Welcome to Lazy Bear Lakehouse! We purchased this home in September of 2020 after falling in love with Bear Lake. We found this to be the perfect gathering place for family and friends and are excited to offer it as a new rental for guests.

This gated-community home with 5,000 square feet, 7 bedrooms, and 6 bathrooms (sleeps 38) offers gorgeous lake views, modern amenities, and plenty of creature comforts for relaxation and play. Enjoy playing pool, foosball, air hockey or watching a movie on one of 5 flat screen TVs. Enjoy breathtaking views from your own private Bullfrog hot tub on the back patio. The property also sits across the street from the clubhouse, offering two heated swimming pools, water slide, hot tub, basketball court, tennis court, pickleball court, and playground. The outdoor pools are open seasonally from Memorial Day to early October.

Start the day watching the sunrise over the lake right from the master bedroom or deck. For all-season outdoor play, enjoy The Reserve’s 1800-foot private beach, miles of ATV and snowmobile trails accessible right from the property, or skiing at nearby Beaver Mountain. Come home to enjoy sitting by the fireplace or a mug of hot chocolate by heaters on the deck while you unwind and watch the turquoise water. Book your family reunion or corporate retreat here for unforgettable memories of beautiful Bear Lake.

Fantastic winter get away

Was great for our group. We had adults and youth and it was a blast. Loved the house and all the activities it offered.

Great Place to Stay for Family with Kids

We had a great time with family at this beautiful, comfy and clean house. There was plenty of room for the whole group of 23 of us. The billiard, ping-pong table, foosball table and private hot tub kept us all entertained and off the screens. We enjoyed snowboarding and skiing at Beaver Mountain which was only 30 minutes away. The owner was friendly, helpful and quickly replied when we had questions. The directions for check in and check out were clear and easy to follow. Definitely recommend this place!!

Everything was great.

Everyone enjoyed staying. The home fit our needs as well as being extremely comfortable. Only negative was the big couch downstairs wasn’t cleaned under. We loved it to accommodate the group and it hadn’t been cleaned under. Everything was great.

4 Day Weekend

We were pleased with the property and its representation. There were a couple of items that we were not real happy with. The private beach was not nice at all. We were there post Labor Day and it was over crowded and muddy with vegitation, no real sand. We left and went swimming at the glub house which was very nice. That said, we believe the beach wasn't very nice because of the high water year. Everyone we spoke with said the beach is great when the water is lower. We do have a few suggestions to the host. It would be nice if there were full sets of measuring spoons and cups along with the ignition working on the grill. The long lighter in the cupboard didn't work, so I had to light a stick using the gas stove to get the grill lit. Once lit, the grill was the best I've used at a rental property. The jacuzzi was very nice and worked well, along with the TVs and games. The host provided very clear instructions in all areas. Thank you

We are Scott and Heidi Poelman. We love traveling, playing outdoors, and enjoying beautiful places. With our four children, we seek adventures in all forms, from the museums of Paris to campgrounds in the tropics. Mostly, we love any place that allows for healing, learning, playing, experiencing something new, and enjoying time together.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We fell in love with Bear Lake because of its beautiful turquoise waters, amazing outdoor adventures, and the quaint small-town vibe. At this property, we found an incredible view of the lake, the ability to gather up to 38 friends and family in a comfortable place, and a five-minute walk to the lodge's heated pools, hot tubs and sport courts. Pickleball in particular is a new family favorite. The cabin itself offers endless entertainment options with 5 flat screen TVs, pool table, foosball, ping pong, and air hockey. Outside, we love playing by the lake, in the lake, or on the lake. The spring and fall allow us to enjoy more of the beautiful outdoor terrain here with great hiking, biking, and motor-sport options. Winter promises great adventure with skiing, sledding, and snowmobiling. All in all, we found this cabin to be the perfect home base for all-season family adventure.

In our humble opinion, this property offers the very best of Bear Lake, with quick drives to the beaches, marina, ski resort, golf course, and restaurants, while also having immediate access to hiking, ATV and snowmobile trails right from the front door. The heated swimming pools and sports courts have amazing views of the lake and the lodge is a classy gathering place for any retreat. All around, this property is a perfect place to gather, rest, and play with family and friends.
