Traversez le refuge faunique de Primehook Beach, un paradis pour les amoureux de la nature, en route vers la magnifique maison sur la baie de Primehook Beach. Cette maison magnifiquement conçue vous permet de profiter d'une vue sur la baie depuis trois niveaux de terrasse séparés et projeté dans le porche. Le pont supérieur étant le plus haut de Primehook Beach, et un paradis privé pour les baigneurs. Promenez-vous le long de la plage privée où l'eau est suffisamment calme et chaude pour que les jeunes nageurs puissent s'ébattre.
Ce plan d'étage ouvert magnifiquement conçu avec des plafonds de 9 pieds vous permet de garder les familles ensemble tout en cuisinant et en divertissant. Toutes les chambres spacieuses sont éloignées les unes des autres tout en laissant entrer beaucoup de lumière naturelle. Défiez les enfants à une partie de ping-pong, de jeu de palets, de hockey sur air ou de billard dans la salle de jeux. Commencez ou terminez votre journée dans une douche extérieure fermée relaxante. À seulement quelques minutes des parcs aquatiques, des courses de charrettes, du golf miniature, des magasins d'usine, des restaurants, de la promenade de Rehoboth Beach et du ferry Cape May Lewes.

Family Fun!

Eleven of us—9 adults and two kids—had a wonderful time together at this beautiful house on the beach. We loved the location and the layout of the home. It was very easy to find and even though the weather wasn't the best, there was plenty to do indoors—including four 1000 piece puzzles in one week! We highly recommend it for any group who wants to make the most of their time together.

Beautiful Vacation Home

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Stayed for a week in early March with 11 total family members, including two children. We loved the layout and the views, had a bit of good beach weather (for March) and a truly wonderful time together. It's a very comfortable, well-appointed home and we recommend it!

Great Property!!

We had the best time in this home with a great layout for many guests. Its location is perfect in our opinion, just steps to the beach with beautiful views from the front windows/door overlooking the bay & gorgeous views out the back windows of the home overlooking the ocean. Spectacular!! It will be hard to beat.

The perfect spot

The location and views were amazing. Could not get any better. The game room downstairs was all our kids could ever want, adults too. House was spacious, clean, and stocked. We hope to return soon!

Perfect family vacation

AMAZING!!

This home was so amazing. We had the best time. The grandkids loved the beach, and the short walk to get to it. We really enjoyed the screened in back porch. The back was amazing also. The views were something else. Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home!!

Great for our family

We had 7 adults and 3 children 5 and under. Our family enjoyed the private beach and sand toys. When the waves were calm we took turns kyacking but there were enough waves to make it feel like we were at the beach and the children loved it. The house was exactly as advertised and accomodated our every need.

Great Rental

Clean, well appointed house with tons to do! The game room itself is worth the rent. Listing does not do it justice and also under sells how many people the house can hold. Will 100% be back in the future.

Couldnt ask for better sunrise and sunet viewing!

We got pretty lucky with weather during our March visit. Loved seeing amazing sunsets from the front porch and sunrises from the back. The house had plenty of space for our two families (4 adults, 4 kids all under 9, and one dog). Owners took great care to label everything. Some small maintenance items, but nothing major. Great place!!!

Best of both worlds!

We loved our stay at PrimeHook Beach. We couldn't decide which view was better, sunrises over the Ocean or sunsets over the Preserve. The Eagles Nest up top was a favorite hang out for kids and grown-ups alike. The house was set up perfectly for multiple families with kids and for working from "home". The owners provided everything we could ever need like a stocked game room, beach toys, beach chairs etc. We will definitely be back!!

Perfect Mix (the bay and the refuge)

This location was just what we needed! We felt like we were away from everything and everybody but the house offered all that we needed. The kids loved getting lost in the game space and my husband and I lived in the living room/kitchen space. The weather on a couple of days was warm enough for us to put our feet in the water. This home and space was the backdrop for a wonderful break with my family.

House has everything for a family

House was well decorated and offered everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The game room was amazing! We really enjoyed the shuffleboard court, skeeball, ping pong, pool table, basketball and air hockey. Incredible there was so much to do in one house! There were so many beds, everyone could spread out. The views were gorgeous! Very private and wonderful access to the beach. It is very apparent the owner wants their guests to enjoy themselves and takes great pride in their home. We appreciated all they had to offer and would love to return!

Fantastic Stay on Primehook

My family and I had a fantastic stay at this property. The house had so much space for everyone and furnished well. The location cannot be beat if you are looking for peace and quiet away from any crowds. We absolutely loved this property. My only complaint was that the cleaning staff didn't do much cleaning before we arrived and we had to spend a good portion of our first day there cleaning. Also, they left wet blankets in the washer & dryer and it wasn't until mid week we discovered the terrible smell in house - so again I spent a good portion of another day doing laundry that wasn't mine just so I could get rid of that terrible smell.

