Location is great. Nice quiet neighborhood. Towels are provided, however, no wash cloths. Becareful on the back deck. Very slippery when wet. Needs power washed. Sliding glass door is hard to open and close and the front door is out of commission. Side door entry. The couches have been upgraded since the pictures were taken. Those were nice. There wasn't much laundry detergent for being asked to launder linens and towels used before departure.
Cozy house in a quiet neighborhood and close to beaches. Enjoyed early morning walks through the neighborhood with my pup. Family joined for one day to celebrate a milestone birthday. Large deck and yard. Prop mgr was very responsive.
Quiet neighborhood and convenient and close to various amenities, beaches including Cape Henelopen, Gordonâs Pond and Rehoboth. The main screen door would close and you couldnât use the front door. In master bathroom the tub was a little difficult to get in and out of due to the step.
We enjoyed our stay (myself, husband and dog) in June 2025.Pros - Great location, close to Coastal Highway; Great amenities, made use of Roku TV & DVDs. Plenty of sheets, pillow/cases, blankets. Allows pets.Cons - Only full size beds in each bedroomWish we had time to go crabbing or ride the bikes.
This property was perfect for our family including our dog. Neighborhood was quiet and so close to EVERYTHING. Easy drive to any restaurant, supermarket and outlets. Beach and boardwalk were easy to get to. Online pictures & descriptions were accurate. Property owner was great to deal with. I mistakenly booked wrong dates and he worked with me to correct. Can tell he takes pride in his beach house. Would definitely rent this property again.
Scheduled to stay 3 nights. Left following 2nd night. Uncomfortable with the unclenliness, odor, presence of dark areas on the ceilings and lack of proper maintenance. Nice location. Poor maintenance.
Overall our stay was really nice! Property owner was fantastic with communication and really welcoming and quick to respond! Dana's place was very homey feeling and offered just what we needed for a near last minute trip!
We stayed for a long weekend. The neighborhood is nice. The screen door flops open & is inside the front door. The main bathroom toilet rocks in place.
This property was quiet, easily accessible, and close to shops and restaurants on Route 1. It is a short drive to downtown Rehoboth and Lewes. The house itself is very comfortable and has a large backyard and deck. It was a very relaxing home away from home. We will definitely stay here again.
Had all amenities that were listed and more.,very quiet neighborhood and friendly neighborhood. Had an issue as soon as arrived called Dana and we fixed issue right away. Dana was very respectful of our stay. Large backyard for our dog. We would stay here again for sure.
Comfortable property with great space and location
Comfortable property with great space, great location, and great yard/deck area. We enjoyed spending our honeymoon in such a great location. If we had to provide any constructive feedback to the owner, it would be for more frequent landscaping maintenance around the deck and outdoor shower as those areas were a bit overgrown in an otherwise immaculate outdoor space. Please update the beach equipment at the house though (for example the beach umbrellas).
The home is centrally located, but needs lots of maintenance and a deep cleaning! The sliding glass door handle was hanging loose, making it difficult to use the deck. The light above the washer and dryer didnât work, and had to use our phone flashlight to see the dials. The range hood was hanging off its location. Also, spider webs everywhere as well as a major issue with ants. The dining room light is filthy, and so is the coffee table. The guest bathroom tub didnât drain either.
Nice house in quiet neighborhood. Could use some TLC, back deck had overgrown vines that increased bug presence and were all over air conditioning unit. Beds were a bit small, full size not queen. Items in cabinets and under bathroom sinks need to be cleaned out and organized, lots of left over items from other guests. A second TV in master bedroom would have been nice. Living room furniture was comfortable.
Widowed father of 2 girls, ages 21 & 28; retired administrative law judge specializing in government contracting for State of Maryland. We reside outside of Baltimore, about 3 hours away from our beach house. Most of our highly satisfied guests appreciate economical small-group pet-friendly lodging located between the RB outlet malls, a short drive from the beach within a quiet subdivision with features like an outdoor shower, large deck and back yard. We love using our beach house, but we're also happy to share it by allowing others to book it exclusively. Have fun at the beach.
We finally purchased our beach house after sharing group beach houses with collectives of other young adults who would book a place for the entire season. After marriage and children, that became a little untenable, so we took the plunge and have never looked back. This is a great place for a family getaway, or other gathering of friends who can make use of 3 bedrooms, living room, dining room, and kitchen, instead of just a single expensive non-descript bedroom in a hotel. Escape, relax, unwind, and enjoy.
We are pet friendly for whose who wish to travel with their best friend(s). We also provide linens and towels, as well as the opportunity to use our beach chairs, coolers, bicycles, etc. This can make the necessity of your packing and travel luggage a lot lighter.
