Welcome to sunset shores Unit 7I the spinnaker this is a cozy space, sit out on the deck enjoying the views of Linekin Bay in the morning with your coffee and the sunset with a glass of wine in the evening. Walk down to the dock and fish or look for sea glass on our beach at low tide. You're only 1.5 miles from ocean point and 5.5 miles from Boothbay Harbor. Enjoy all the good restaurants shops and excursions in the Harbor and return to a quiet and peaceful stay in the spinnaker.
First time traveling solo and this place was perfect. Had everything I needed and was close enough to anything I wanted to do. Would definitely stay here again next time I'm in the area.
Fantastic little hideaway for a solitary retreat. I love how close it is to the water, and the large couch on the porch is very generous for a studio for one person. It makes the porch feel like an extra room with a wonderful view. This is the second time Iâve rented here and both times have been delightful.
Well maintained property. Perfect size for one person. Very peaceful with great views of water and beautiful sunsets. Comfortable outdoor seating both down by the water and right outside the door. Convenient and free laundry facilities were a nice perk.
This little place was exactly as described. It was very clean and had all the amenities you could possibly need, even the little refrigerator was larger than I expected. It was a perfect size for one person. The neighbors were all very friendly and the surrounding grounds were beautiful. So peaceful reading down by the water. Location was also ideal, close enough to town, but much quieter, and not far from the gorgeous drive along Shore Road. Plenty of good restaurants nearby as well.
This is a lovely property. Extremely clean and cozy. I enjoyed sitting on porch area and sunsets are beautiful.
It was wonderful being on the waterfront and seeing boat activity. Cabbage island is right across from property.
I highly recommend staying here.
I spent 3 nights at the Jib! It was so clean and near, and had all the essentials! I loved the location near the lake, where I was able to go and collect seashells. Leah was so friendly and it was a pleasure communicating with her. Loved all the touches in my room and also loved being near the Linekin Preserve where I could get a hike in. Would recommend staying here to anyone!
Perfect size for a traveling nurse to stay. Leah and Scott were friendly and accommodating. The place was clean and quiet. The area is beautiful and there are plenty of outdoor seats to watch the sunset or to look at the ocean bay. The dock was my favorite spot to see little sea critters. There is a general store and local bakery in the area as well. I would definitely recommend this place and I would stay here again in the future.
Leah and Scott's place is a little slice of heaven located in a quiet and tranquil spot; while still being close to anything you'd want to do in Boothbay! The place had everything I needed! My favorite places to hang out were on the front porch and on the dock, with gorgeous views and a nice little picnic table! Everyone located in this little community were friendly to talk to and I even got the pleasure of meeting Scott and Leah and getting to know them a little bit! They're warm and friendly, as were everyone! I'd definitely stay here again and look forward to doing so!
Leah is a great host. I booked a weeks stay for myself. A few weeks before the stay, Leah reached out and offered a larger room( The Jib) as I was traveling with a lot of gear. The room was very clean and welcoming. It was set up like a hotel with 2 queen beds but did not feel like hotel. Leah was very accommodating, approachable and friendly! The dock was perfect for fishing , set up with a fillet table and running water to clean up. Other guests frequently used the dock and were very friendly. One of the longer staying guests offered helpful fishing tips for the area. I did some hiking at the Linekin and Burley Preserves which is right down the road. The trails go right along the Damariscotta River. I really enjoyed my stay here, I would highly recommend staying here and look forward to coming back!
I am from Oklahoma I fell in love with Maine in 2007 and began my hunt for the perfect town and property. I was looking at craigslist one Sunday morning after seeing a listing on Liniken bay I called and by the next Friday I had put an offer on this wonderful property. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
Boothbay Harbor has so much to offer restaurants ,boat tours, shopping, the Botanical gardens, Opera house and the spinnaker is located in East Boothbay it is quiet and peaceful but close enough for all the harbor has to offer.