Bedrooms on the main floor allow older folks more convenience and comfort; upstairs rooms gave everyone some privacy. The home is more "homey" than the listing may lead you to believe...and the sunsets and sunrises on the front and back of the house are unbelievable! There is an elevator - get the code before you check in or you can't use it to load your luggage into the house! Helpful handwritten notes from owners made the place feel more personal.

Delaware Christmas Beach House

We had a wonderful time at this property. There was actually more space than we anticipated. Our family included 2 children under 2 years old, a couple of teenagers, and 5 adults -- everyone had plenty of space, plenty to do, and thoroughly enjoyed the week. We were prepared to be a bit isolated for the week but found that the Milford grocery store(s) - [Food Lion] - was only 18 minutes away. The fully stocked kitchen and the recreational items in the basement are definitely a bonus. We ordered a linen package and could have avoided some cost had we known that there were so many blankets and some kitchen towels available. We would 100% recommend this property to family and friends. It is beautiful inside and out... and the location is perfect. Looking forward to returning in the future.

Nice House for Large Gathering

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a nice house for a large gathering. The common area had plenty of seating and a wonderful view of the bay. The kitchen was well equipped with just about anything you would need. The upstairs hang out/bedroom was great with a large space for kids/teens to hang out. The major drawback to the house was that the furniture was very musty and even felt damp. The game room was also very musty. We could not play with the air hockey machine because the smell was too overpowering. One recommendation is that the house be equipped with a whole house dehumidifier. This is the fourth house at Prime Hook Beach that we have rented right on the beach, and we have not had this issue with any of the other houses.

Fantastic for large families

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been renting houses in at the Delaware shore for more than 10 years.This is hands down the best house we have rented. It's the ONLY house we've rented that has dining space to match the sleeping space! We've never had our entire family at one table at the same time before - it was a real treat. The house itself is set up very well for extended families with plenty of space to spread out, and to be together. The game room sent our little boys into Nirvana. We visited in winter, so spent more time inside than you would in summer, and they thoroughly enjoyed it. The rooms are spacious and have great furnishings. The kitchen is well appointed with cooking and serving dishes and utensils. The views are amazing and it is literally steps to the beach. The owner and Realtor were easy to communicate with and very accommodating. We will be back, for certain.

Great House At A Unique Beachfront Site

This is a beautiful, very clean, and well-maintained house right on the beach. It has a lot of really nice features: a huge screen porch facing the ocean with multiple lounge chairs and dining table; an enclosed widows walk that remained cool even on hot days; an enclosed ground floor full of entertainment (ping pong, shuffleboard, air hockey, mini basketball, pool table, even a currently-broken skeeball machine). Two of the king rooms have an ocean view. The third king room and the bunk room has mostly a view of the scrubby back part of the barrier island fronting the National Wildlife Refuge. The kitchen was well-appointed -- there's an extra fridge in the enclosed ground floor -- and the living room and dining room were nice and well designed. The one odd part of the house was the single large upstairs room (plus full bath). Two queen beds sit at the corners of this room with beachfront views; because we were there with two couples, my wife and I took one of these beds strictly for the view. The rest of this room is dominated by a huge sectional sofa that seems like it might be intended for kids watching videos, but with a large group this might be challenging given the lack of privacy for the adjoining queen beds. Strangely, this large room had zero chairs or tables, which I think would make it hard to spread a large group out into the upstairs area, except for kids watching TV. The beach is probably nicer at other times of the year; in our case, in mid-May, thousands of horseshoe crabs came up on Prime Hook Beach to mate the night we arrived and their dead and dying carcasses were everywhere — sometimes in piles — and that in turn meant there were a lot of flies. Perhaps because Prime Hook Beach fronts Delaware Bay instead of the ocean per se, or because it appears quite shallow pretty far out, there is basically no surf; the "breakers" were typically about three inches high, growing to about a foot on a day when we had high wind from the East. However, one of the highlights of the area is wildlife. We had a fox come around everyday around sunset, looking for rabbits or heading to the beach for a horseshoe crab dinner. We saw bald eagles flying up the beach one day, and we always spotted some -- along with osprey -- on the drive in through the NWR. If you come for paddling, as we did, the paddle upstream from Foord's Landing in the NWR is worth it, as is the Murderkill upstream from Coursey Pond near Milford.

A great place for a family vacation!

The view of the water from everywhere in the house is outstanding. The home is super clean and full of amenities. There is a fabulous game room for all ages. Inside there is plenty of games, books and puzzles to keep you busy when you’re not outside enjoying the beautiful uncrowded beach. The home also provided beach toys and boogie boards. The home is large with a lot of bedrooms and plenty of beds for a large gathering. When we stayed here, it was super quiet and hardly nobody on the beach. The drive to shopping and attractions is about 15-30 minutes. We were able to easily travel to rehobooth beach and the Lewis cape May ferry. Overall if your looking for a large home with great views and a semi- private beach we highly recommend this place!!!
