Quaint Beach Block Cottage, 100 steps to the beach

A's by the Beach, a popular all-season vacation rental, is the most charming beach cottage in the north end of Dewey Beach, nested in the quiet Carolina St. Located on the ocean block, the home is only 100 steps from the most beautiful beach of the East Coast. Situated between Rehoboth and Dewey downtowns and a quick walk to either town, its restaurants, bars & shops.
The home is spaciously laid out to accommodate up to 6 adults & 4 children or a maximum of 8 adults & 4 cars off street

The single story home features a living area that runs the width of the house surrounded on three sides by windows that bring in lots of light and the sound of the majestic Atlantic. The home boasts a very large and fully equipped kitchen, spacious separate dining room, three bedrooms and 2 full baths. There are 2 queen rooms, a large bunk room with two bunk beds (each is a twin over full) and two day beds that double as sitting areas (one in the living area and one on the screen porch). There is also a queen size sleeper sofa in the living area. The large screened porch is an extension of the living area and a must to enjoy the fabulous ocean breeze and the sound of the surf. It features a bar table, chairs along with a comfy seating for lounging after a day at the beach.

The spacious backyard offers an enclosed but open-to-the-sky outside shower, a gas grill and an outdoor dining table on the lovely private lawn.

Although you don't need to leave A's by the Beach, the restaurants and nightlife of downtown Dewey Beach are just a short walk on the south side. The Jolly trolley at the end of the street takes you north and is just two blocks from Rehoboth's sparkling Silver Lake and a very short ride to all the shops, restaurants and nightlife of Rehoboth. If you prefer walking, it is a scenic 15 minute walk or you can catch the beginning of the boardwalk through the beach.

Conveniently located on the north end of Dewey Beach and off route 1, A's by the Beach is nested in the quiet Carolina St.

Carolina St has a beach access and the home is 100 steps away from it.

A's by the Beach has a minimum age requirement. All adult members of your party must be 25 or older unless they are children traveling as part of a family group. Every guest must be registered and verified on your reservation. We have a strict no party or gathering policy.

Guest must sign Rental Agreement and provide Government ID.

Summer Rental Information - Please note that during the summer months (first week of July to Labor Day), we require a 7 nights minimum, booking from Saturday to Saturday. Reservations that are not made from Saturday to Saturday will be cancelled.

We do NOT provide Linen & Terry during the summer season (Memorial Day to Labor Day). We can connect you with a rental agency if needed.

We supply start up necessary paper amenities (toilet paper rolls, paper towels, tissue paper). Based on your usage habit and your length of stay, you may not have enough and should plan accordingly.

Although you have access to the entire home, there is one owner closet that is not accessible to guests and is located in the bunk beds bedroom.

Your arrival (and departure) is fully contactless. You will be provided with detailed check-in instructions the afternoon prior to your arrival including a code and/or mobile app to enter the home.

We are here for you during your stay, but our level of interaction is entirely up to you. We are only a phone call/message away and will respond usually within minutes during extended business hours. During the overnight, we probably wont get back to you until early the next morning. If there is a life-threatening emergency, please contact 911 and then call us and leave us a voicemail. We reserve the right to stop by the property at anytime but will give you at least 4 hours notice except in case of emergency.

There are 3 cameras located on the outside of the home for the safety of our guests. One on the front porch looking at the front door and one on the back porch looking at the backyard and one monitoring the driveway. Those are used for security purpose only. Any recording is automatically deleted after 30 days.

Third Party Reservations (Guest not occupying the home) are strictly forbidden and again any channel policy (airbnb, VRBO, booking...). The guest who made the reservation must be an active occupant of the home for the entire duration of the reservation. Unauthorized guests will be removed from the property and the reservation will be immediately canceled. No refund will be provided regardless of the cancellation policy.
