The Chalet at Bear Lake is located on the northwest side of beautiful Bear Lake, and has amenities galore. Enjoy the gorgeous view of the sunrise over the lake from the covered deck and patio, enjoy the turquoise water during downtimes between your adventures, and watch the moon rise in the evening at our fire pit. While you are at your home away from home, take advantage of barbecuing on the deck using the gas grill, cooking in the full kitchen with key tools at your disposal (and dinnerware for up to 24 people), and relaxing while enjoying the view from the couches upstairs and downstairs, or on either the deck or patio. The kitchen also has a griddle, toaster, crock pot, Kitchen Aid, coffee maker, and pots and pans. There is also a high chair included for those traveling with sweet little ones.
Let your kids play at the kids' park within full view of the deck and patio, or let them play in the yard with one of many yard and other games provided for your convenience, including Spikeball, cornhole, giant Jenga, frisbee, card games, board games, puzzles, and dice games. Better yet, play with them--they are only young once, and you're creating memories that will last a lifetime! You can also go to the garage for an intense ping pong tournament as well!
There is a sports court within a 5 minute walk, and we provide pickle ball equipment, basketballs, and tennis rackets/balls for your pleasure. There are also 4 kayaks (2 adult, 2 child) and lots of life jackets. Bring your own infant life jacket to ensure it fits well and your baby is safe. We also have 4 adult bikes for your use. We're working on kids' bikes!
The Chalet is located in The Reserve, a private gated community that provides many free amenities including: private lake access (remember that this is a natural lake that supplies water to the surrounding communities, and water levels fluctuate depending on the time of the year and water use: it is more ideal at some levels), 2 pools, splash pad, hot tub, tennis and pickleball courts, basketball courts, exercise room, kidâs playground, and more (these are all within walking distance). The clubhouse is also within walking distance (approximately 400 meters away), right next to the sports courts, and has many additional amenities including a foosball table, BBQ grill, kitchen, and much more.
The master bedroom on the main floor is very spacious with room for a pack and play (provided) and floor sleepers if needed (king size bed in this room). The other main level bedroom has a queen bed with a child sized bunk for little ones (bunk bed size 27" x 63"). The third bedroom has a queen bed with a twin bunk with a trundle bed. The fourth bedroom has a queen bed with a twin XL bunk. The fifth bedroom has a twin over full bunkbed and a twin bunkbed.
The living room area space is cozy, with lots of opportunity for closeness for large groups if desired! There is also great opportunity for reconnecting on the deck and patio.
Not that you will need it, but the cabin offers 2 televisions with satellite TV, a DVD player, and wireless internet as well.
