Cottage Guest House confortable sur Mill Pond

Cette charmante maison d'hôtes indépendante dispose d'un lit queen-size, d'une cuisine complète et d'une salle de bain complète. Il fait partie d'une plus grande propriété couverte d'arbres de deux acres avec 254 pieds de façade sur Mill Pond. Bien qu'il soit appelé «étang», Mill Pond a une marée de 6 pieds deux fois par jour depuis l'océan. Les clients sont invités à utiliser le foyer et le patio de Mill Pond. L'appartement peut accueillir 2 adultes, mais avec le futon confortable, 1 adulte ou enfant supplémentaire peut être ajouté. Nous avons également un pack et jouer que les clients avec un petit enfant peuvent utiliser gratuitement. Un espace de stationnement couvert est également inclus. L'appartement dispose d'Internet sans fil et d'une télévision avec DVD et Apple TV / Netflix.

Adorable cottage overlooking a tranquil salt pond.

Beautiful and peaceful spot

The little cottage was perfect us for, lovely and well equipped. Sitting by picturesque mill pond in the Adirondack chairs provided was so peaceful. Walks along the road to the public put in and other coastal areas along Linekin Bay was splendid! Wonderful spot in great location!

Beautiful, quiet spot

This was such a peaceful spot to celebrate my birthday. We spent hours just sitting by the mill pond watching the various birds fish. There is a great little store, a bar & a restaurant within walking distance so we didn't leave our little neighborhood at all the first 2 days we were there.

Lovely little cottage in a peaceful setting

This cottage was perfect for our stay. It is comfortable, clean, nicely furnished, and well equipped. The view down to the pond is beautiful. The neighborhood is quiet and charming -- we really enjoyed being in East Boothbay, as compared to the busier and more crowded Boothbay Harbor. There are several good hiking trails in the area, and so many other interesting things to do. Highly recommend! We would happily stay here again.

An delightful cottage off the beaten track that was perfect as I could bike and kayak adjacent areas

Exactly as advertised. Very nice view to Mill Pond. Close access to Boothbay Harbor and Ocean Point. Quiet, clean, relaxing place to stay to enjoy all the delights of mid coast Maine.

Lovely waterfront cottage

Tom and Celeste's cottage is a comfortable home on beautiful grounds. We immediately felt welcome and at home. Their street is quiet, away from the crowds, but close to everything we wanted to do. We enjoyed cooking our meals in the cottage and relaxing out by the pond. Tom and Celeste promptly answered our questions and provided us with guide books and brochures.

Peaceful, relaxing location

Very clean cottage. More than enough for a couple. We loved the big yard with the hammock, fire pit, and the tidal pond. Location is perfect - Boothbay Harbor is less than 10 mins away and it’s a great jumping-off point for the Boothbay Region in general. Only downside was no AC - there were some hot nights where having the windows open didn’t help and the fan could barely keep up.

Delightful Cottage

The owners were friendly and responsive to questions. The cottage was a delightful! It was very clean and nicely decorated. The owners had unlocked the door and opened a few windows and even had fresh flowers on the table. Very sweet & welcoming owners and cottage! Highly Recommend! Linda

Quaint but damp

My husband and I enjoyed the bnb for the most part - perfect kitchen amenities, beautiful view of the bay, cute little general store a short walk away. But we did notice it was pretty damp INSIDE the bnb our whole stay. There is no AC system, so the humidity builds up during the day, especially on rainy days and especially after a shower. Our clothes and the sheets/towels were damp to the touch our whole stay and smelled a little musty. An easy fix with a dehumidifier I think.

Beautiful Boothbay Harbor

Myself and my small family (husband and 8 year old daughter), had a wonderful week at this sweet little cottage the first week of August. The hosts were friendly, responsive, and gave us great recommendations for activities in the area. The cottage was clean and cozy and it had everything we needed. We loved the access to the tidal pond, the fire pit and the big quiet and peaceful yard leading down to the pond, but we also appreciated how close to everything it was! Boothbay Harbor is so beautiful and we loved our week at this property! Thank you Tom and Celeste for sharing your little slice of heaven!

A little haven

Loved the proximity to Boothbay Harbor, Midcoast Maine, & points south. Mostly loved returning to this idyllic setting on Mill Pond after a day of exploring. A glass of wine surrounded by nature's tranquility was good for the soul. My only suggestion: It would be nice if some basic pantry items were provided, like salt & pepper, a few condiments, butter, etc. But we very much enjoyed our stay and have already recommended the cottage to friends.

Great spot for a weekend getaway!!

Exceptionally tidy and cozy. Great back yard with swinging love seat, fire pit and picnic table. Unfortunately due to rain we were not able to use the canoe on beautiful Mill Pond. A one minute walk to the General Store, reasonably priced delicious food. The owners, Tom and Celeste, greeted us on our arrival and showed us around the property. They were very helpful in asking us what we were interested in doing and steering us in the right direction. We definitely look forward to the opportunity to stay here in the future.
