The PBHInn is close to the beach, Worth Avenue, the lake trail. Youâll love the hotel because of the neighborhood and our cozy bedrooms. The hotel is perfect for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and furry friends (service dogs).
Overall the room was ok. Small but adequate. Arrived a little early. Was told check in was at 4:00, but they were working on the room now. She said she would call when it was ready. Mentioned that it would only be a short wait. NO CALL.
Got a parking pass. There were no places in the designated place. Brought the pass back for a refund. Again, very rude and would not credit me. Was told that there would most likely be no places in front. There were plenty of FREE Parking at night. It was her attitude yet agin that upset us. There are a few reviews that mentioned the same thing. On to the next !!
The location is fantastic - walking distance to almost everything in Palm Beach. The room is basic and a good price point. The mattress was comfortable and the room had a coffee maker, refrigerator and a large TV. Overall, a great experience and super nice staff working there!
Stayed here as a last minute getaway from Fort Lauderdale during Memorial Day weekend and had the best time at this place because the location is so ideal. You can walk everywhere and the bed was clean and comfy and AC was great. We would definitely stay here again.
The property and location was a bit limited but quiant.
The staff was helpful and accommodating, however the one that appeared to be the owner or something was a "bit pretentious".
She kinda dressed us down for parking where we were instructed to park (in spaces behind the building) after we purchased the parking pass from them to park there.
She also got a bit hung-up on us taking extra towels for our intended 8 day stay ( we took 4 extra hand towels and washcloths) and she even came to the room requesting them back....apparently hand towels can make or break a business, who knew.
It kinda struck me the wrong way so we'll be leaving before our reservation is completed.
I travel for a living and never really encounter this kind of attitude or distain from a hotel, especially after spending almost $2k with them.
All in all I will just keep staying at the house I usually rent across town in the Wellington area and pay "ala cart" for the beach access in the future and avoid the snobbery....its easier that way.
Staff was super accommodating and friendly. Inn was very charming and extremely well maintained for an historic building. Appreciated the exceptionally clean room.
