Lovely villa, lots of space inside and out. The quirky room configurations were no problem as we had access to the rooms via the courtyard instead of going through. Just about everything you could need for a relaxing holiday. Only thing missing was plastic glasses for use outside by the pool as we didn't want to take glass near the pool for safety reasons.
Marbella town is a ten minute taxi ride away, definitely worth a trip but expensive to do every day. You don't need to because there are more restaurants locally than it first appears, not all expensive! We loved Miguel and Maria's which is predominantly Italian but does lots of other things as well. The beach is just at the end of the road, 5 minutes walk away!
The good news: this lovely villa is furnished to a high standard and generously equipped with every convenience an active family might need. It is moments from a splendid beach, though its pool (heated, for an additional price, in winter), the comfortable loungers and the beautifully kept garden (fresh lemons and pomelos, anyone?) tempt you not to stray too far. Itâs somewhat isolatedâthe shops of central Marbella are a 10-Euro Uber awayâbut the nearby stores are more than adequate for daily supplies, and a variety of good restaurants, some of them beachside, can be found within walking distance. Almost constant sunshine during our three-week stay over Christmas and the New Year allowed us to enjoy the propertyâs open-plan design and outdoor comfort, and we were happy to pay a rental price that was obviously set at a premium for the holidays. However, the layout of the sleeping quarters was barely workable, particularly in terms of privacy, for our group of seven adults (including several seniors). It is far more suitable for families with children. While the upper floor is dominated by a large en-suite bedroom with balcony, the lower level features three small, cramped rooms (and two bathrooms) linked by a connecting corridor around two sides of the central courtyard. Occupants must pass through each otherâs bedrooms or go outside across the courtyard to access the main part of the house. The courtyard itself is set up for outdoor barbecue dining, which would be delightful in summer, but during our time there the sun never reached the area and it was never warm enough to use (understandably enough). We also discovered that the preceding rainy season had left growths of mold in two of the lower bedrooms, apparently a common problem with houses in the region, and one that was quickly addressed by the extremely cooperative manager, Artem, and his maintenance staff. Overall, we would recommend this property as an attractive escape for families in the warmer months of the year.
A short drive from the Malaga Airport and 300 metres from the beach, a short walk to a small grocery store and quick drive to a larger one, this was a perfect location for our family. The kitchen was well equipped for all our cooking needs, the washing machine was a bonus. Beds were all comfortable, lots of extra bedding and good quality towels galore, including beach towels. We had a very active two year old with us, he loved the large court yard, gardens and pool. There was a crib and two travel tenders along with two high chairs. Lots of outdoor seating and lounge chairs. Sunsets form the roof top terrace were amazing. It was also wonderful being able to park our vehicle in the secured yard (not out on the street). We loved the villa, location was perfect, we walked the beach and hopped onto the Boardwalk that took us into Marbella. It was close to many golf courses. It was less than two hours to Gibraltar, Rhonda, Nerja, La Concha. Two wonderful restaurants (Sergio's and Luuma) on the beach about 400 metres from the Villa .
The villa was spotless and well cared for. Our family had a fabulous month long vacation here.
It would also be perfect for four golf loving couples!
Een huis waar echt alles aanwezig is. Genoeg borden etc. Genoeg zitplaatsen. Goede bedden. Lekkere douches. Alles was super schoon bij aankomst, bedden opgemaakt, handdoeken aanwezig.
Kookplaat warmde beetje langzaam op. Misschien niet genoeg kracht aanwezig om alles te dragen?
