found trash and dirty socks behind the dresser in the bedroom6. visible mold around AC vents

Thank you for your feedback, this is certainly not up to our normal standard. There has been an issue with the cable which have worked with the HOA on addressing and has since been addressed. We have had an appliance repair person address the dryer too. Fortunately the neighbors change out regularly so the noisy neighbors were there for just a short time. We have addressed your housekeeping concerns with that department as well. Thank you again for your feedback, we will do better going forward.

North Padre Condo

Very nice condo, perfect for a small family of 3-4. Everything was great. A forewarning for those who like it cold in the condo, the AC can’t go lower than 70. It wasn’t a big issue since my stay was during the fall and part of winter, but on the days where it got into the upper 80’s, it felt a little warm inside for my liking. Other than that, a great condo in a great location.

Wonderful Retreat for our Anniversary

My husband loves to fish and I thought it would be a great way to get in fishing in the early morning and late eve and then spend the day at the beach. It was perfect! He did pretty good fishing and the place was clean and comfortable. No complaints at all. We had what we needed and then some. We are allready planning a trip for my husband and son to use the same

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay was great. Condo was very clean. Walked into a cool condo with music playing. Padre Escapes was very easy to book through. The only disappointment was I received a text and email informing us the condo was available for an additional night and to respond if we were interested. We responded by both means but never received a reply back so we checked out on our scheduled day. Other than that, it was great and would rent again.

Worked well

The communication with the property management company was exceptional. We did have a boat with us. The parking on the street was very tight. The only option to park a boat was off site. We did not use this option - therefore, cannot speak for or against this option. The condo was clean and well stocked. The air conditioner worked. There is a fan in the closet -but it was broken. Thankfully we didn’t need it. Our only complaint is that the bedrooms carpet was full of grass burrs as are the mats at both the front and back door. I removed as many as I could - but kept finding more. Kept sandals on when walking around the bedroom. The pull out couch sleeping option in the living room was not a pleasant sleeping option. The mattresses were entirely too uncomfortable. My 17 year old was miserable. He spent the weekend on the couch - not using the pull out mattress. If you are only sleeping two adults in the master and have small children for the living room couch - this condo should be fine.
