Family trip

My sister and I surprised our parents with this little trip to the mountains for Christmas. No husband's, kids, or grandkids, just the four of us. Had a wonderful time and enjoyed the condo.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were very pleased with the rental unit that we stayed in. It was very clean. We could tell that the owners of the unit took great care in decorating the unit, providing a comfortable bed, providing a well equipped kitchen with quality coffee pot, toaster, and other items. If there could be one thing that I would recommend it would be a set of bed pillows that are soft and not so big (thick).

Weekend getaway

The condo itself was wonderful, it was clean and in a great location. The bed was not comfortable but other than that the condo itself was nice. My issue is with the free passes. The only reason we stayed at this condo was to enjoy the free pass to Dollywood and Dolly’s Stampede. When we got into Pigeon Forge I learned both were still closed. Our family is going back to Pigeon Forge the end of June. I contacted the company that handles the free tickets in hopes I could get the vouchers for the free tickets extended until we go back to Pigeon Forge. The gentleman I spoke to basically said sorry, you can go to Mama’s Farmhouse or the aquarium (which closed at 5:00 and I made the phone call at 4:30). If we knew we were not going to get free passes that we could use we would not have paid as much as we did to spend two nights at the condo. We could have found a place that was less expensive. Because of this, I would not recommend staying at this location.

Reflection and starting over

For years we always wanted to get away for Thanksgiving but he was always afraid to take off because of his job (he worked for VDOT). I knew the holidays would be hard on my little family so we chose to get away. This little place was exactly what my family needed. I had space to have time to myself if I needed and also enjoy the kids.

First home away experience. Met my expectations fully. Clean, adequate for our needs. Bed was comfortable. Only thing I could say that was negative would be the pillows( too flat) and the hot tub( not hot) but that doesn’t effect my choice or plan to use again. Overall a positive experience for our vacation

Pigeon Forge/ Gatlinburg Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First rental experience didn’t know what to expect. Arrived and found condo clean and ready for our stay. Office staff prompt and courteous. Pictures and description online were true and accurate. Met my expectations. Only negatives during our stay were the one set of pillows were really flat and not to our liking but able to swap for one that we did like and the community hot tub was not hot. It was clean and jets worked but the temp was what I would consider cool and just above the pool temperature. Would have been nice to have some heat to relax ourselves from the long drive there.
