I do want to clarify a few points, so everything is accurate for future guests: - The listing does not advertise a hot tub; it has a standard bathtub, and I’m sorry if that was misunderstood. - The ceiling fan operates from the wall switch, and the remote only works when the switch is on. If you had let me know during your stay, I would have been happy to walk you through it. - Extra batteries for the TV remote are always provided in the unit, and I would have gladly assisted if you had reached out. I’m always available to help guests in real time, and I wish I had known about these concerns during your stay so I could have resolved them immediately. When you notified me of cleaning concerns, I immediately contacted Kevin, who oversees our cleaning and linens. He returned the same day to address the areas you pointed out. You noted that “Kevin came back … and wiped down the items in the pics I sent,” so I believed the issue had been resolved. On the third day of your stay, you sent me the same photos taken before Kevin’s second visit and mentioned you were still disappointed because of fingerprints on the refrigerator door. The stainless‑steel front panel has some permanent discoloration from frequent use, which can resemble smudges. I appreciate you wiping it, and I’m glad it looked better to you afterward. I also want to clarify one point that may have contributed to disappointment. You asked whether I could remove the Vrbo service fee because you were a returning guest. I explained that your reservation was made through the Vrbo platform and that I am not able to remove Vrbo’s service fee. I understand how this could be frustrating and may have influenced your expectations. Every guest’s experience is a learning opportunity for me.
