The home consists of 4 units 2 upstairs & 2 downstairs, all consist of 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, living room, dining room, and kitchen. It is located on a pristine private sandy beach which is several miles long. This unit is located downstairs. Must climb stairs - Approximately 4 steps leading to the porch entrance. It is non-smoking and not suitable for pets.

Amenities include:

We were back at the Parrot for our second year. Jacinta literally welcomed us with open arms (and a nice big hug!) We enjoyed our the stay on the beach despite the unusually cold weather. Great unit, people and location. We've already booked next year! Thanks Albertha and Jacinta!

The place was perfect!! Easy to get to from the airport. The host was there to greet us at check-in and was very informative. Comfortable chairs in the porch, and just a few steps to the beautiful white sand beach. Everything worked perfect. Cold air and nice shower. Can’t wait to come back!!!

A beautiful place on the beach

The place is perfectly located in the middle of great Exuma and is close to everything. The manager was wonderful and super welcoming. BEAUTIFUL view of the water form the livingroom :)

Relax in paradise

We had a wonderful experience in Exuma. Jacinta took great care of us and gave us great tips. The beach where the house is located is wonderful. It really is a paradise to relax. One week was enough to do the tours and get to know the other beaches. Having a car is essential. And having food options at home is also essential, since Exuma does not have many restaurant options and opening hours are restricted.

Little piece of heaven

This place was so amazing. Location was great so close to everything. The space was perfect size and had everything we needed, plenty of towels and beach toys and chairs. Kitchen was well stocked with supplies. Only thing that we would change is to get a new coffee maker the one there doesn’t seem to work well. A walk thru bug screen for the double doors would be awesome so u can keep the doors open and bugs out. And access to a washer and dryer would be great but other wise this place was so great we will definitely be back

Great location and accommodations!

We stayed at Henry Louise and the Parrot for a few days. Our trip was delayed a day due to weather problems at home. Albertha our hostess was very accommodating and understanding. We also arrived late due to a mechanical problem on the plane, and again, it was not a problem. Jacinta met us and showed us the unit. She was very nice and we felt very welcome.The unit is in a great location, central to both Georgetown and the Northern beaches on the island. We couldn't ask for a nicer view and setting for the unit. The bedroom was large and the king-sized bed very comfortable. There is plenty of space for a couple. The kitchen, dining and living areas are open and inviting.We loved our stay there and have already booked for next year! We can highly recommend this VRBO!

Wow! We will be returning!

I don’t believe we’ve ever stayed in a more perfect place. Communication with the host was so easy and this place is centrally located, so you can’t go wrong. We loved having a cooler, beach towels and the convenience of a kitchen. Plenty of games, books, great TVs and most importantly, great air conditioning! I simply cannot say enough good things about this place. When I say there was nothing we found lacking, I really mean it. We had our coffee on the porch every morning and just marveled at the beauty of the beach right in front of us. It’s absolutely perfect for 2 people and with the layout and large bedroom, we never felt cramped. Everything is so well thought out with the unit, we had everything we needed for our stay. Thank you SO much for allowing us to enjoy your place; it truly is AMAZING!! We hope to return for many, many years in the future.

Great all around

It is Exuma and it’s our first time. We didn’t know what to expect. The house is really close to the airport so that was good. We rented a car and driving on the left took a little time to get used to. Jacinta met us at the house showed us everything and how to work all the remotes. We had no issues the 5 days we stayed. The house is in a great location and sits on a really nice beach. It is a 4 plex unit and we were there by ourselves half the trip so that was a bonus. We are looking to rebook this same house next year. Cheers!

Great time at Henry Louise and the Parrot

We stayed 9 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. The unit was as advertised. The location is central and close to everything if you have a car. It is just a few minutes east/south of the airport road. The beach is right there in front of the porch, per photos, and it is a fabulous beach. The neighbouring properties are private houses also, so very few people around. Sitting there watching the waves was very relaxing. There are two beach chairs provided. It is a public, unmaintained beach so if you are used to sanitized beaches at all-inclusives, know that there is seaweed washed up on the beach and there are sandflies/ no-see-ums so bring bug spray. The kitchen was well equipped for making our own food. Albertha was very responsive to our questions before and during our stay. I would stay here again.

Perfect location home base

If you want the overall perfect location, this is it. If you want to cook in they have an awesome grill. Right down the road is prime island meats that has the best seafood and meats on the island. If you want to go out it's right in the middle of the island so everything is within distance. You role down the steps and the beach is right there. The ocean is the perfect colors of blues, changing colors throughout the day. The house itself has all your needs. The house is a true beach house vibe. Every detail was thought about. Even made the driveway to turn around easy! And they are at your attention if you need any answers. We studied many spots to stay around the islands and we are so glad we chose Henry Louise and the Parrot! Thank you. It's was a trip of a lifetime for my wife and I.

Idyllic location

My wife and I decided against staying on New Providence because we wanted a more peaceful and authentic Bahamas location. Coming from the UK, this required taking an additional Bahamasair flight from Nassau to Georgetown. Well worth it. Exuma has one main road from top to bottom (Querns Highway) and this property is directly on that road. So if you rent a car (recommended because there didn’t seem to be a bus service) it’s hard to get lost. Our flight from Nassau was delayed so we arrived too late to meet the host. However communication with the owner was good so no problem accessing the property. The property itself is a beautiful old style house that has been divided into four apartments, two on the ground floor and two above. This apartment is on the ground level with a veranda and literally right on the beach. For most of our stay, we were the only occupants. Someone else stayed on the first floor for some of the 8 days we stayed but that was no problem. It is spacious, tastefully decorated, good hot shower, two air conditioners, ceiling fans, good wifi, cooking facilities and big fridge, large double bed. I took a large mosquito dome to sleep in (had problems previously in Barbados) but didn’t need it. Only encountered mosquitoes around the property one time at dusk but hardly any, and none came in the house. The beach is amazing. It looks like a screensaver and is only accessible from other properties that front onto that stretch of beach. Quiet and idyllic

Beautiful Beach -TAR Bay

The apartment was well equipped w/ neat kitchen and great seating and relaxing areas. Bed was comfy and the front porch was amazing looking out onto the Beach and Turquoise clear water. Literally 8 steps to the Beach! Loved this VRBO. Albertha was very kind and easy to work with.
