Absolutely beautiful views! Would highly recommend this beautiful house!
The size of the Home was awesome! We had up to 22 adults and children for part of our vacation and didn’t feel crowded!! Great location for hiking, boating, beach days etc.
Bear Lake - Wonderful Surprise
For over 15 years a group of couples have managed to get away each year to relax and catch up on each other's family events. Our destinations always include some type of water location be it an ocean, river or lake. This year we decided to make our destination Bear Lake and we stayed at Paradise Point. The 5 couples who made it this year are all from Ohio and Pennsylvania and I can honestly say everyone was AMAZED at just how beautiful the lake and surrounding area were!! The colors of blue were as good as Hawaii or the Caribbean!! The house was as advertised and the Owners were very helpful from the initially reservation until we departed. We most enjoyed waking up every morning to the incredible sunrise view from the living room and outside balcony. The large kitchen/dining area was perfect for our evening dinners. The fully stocked kitchen made it easy to prepare meals for our group. The recommendations from the Owner regarding things to do helped immensely since we were not familiar with the area. If you are a golfer, you must golf the course at Bear Lake West. A lot of courses may have a hole or two that are memorable but this course offers spectacular views of Bear Lake from every hole. Since none of our group had traveled to Idaho for vacation before, we now know why this is such a popular destination. Staying at Paradise Point was a treat and the Owner's attention to detail was much appreciated. Thanks for allowing our group the opportunity to use your beautiful house and who knows, maybe a return visit will happen!!
The Denison Family reunion was outstanding at Para
Paradise Point was beautiful. The view was excellent and we had plenty of space for our group of 35. The cabin was clean and filled with kitchen items and towels. Our 13 grandsons loved to bunk room and used it extensively. Our granddaughters used the basement family room as their headquarters for activities. Each of the 6 families had their own room.
We were very comfortable in the kitchen and food preparation was made easy because of the facilities. It was good that they provided a freezer/fridge in the garage entryway, as we had an abundance of food. The adults ate in the dining area, while the kids generally ate on the deck and loved it.
The grass area was very nice and useful. We had several activities there such as pictures, a water fight, games and others. The kids found the stairs and rocks very fun to play on. We loved the new swimming pool!! It was great and the pools were fun. We also used and enjoyed the courts. The games in the closet in the upstairs of the cabin were very helpful and used quite a bit. Lana spent a lot of time organizing the games, as previous renters had not put them away properly.
We had a great time at the cabin. Our family thoroughly loved it and were very comfortable. Only 2 problems occurred. One headboard was not bolted securely, so we took it off. Second, the private beach that was advertised was flooded, so we went to the Bear Lake North Beach. When we arrived, there was one sprinkler head broken on the north side of the front stairs. This wasn't a problem for us, but does need to be repaired.
Overall, we had a wonderful stay with a lot of activities. We would rate the Paradise Point Cabin a 9 and recommend it to anyone. Thank you.
We would give Noel and Tami a five star review in terms of responsiveness and prompt reply’s.
The weather was perfectly warm and sunny for August during our 3-4 day stay during the week. The amenities listed items that were not available or properly updated, such as the splash pad being shut down, there was no kayak or canoe(we’re a canoeing family), and the private beach was basically a muddy cat tailed filled area with bugs and it smelled. No one from the Reserve was understandably using it. We understand the water levels, we just wish it had been more accurately represented. The rustic home was perfectly stocked with bedding, pillows and tri-folds. The kids large room upstairs with the ping pong table was a hit!! We loved the two large refrigerators, washer and two dryers, and all the parking space. The basketball arcade in the garage was perfect for our sporty family. The gas fire pit was wonderful at night, and the seating on the decks was plentiful and extremely pleasant to eat and relax there. The electronics and WiFi were perfect as well as the sound system. Thanks so much for sharing your family home for others to enjoy their families too! Jenn
Thanks for the wonderful comments about us and our home.
For better clarity, we have updated our listing to move the "paddleboard included" into the sports/water gear section instead of the kayak/canoe section. Hopefully this resolves any future confusion.
We have also removed the splash pad from the listing description until that is repaired. It was damaged when they added the new 2nd large swimming pool this summer. Hopefully your family was able to enjoy that addition.
When the lake is completely full as it has been this year, there are very few sandy beaches anywhere on the lake. Our close proximity to North Beach makes our home's location ideal during high water periods too. Their charge of $5.00/per vehicle to launch a boat or use the beach is a great value too.
Super nice cabin and beautiful view of Bear Lake
We had 16 people in our group and we had plenty of room. The view from the front room is amazing. Everything was so nice! I would stay there again and again!
Beautiful reunion spot for large families!
Our family of 23 stayed here for one week at the beginning of Raspberry Days in Garden City. This is the perfect place to stay and reconnect with cousins, aunts and uncles, and grandparents. We were well served by the fully-stocked kitchen and bathrooms, the large gathering area for games and story telling, the clean and inviting fire pit and back porch, the swimming pool, gym, and community center just down the road, and the beautiful lake nearby. The owners were friendly and very accommodating, and we would wholeheartedly recommend Paradise Pointe to anyone planning a trip to Bear Lake...during any season of the year!
