Perched on the Galveston Seawall at Diamond Beach, this condo is situated in a perfect location to get some peace and quiet, yet is close enough to the heart of town to get a taste of the hustle and bustle as well. When you want to venture out a bit, make your way into downtown Galveston (six miles) and visit the Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier. For some fun closer to home base, check out Moody Gardens or Schlitterbahn Waterpark Galveston.

Great spot!

My 3 sisters and I loved our stay at this well appointed condo! It was comfy, quiet, and had a gorgeous view over the main pool to the Gulf. We enjoyed the pool, lazy river with the swim up bar, and our coffee time on the balcony each morning. Friendly and efficient desk staff. Would return!

Bright and clean with a fantastic view!

The unit is nicely appointed, and had everything we needed to enjoy our visit including an amazing view! The pools, gym, and game room were clean and very well equipped. Restaurants, groceries, and lots of things to do are not far away.

Great place!

We had a great time here. The only reason for 4 stars was that the main pool was closed due to hurricane damage. Not a huge deal, since the lazy river and indoor pool were still working, but we were not given a heads-up and this was one of the big reasons we booked this resort. Otherwise, it was great!

Amazing condo!

From the moment we walked in, we were on vacation and pleased with the condo! Very secure and safe. Condo was nicely furnished and had everything you need including w/d. View was great! We enjoyed the pool and lazy river very much. We were sad to leave today but will be back for sure!! Thank you for sharing your lovely condo with our family.

Beautiful facility

It was a beautiful facility with lots of very wonderful pools that were all closed because of the hurricane possible roof tile damage. The Lazy River was open, but there were several lights that did not work under water and when we went at night, it was dark in some places. The indoor pool was very nice. The rooms were beautiful. The big drawback was the access to the beach was too difficult to get to if you have any trouble walking like my mom where we rented a beach wheelchair. There was a 3 1/2 foot dirt drop off to get to the beach and we could not take her. They should build a ramp.

Good but not great

The balcony door would not open at all the first night. When we brought it up to staff on site they informed us to call Vacasa. The front staff was very nice and John even came up and tried to get the door open with my husband and could not. When I called Vacasa they said they would send someone out that night.. it turned into the following evening of still no balcony access. The guy finally was able to get it open but said it was very tough and had been there before and still it hadn't been replaced with owners. If it wasn't for my husband there I would not be able to open the door. The diamond beach staff John was very helpful. Everyone at Vacasa always had excuses or said someone would help and they have not. I've reached out multiple times to try to get a partial refund since we were not able to enjoy the balcony that we paid dearly for and still they have yet to respond with an answer. The condo itself was nice besides the problem of the balcony, great view! The owners have it furnished nicely. We did have a leak and j the second bathroom coming from ceiling and was told to just put a bucket under for the condensation. Overall, we enjoyed but really missed out on the balcony and wish we could get some answers.

Toaster didn't work, dishwasher didn't work, hot water non-existent, blinds wouldn't open, fridge water filter needs replacing, front desk called at 4:30 am to ask if we'd left keys at the front desk!!! (We hadn't.)Communication of Vacasa team with local team was laughable. Reported a problem at 9 am, local team didn't get the message until end of business.Nice views. Nice pools. Should have been a much better stay than it was.

Resort property was lovely, just would not rent this unit again. Mold issues which sickened two family members during our entire week long stay. Unit needs updating. Kitchenware was dirty and chipped, forcing us to pick up paper goods so littles didn’t get cut on them. Some easy fixes like cleaning HVAC system, running bleach through washer and keeping door open between uses, and changing out bedding and broken furnishings would place this property back into good stead. Many of the property amenities were only available on the weekend; however, there were plenty of things to do off property and the location is good.

Exceeded expectations

This complex is amazing. The pool is gorgeous and huge. The bartender at pool bar was so friendly. The drinks were great. The lazy river was huge and so nice. The girls played volleyball. The beach was right outside the gate. Security is amazing. I felt safe letting my 14 year olds explore alone. The game room is all free games with tons of games! The condo itself was beautiful and spacious and overall just exceeded my expectations. The pictures are accurate and it’s better in person!

Amazing family vacation!

Kids had so much fun. Condo was clean, beautiful, comfortable, and same price as the two hotel rooms we would have had to book for five of us. All the staff we encountered were fantastic. Garage parking had convenient access to elevator. Pool and lazy river were so much fun!

Great Stay

Beds were comfortable. Had enough linens and towels were nice and soft. It was nice having hand soap in all the bathrooms. Furniture comfortable. The game room was fun and the pool and spa were relaxing.
