Quiet neighborhood, wonderful outdoor space, comfy beds, and great indoor living area/kitchen

For our annual cousins get together, we are always looking for a place where sharing beds and top bunks are at a minimum. Casa Del Sol had the perfect setup for us. Three twins in one room, twin and queen in another, and nice King primary suite. The closet in the primary suite could be extra sleeping space for kiddos, it's huge! The primary suite, laundry room, half bath, kitchen, dining, living spaces are all on second floor. Doors from living access the deck which is where we spent the majority of our time. The ceiling fans on the deck work great, so the breeze plus that made it nice. Plenty of seating outside, including a hammock. And we loved the 8 seat table! Perfect for breakfast, games, and puzzle time. Two bedrooms and full bath on first floor, with a small but comfortable seating area in the common area by the front door. The host thought of everything! We were especially thankful for floor fans in each room. Helpful for those in our group that need white noise for sleeping. They have a bucket of deer feed, and the deer are plentiful. So peaceful to watch them move through the foliage. The kitchen had everything we needed, including several convenient small appliances. The fridge was large enough to stock all our crap plus leftovers and there was plenty of room in the kitchen to share prep time. Some great places to visit within 30 minutes of the house, and it is easy to get back and forth. We enjoyed Gruene, although it was crazy busy, and of course time at the outlet mall. We did not do any River activities, but this is certainly a great place to be if you are tubing or boating. The driveway accommodates 6-8 vehicles, so plenty of room to park a boat or jet ski trailer. The driveway is steep, so make sure you don't drop your water bottles... Don't ask me how I know that ;-) We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again. I would also recommend Casa Del Sol to any other families looking for a great place in Canyon Lake. Host were very responsive to any questions. Great communication!

We had a great vacation in Canyon lake. Liked that the property was on a side of the lake that had access to nearby towns etc. LOVED the deer that came daily to feed. That was awesome. Enjoyed the large upstairs deck with a great view.

Gorgeous place!

The property was super clean and updated. It had plenty of room for our party of 10 to hang out and sleep. The balcony view was beautiful and large enough for all 10 of us without feeling crowded. I would absolutely stay here again.

Great spot.

Enjoyed the property and surrounding area. Feeding deer in the driveway was an unexpected bonus. Check-in was a bit late due to cleaning, but not a big inconvenience. Be advised, the owner requested a copy of a credit card and a photo copy of a driver's license. Maybe they have been burned in the past, but the identity theft risk is real. Unsure of their storage and destruction of the documents.

Perfect family getaway!

We had an amazing time on our family weekend getaway. House was spacious, clean, and well stocked. Beds were comfortable. My 3 kids had a blast feeding the deer, having dinner on the deck with an amazing view, and making s’mores on the fire pit. We will definitely be back!

40th birthday. New year gateway.

If you want to go to canyon lake this is the place to stay. Short drive to stores and activities. The owners of this property is very nice, communication is on point, and willing to help you and family have a good time while you staying at there property and the house have everything you need. Another great part of the property is the deer our kids had a great time feeding the deer. Looking forward to staying there again. Thx again Mr & Mrs Roberto And Martha for allowing us stay at your home.

Perfection!

We gathered for Thanksgiving with our son’s family in this wonderful home. The beds were very comfortable and we loved piling on the large sectional to watch movies. We really enjoyed the large outdoor deck - complete with a fire pit. The children loved the swing in the front yard and there were some heated games of foosball and corn hole! The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare and serve meals- including lots of extras like plastic wrap, ziploc bags, etc. The pictures capture the home perfectly and the owner was a dream to work with. I highly recommend this property!

Now, whenever we are not able to get away, we want to share our home with others in hope they'll enjoy it as much as we do. We are managed by a local family owned company, Canyon lake Escapes. They are available 24/7 and glad to help you with any needs.

Beautiful hills and plenty of water activity options with three rivers in the area and beautiful Canyon Lake. So much to do in this area. Concerts, wineries, breweries, farmers markets, and lots of local events to choose from monthly.

Close to many outdoor activities. Boat Ramp 5 and Comal Park is right around the corner. Lakeside Golf Club minutes away. Float the river or play in the lake.
