We loved the location & view of the beach from this unit. Unfortunately the unit is very dated! The countertops and dressers are very warm out. Scuff marks all over the walls. The kitchen was not fully stocked, but luckily I brought my own items with me to cook breakfast.
Excellent location. Plenty to do on-site for kids and walking distance to food, coffee, desserts, putt-putt, beach stores, etc. Very easy check-in. 2nd floor location made it a quick trip to the lobby, pool area, ocean, and street. Very highly recommended.
The place was clean and tidy, and the view from the balcony was perfect. The parking building was attached to the resort, which was convenient. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, but it could have used some nonstick pans for easy use. The furniture is a little old, but it is good for the price they charge. The check-in staff was very helpful and informative.
Pricing was fair. Customer services was professional and friendly. Room could have used some updating but was overall good. Would definitely stay with Camelot again!
Good location. Good facilities. Saw problem with item being dropped form balconies to pool. Kitchen cabinet doors need handles. Noisy at times with children in pool below. Bathroom close has broken shelf and missing tile. Couch quite old/worn. Would use again if in Myrtle beach.
Every piece of fur6needs updated- worn out and or chunks out of it, black marks, pain missing. A whole drawer front was missing in the kitchen. The unit as a whole is in extreme need of maintenance and updating. One toilet ran constantly, the middle of the shower knob fell out, sink didn't work unless you removed drain. Definitely worst room we have ever had in our last 6- stays here. Will book elsewhere if Camelot as a whole starts being this way.
I'll start out with what I liked, The location was good And it was cleaner than the last place we stayed in. It definitely could have been cleaner (we sat on sheets Because the furniture was gross and bought our own pan and toaster and washed everything that was in the kitchen before using it) The place needs updated and the walls are pretty thin So you could hear everything Not to mention the view in the 2nd bedroom was of the parking garage "like what" every Tom d*** and Harry decided to act like an idiot in the parking garage between 12:30 and 2 o'clock in the morning reving their car up, so that was fun. All in all reviews and pictures on the Internet do not help because when you get to the actual place it's nothing like you expect it to be. I will give you a props for being cleaner than Palace Resort.
So disappointed with our room this time. We normally stay in 407 which was not available this trip so we stayed in room 205. The entire condo needs to be gutted and remodeled. The 2nd bedroom had a bed with a huge depression in the middle. The couch felt like you were sitting directly on springs, the refrigerator wasn't cold enough and we had to toss all of our groceries. The vents were dripping and the bedroom vent had rot around it. The bathroom closet shelf was broken. The kitchen was missing cabinet doors and all of the counter tops had stains on them. The condo owners really do a disservice to the resort by having such a run down unit. If it had been our 1st visit it certainly would have been our last. To say this condo was disgusting is an understatement. The front desk staff was very friendly and we love the rest of the facility but I would never rent 205 again. 407 is a lovely unit and I hope when we plan our next trip it will be available so we can return to Camelot by the Sea...otherwise we are going to another place.

This building and this condo need a serious refresh. The furniture is dingy and has obvious years of dirt ground in. The sheets and and bedding were also worn.
The building actually is a parking deck and rooms are off of the parking deck. There is no barrier between the parking deck and the exterior hallways that give you access to the rooms.
The best thing about this place is the location, other than that, I wouldn't recommend it.
Typical ocean front condo. Needs basic updates like carpet, couch, cooking utensils and cabinets. Found a roach or roach like bug on the last day of our stay in the bathroom (gross). Needs better balcony chairs.
The room was nice - a little too close to the "action" as the pool was right underneath us - so it was loud at times (though it closed at 11p so that helped). kids throwing things from rooms much higher making it scary and dangerous. 4 people in our group came home with antibiotics from swimming in the pool (none of us were in the same room - all of them were in the same pool). Accommodation's worked for where we were headed most of the time, but would not stay again.
Absoultely loved the amenities such as lazy river, tiki bar, and beach access. One of the most comfortable beds I've ever slpet in and the water pressure in the shower was wonderful.
This is a great vacation spot to Myrtle Beach. The pool/activity accommodations are perfect for children. The hot tubs are very relaxing for parents. Lots of beach chairs available, easy access to beach. Location is right in the middle of restaurants, coffee shops, etc.
We did not spend much time in the roomâŠ.besides sleepingâŠ.rooms are perfect for that.
The view was beautiful, the kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. The room was clean and the staff was all very nice. The pool area has something for everyone from the kids playing in the lazy river to the bigger ones swimming in the pools and us sitting in the hot tub. It was a very nice place to stay and made our vacation that much better.
