Wake at the Lake promises that life is better when you start your day at Deep Creek! Conveniently located, this attractive home has all the essentials for a great getaway with family and friends. Plus, your community lake access is within half a mile.

Step inside, and the open floor plan welcomes you to unwind. Vaulted ceilings, warm wood accents, and abundant natural light combine to create the perfect ambiance for your vacation. Kickback on the sofa to watch TV. A wall of windows reveals scenic views bringing the outdoors inside.

You'll appreciate the convenience of being able to make home-cooked meals in the fully equipped kitchen and enjoy family time around the dining table.

Retire to the spacious main level primary suite, featuring private access to the deck, a king bed, a TV, and an en suite bath with a shower. This is your own personal haven when you are ready to wind down each evening.

You'll get a good night's sleep in both main level bedrooms furnished with queen beds. Wake refreshed and ready to explore the natural beauty of the Deep Creek Lake area.

Everyone will stay entertained playing games in the lower level family room! Try your hand at a game of ping pong or play air hockey with the kids. There is plenty of seating to watch your favorite movies on the wall-mounted TV too.

Surrounded by trees, the deck is ideal for quiet moments with your coffee in the morning. Within a short walk, you will find the community tennis courts so be sure to bring your racquet! The community lake access for swimming or fishing is within half a mile. Deep Creek Lake State Park is less than two miles away, and it is the perfect place to spend a summer day. A sandy beach for swimming, playgrounds, picnic areas, hiking trails, and kayak rentals are just a few of the highlights.

It is easy to reach popular activities and attractions. Restaurants, mini golf, shops, ziplines, and arcades are within a five to ten-minute drive. Stop by a local marina to rent a boat for the day. It's one of the best ways to check out stunning scenery and have fun while you're at it!

Wisp Resort is nearby with something to entertain just about everyone! They have two golf courses, thirty-three slopes for skiing and snowboarding, a disc golf course, mountain bike rentals, a snow tubing park as well as a thrilling mountain coaster.

The property was nice. The only issues were: 1- Lower floor was very damp 2- Lower floor. Floor was buckled and could be a trip hazard 3- drain in lower floor bathroom was draining very slowly 4- Master bathroom toilet paper tissue holder screw is loose and need to be tightened. 5- many of the landscaping light were not working. It will Be nice to have outside a little brighter But, overal everything was good and we enjoyed the place

Worst VRBO experience I've had

Steep stairs to the house were not salted or shoveled when we arrived. Steep driveway was also an ice sheet. Untouched since the snow weeks ago. It was definitely dangerous going down the stairs to bring out kids and things inside. Got inside and the water is brown and has a very strong sulfur smell. The smell of the water gave me headaches and my wife refused to shower in it. It made me smell a bit like rotten eggs after I showered. The radiator in my kids' bedroom is also broken. They also provide next to nothing that you would typically need. One roll of TP per toilet. No tissues. No hand soap. Two cubes of soap for the dishwasher. One trash bag. One. For a 3 night rental for 9 people. This was definitely my worst VRBO experience after renting once or twice per year for many years. We will definitely keep an eye out and avoid Taylor Made in the future.

Good: Location, deck, front yard, good sized kitchen and living room. Close to the grocery and marina and other shops. Short walk to basketball court and dumpster. Fun fire pit. 3 full bathrooms. Not as good: Could not find the AC so it was quite warm on the main floor. Maybe our fault but we searched and didn’t find the thermostat. No hand soap. Why? No trash bags or cleaning supplies except small dish soap bottle and 2 dish detergent tablets. No garbage disposal. Basement floor very warped and should consider replacing. Ping pong table even more warped. Air hockey table seems not to work properly. Overall: 4/5. We could live with the temp inside as the great outdoor space made it easier to spend time outside. I would suggest staying but you will have to provide all toiletries and cleaning supplies unlike many other rentals I have stayed in in the past. Owner may want to point out Thermostat. If you’re there to spend most of your time outside this will be a great location.
