Living furniture needs to be replaced

The unit was clean and available for check in early. Our complaint is the sofa was is very worn and uncomfortable. The cushions sank into the frame when sat on. The large recliner pictured in the ad was not in the unit. A reclining chair with an ottoman was there in its place. The listing made specific reference to the sumptuous furniture which was not sumptuous at all.

Weekend getaway

We checked in on Thursday after hours and checked out on Sunday when the office was closed. Both processes were super easy and efficient. The office was great about contacting us to make sure we knew where to go and what to do. The room exceeded our expectations in all ways! The location was close to so many attractions and made going places a breeze. We'll definitely choose to stay at Whispering Pines again!!

Dollywood tickets means one ticket will not ever come back

Not worth the price per night because I thought we all four got Dollywood tickets but we only got one ticket. Coming back the week of Christmas but will not be staying here!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was very clean and nicely decorated. It is very close to everything which is very nice. It was very quiet. We enjoyed our stay. The recliner was broken and the couch was worn out. The mattress needs replaced. You roll to the middle bad. Needs better lighting in the bedroom. Also recommend grab bars for the tub. Extremely dangerous for older people. Nothing to hold on to. We went to Walgreens and bought the suction grab bars and used them and they worked well for us. With a few upgrades the condo would be perfect! We enjoyed our stay!

Clean but Dated

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed several times at Whispering Pines, but this was our first stay in this unit (431). While we found the unit to be very clean and appreciated the Christmas decor including the lovely tree, the unit appeared to be a bit dated in parts. For example, the microwave did not warm well so reheating leftovers and making hot chocolate took much longer than usual. The kitchen also appeared to be missing items. The posted list listed items we could not find such as 6 bowls (we only found 4). The pillows were hard (thankfully, we brought our own)and the blankets provided were light considering the season. We ended up using some of the blankets for the pull out sofa as well. Overall, it was clean and met our immediate needs for the stay, but we would not look to stay in this particular unit again unless it was all that was available.

Home away from home

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was clean and met our needs. However, I would recommend a little more counter space in the bathroom. Maybe a small table for ladies toiletries. I would also recommend an extra blanket for the sofa bed. One blanket was not sufficient for staying warm and one packet of laundry soap would be nice for washing a load of towels while there. Most places provide this.
