À propos de cet hébergement
Lovely Serene Home in the Pines with Gorgeous Mountain Views!
This newly updated home in the beautiful town of Strawberry is the perfect retreat for a relaxing getaway. Breathtaking views of the pine forest, cool in the summer and light snow cover in the winter makes this perfect year-round. Step into the home and be immediately greeted with unobstructed views of the Tonto National Forest. Every window has a mountain view and vibe of being tucked into the pines. The open floor plan has a contemporary living and dining space with a beautiful fireplace with a pellet stove insert to create a warm, cozy atmosphere for you and your guests. The gourmet kitchen has everything you will need and more to prepare meals, entertain and get ready for an outdoor BBQ.
The sunroom is designed as a game room and relaxing reading room with a bar to enjoy nights and days inside while absorbing the panoramic views
The half bath and laundry room on the main level make this layout extremely convenient and comfortable.
On the second level are 3 guest bedrooms. The master has a queen sleigh bed and an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. The other two bedrooms have queen beds and share a hall bathroom with a tub/shower combo. All beds are outfitted with high-end linens and comforters. There is ample closet space and a portable crib if needed.
The deck is outfitted with table, chairs and a comfortable swing to enjoy the amazing views. The deck is accessible from two of the bedrooms and the sunroom. Sit out on the deck with a cup of coffee or glass of wine to enjoy the sunshine and cool breeze.
The home has fast Wi-Fi and excellent TV satellite service.
This beautiful home sits on 2/3’s of an acre with plenty of space to explore.
Pine/Strawberry boasts a mild climate, fresh mountain air, fertile soil, and, of course, plenty of towering pine trees.
This small community that hugs the scenic Mogollon Rim between Payson and Camp Verde continues to thrive. Notable sights within the town include the historic post office, established in 1884, and the Pine-Strawberry Museum, which opened in 1979 and takes its name from Pine and its sister community of Strawberry. It features artifacts that focus on the prehistory and history of Pine and Strawberry..
Wrap your arms around one of the huge Ponderosa Pines that have been growing for hundreds of years in the Tonto National Forest Preserve that surrounds this quaint mountain town.
About 10 miles south of town examine another natural wonder, Tonto Natural Bridge – one of the world's only natural travertine bridges. The beauty doesn't stop there. This lovely town at the base of Arizona's famous Mogollon Rim also has seven lakes nearby. The fishing can't be beat!
Gold in the hills – discovered around 1875 – began the influx of settlers to the area. It was these early residents that gave Strawberry its colorful name, inspired by the wild strawberries that grew across the land. They also established the Strawberry Schoolhouse in 1885. It still stands today as the oldest schoolhouse in Arizona and is open for tours May through mid-October. Time your visit right to take part in the annual Pine-Strawberry Summer Fest, usually in early June. There are multiple festivals, usually on holiday weekends where you can enjoy arts and crafts and multiple food trucks. Small-town charm, beautiful scenery, cool mountain air, live music, crafts, and food fill the festival weekends.
Enjoy trips into Strawberry and Pine to visit local shops and restaurants.
There are multiple hiking options in the area. Minutes from the home is Fossil Creek Falls. Go to www.fs.usda.gov and search for more information.
