The Space:
Important note before you book: Guests are required to complete the Check-In Form provided by Brigadoon Vacation Rentals as a mandatory step to finalize their reservation. To ensure a smooth check-in process, a valid government-issued photo ID must be attached to the form.

On the west side of Port Angeles, this fresh 2 bedroom/1 bath cottage has been remodeled. New furnishings and decor, it is a wonderful home base for experiencing all the Northwest has to offer. It is a mere 20 minute drive to the Salt Creek Rec Area for wide sandy beaches, picnics, kayaying and tidepooling. Also 30 minutes from Lake Crescent for waterfall trails and lake kayaking.

Inside, relax in the warm and inviting living area with new, comfy furniture, streaming TV entertainment, and free Wifi. Enjoy making meals in the beautiful, well equipped kitchen, complete with pots and pans, range, oven, microwave and fridge. The two bedrooms have one queen and one with a full. The hall bath has a tub/shower combo with all towels provided. Washer and dryer. The back yard is fully fenced, good sized lawn, large pear tree, plus a new gas grill and seating.

*This is a pet friendly property; please inquire with weight, breed and training of your dog for consideration. Additional pet fee of $100 per booking will be requested at the time of booking. 2 dogs max. Our Pet policy will be required to be signed at the time of check in.

A discount of 10% off for 6-9 nights and 15% off for 10 nights or more will automatically apply at booking. If you booked via Airbnb, the discount will already be included in the price and will not show as a separate deduction. If you booked via VRBO, please ask us to apply the discount to your stay. For longer stays between 21-28 nights, we'll set up a mid-stay cleaning free of charge, and an additional $260 non-refundable fee will be applied to cover up to $3,000 in damage insurance, ensuring peace of mind during your extended stay.

We loved our stay at the Hidden Chicken! The decor was super cute and the home was stocked with everything… dishes, pans, extra fans, hair dryer, coffeemakers, iron, washer/dryer, games and more. Perfect place to use as a base for Olympic National Park. Downtown Port Angeles is not walking distance, but a very quick drive. We would stay again!

We had a great time, the house was beautiful and nicely remodeled. There were bunny’s all over the neighborhood we were in, it was so cute! Very peaceful as well. Recommend

This home is attractive, incredibly clean and providing every convenience. We enjoyed the patio table and our dog was inthralled with the wild bunnies.

This was a beautiful home! Location was incredible with water and mountain views. Able to drive around the area easily. The house itself was clean with lovely decor.

Busy noisy road

As a solo traveler i didn't care for parking on busy road, not any neighbor parked on street they all park behind their homes, so i did that but there was no lighting in back on alley. Then the latch on back gate was wonky and i had to walk thru lawn to back door, its really wet.The house has a black spider problem and black pissants were a problem, i kept the raid nearby, also spider webs in corner of ceilings. The house is well equiped everything you need is there.The lockbox on arrival was horrible very tricky to operate, a coded door wood be an improvement. One front porch light is out.Overall would recommend with modifications. Personally i wont be back. Too noisy for me and parking is horrible.

Nice but not dog friendly

The house was nice but expensive for one couple and two small for two. Only about 7-10 days before our arrival did we receive a contract to sign about all the things our dog could not do or else.

Family Trip to Olympic National park

We had a great time touring Olympic National park. Port Angeles was the perfect base and we enjoyed our stay at the Hidden Chicken. Nice and updated home was lovely.

Perfect spot for travels around Olympic

Very cute house! Great big windows in the common areas to let in plenty of light and from which to see the water out front at the mountains out back. While everything is a drive for Olympic, this place provided a perfect spot to serve as our home base. Our favorite “amenity” was the adorable family of wild bunnies in the back yard. They provided plenty of entertainment.

Lovely stay

Clean, comfortable, quiet peaceful neighborhood. Felt safe. Plenty of towels and daily supplies. We found the “Hidden Chicken”and enjoyed watching the neighborhood bunnies. Loved our time there!

Best ever!

Beautiful cottage! Had absolutely everything you could want and was decorated perfectly with a great fenced backyard filled with blooming flowers. 5 min to ferry and town but walkable if you like a longer walk. Beautiful sunrise view from the living room and a Mountain View from the back with a cute nook if it’s too chilly to sit outside. Great storage for longer stays and nice laundry. My only regret is that we were so busy touring we didn’t have enough time to enjoy the cottage.

Very Cosy felt like home

This was a perfect stay, as we had told the property manager that we were moving from Washington to Alabama it was perfect for my mother-in-law, my husband, myself and our three dogs very cute place. I will let all of my friends who visit Washington the Olympic peninsula to check out the VRBO. It is super cute loved watching all the bunnies in the backyard and even heard the story about the hidden chicken from the neighbor next-door thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home

Cute little home

The house was great! All remodeled and new. Everything you need they had, we had family members over for dinner and didn't lack anything to cook dinner. The back yard was great and we sat out side and enjoyed the sunshine. The coffee shop down the street had amazing coffee and breakfast sandwiches if you need something before leaving town! I would stay here again and would recommend it to anyone!

Visit to Olympic National Park

The property was just about perfect. Everything was clean and well equipped. Even the neighbors are friendly! You should have the same mattress in the second bedroom as you have in the master. My adult children didn't really like that mattress but the master was great. Also, the sliding barn doors don't work for bathrooms. (Lack of privacy) A full door would be appreciated. Thank you again for the super stay.
