The living area is a fully furnished spacious private suite (over 1,000 square feet) featuring a private entrance, queen bed, futon bed, full bathroom, full kitchen, computer workstation (computer not provided), and high speed Wi-Fi. Living room area has a 70" TV with DVD player, family friendly DVD collection, Youtube and streaming access. Location is in a quiet residential neighborhood less than 5 miles from the UGA football stadium. Free parking for 2 cars available in the driveway, and additional parking on the street.

The back yard features a covered deck with bar height table, gas fire ring, outdoor wood fireplace, and a large grass open fenced area with a concrete splashpad for the kids. Please let us know if you would like to have some visitors during the day. We have a gas grill, and and 36" griddle that can be used for outdoor cooking. You can relax in the comfortable seating area around the fireplace while the kids splash away!

Georgia Game Getaway

We stayed here for a weekend to go to a Georgia game. The hosts came down to meet us as soon as we arrived and offered their help for anything we needed. Very convenient location to get to the Sanford stadium, as well as several food options. Safe neighborhood. Will definitely stay again for our next GA game. 👍

UGA Graduation Weekend

We didn't get to enjoy the outdoor amenities because we kept busy with graduation activities on campus, but the inside definitely met our needs. Mark and Regina have taken care to think of everything you might need on your stay away from home. They are friendly hosts who are responsive thru the entire process. It was an easy drive on to campus and downtown. Highly recommend for your family's place to stay in Athens!

Home away from home

This is the second time staying while visiting daughter at UGA, very nice location and such a comfortable stay. My tire was low on air and Mark filled it and made sure it was good to return on the road. Feel very safe here, will be back soon!

Perfect property and location

We were there for our daughter's graduation from UGA. There were 3 of us. We loved the spaciousness of the apartment and the beautiful backyard where we had a wonderful evening outside. I also enjoyed walking the hills nearby and getting exercise without even leaving the neighborhood. Mark and Regina were great hosts and made us feel very welcome. Would definitely stay there again.

The property is in a lovely, quiet residential neighborhood. It is very clean and well-maintained.

UGA Delta Zeta Parents Weekend

Mark and Regina were excellent hosts. They communicated promptly and fully and made sure we had everything we needed. The property was just as advertised and was a convenient home base to visit our UGA daughter. We would definitely stay here again.

Great experience staying here! Property looks just like the pictures. It is in a quiet neighborhood. Hosts were on site and welcomed us when we arrived and helped get us settled in. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect home away from home in Athens!

I spent 2 days (well really just nights) at Mark and Regina's. I was in Athens to move my daughter into her apartment while she was at Redocat Band camp. It was a worldwin weekend. The home was spotless and very comfortable. Mark and Regina met me late in the evening to show me around the house. I am hoping to stay here many times through the years my daughter is at UGA.

Great for kids!

Regina and Mark were very hospitable and had check in streamlined. Very accommodating and clean property. Beautiful back yard fenced in and well manicured with gorgeous annual flowers. The kids really enjoyed the splash pad and there were nice grills and outdoor fireplace for adults. I highly recommend this rental property. Very comfortable and quiet!

Wonderful

Mark & Regina are perfect hosts. Their home is beautiful and perfect for a stay in the Classic City. The neighborhood is safe, nice, family friendly and close to all the "must do" attractions of Athens. We loved our stay and will check for availability when we return to the area.

We moved to the Athens area to be near our two daughters, and our grand daughter. Mark is a retired mechanical engineer who loves to build things. He spends a lot of time making projects with his CNC machine in the garage. When Regina is not babysitting our grand daughter, she likes to sew and quilt.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We specifically looked for a home with a full basement and a nice private back yard. It was difficult to find because homes typically have one or the other, but not both. We were immediately sold on the back yard because it is perfect for entertaining and is very private.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

After a long day at a football game or visiting sites in Athens, the private fenced back yard is the perfect place to relax and unwind with your children and some of your friends. We just recently added a splash pad that the children love! You can relax in the comfortable seating area around the fireplace while the kids splash away! We have a covered portion of the deck that has a bar height table. There is a also a gas fire table and a gas grill on an open portion of the deck. The paved patio area has a glass dining table and an outdoor fireplace with comfortable seating. All together there is seating for 16 on the deck and patio. It is the perfect area for small events and gatherings.
