Pet-Friendly Backyard Studio Retreat

Relax in our quiet townhouse retreat.
*note that the bathroom is on the second floor. Downstairs has a living area with sofa bed (mattress size is full but short) and a queen-sized bed. It’s great for two guests but can accommodate children or three adults. (The sofa bed and queen bed are in the same room.)
In the kitchenette, only microwave cooking is available. No outside appliances allowed.

Upstairs is a large, tranquil bathroom for pampering, as well as a listening area. Use our turntable or hook up your own media. Don’t forget to feed the squirr-I mean, birds!

The space
Don’t let your pup or kitten suffer from separation anxiety. Bring your fur babies along! The yard is completely fenced and there are treats waiting inside. Please leash your pet when not inside the gate, as there are many neighborhood cats afoot.

The pet fee isn’t automatically charged. Please pay upon arrival.
Dog Pet Fee -per pet/per visit:
$25 for 15 lbs. or less
$35 for 16-75 lbs.
$50 for 76 lbs. or more.
Cat Pet Fee $25
(Additional cleaning fee may be charged, if necessary. Please let me know you’re bringing a pet so I’ll use a dog friendly cover on the bed.)

We use almost all the cash apps, or cash! Details are posted on the fridge.

No smoking inside the house, please. There are ashtrays outside, but please be considerate and empty them in the trash can.

We have a full sized refrigerator and a microwave in the kitchen. Help yourself to soft drinks and water from the fridge. Enjoy our coffee station where the mugs are for sale! No outside kitchen appliances allowed.

The storage area in the kitchen has chair cushions for the outdoor patio. The outdoor area gets weathered.

Play any albums you like in the listening area, while being respectful of the vinyl.

Don’t be alarmed if you hear a thud in the night- it’s those silly squirrels! We’ll be happy to remove the bird-feeders, though, if you’d like.

Enjoy your morning coffee outside or have a nightcap by the chimenea. There’s a barred owl right above you, and his call is beautiful!

Guest access
There are stone steps from the driveway to the gate and then to the apartment in the backyard. The entire downstairs of the apartment is yours. Upstairs, the white partition closes off the studio space, which is off-limits to guests. Bands don’t practice when you’re there! We only use that area when we don't have guests.

Your pets are welcome anywhere in the backyard. They can’t hurt the monkey grass, so don’t worry! You are responsible for making sure gates/doors are closed and cleaning up after your pet. Use the blue poop can near the gate. Please quiet barking dogs or bring them inside. The neighbors thank you!

Glitter is awesome and really sets a fun mood. But you’re gonna pay me $50 to clean it up.

Please don’t burn incense or sage the apartment. Some guests are sensitive to odors.

So you almost bled out under the fridge or you spilled marinara on the bed, it’s understandable! But please tell me!
