Quiet and peaceful. Grounds and water view were beautiful! Not too busy in late September which we liked. Nice restaurant nearby plus a neat general store with delicious menu options. We enjoyed our time and only wish it we had booked it longer. Communication was quick with the host.

Communication was excellent and the bed was cozy. Would have given it 5 STAR but shelves were empty. Salt and pepper... that's it. Otherwise nice location away from the tourists of Booth Bay Harbor. Peaceful area.

Quiet and beautiful

We enjoyed a wonderful 3 nights in a beautiful one room 1 bath condo. All units on the property have a view of the ocean. The beach at low tide was great to walk around in the water. Definitely a great getaway spot.

Perfect Maine Mid-coast accommodation!

I was so impressed with the Mainsail and the Waters Edge condos! The location was stunning. The Mainsail has a fantastic view of the Linekin Bay from the porch and the property has chairs, benches, picnic tables, and a dock where you can enjoy the beauty of the bay. We loved being in East Boothbay rather than Boothbay/Boothbay Harbor because it was much quieter and more relaxing while still being so close to everything. The Mainsail itself was even better than I expected. It was clear the owners thought of every detail to make the stay comfortable and meet yours needs. The kitchen area was really nice and well appointed. There was plenty of seating for meals and enjoying coffee with the bay view in the morning. The separate shower/toilet and sink/vanity space that could close off were especially helpful with our mixed party (parents/11yo son) and getting ready. I cannot recommend it enough!I’m sure the Mainsail is going to be a space we come back to in future trips to Maine and will definitely hold a special space in our hearts!

Great Studio Rental

We come to Maine and the Boothbay region often and use VRBO's in the area. This property was just what we needed for our trip this time. The rental was upstairs with lovely views of the property and water. The rental was clean, comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked although we ate out a lot. An added plus was the availability of laundry facilities on the property. The property was close to all the area sights. Very enjoyable and we would rent again.

Clean, quiet, central location

We first stayed at Waters Edge back in 2015. We enjoyed our stay then and decided to come back in 2024. Our room was just perfect for 2. It is located in a quiet area that is close to attractions we enjoyed, like the Boothbay Harbor, the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens and Pemaquid Point Lighthouse. We highly recommend Waters Edge.

It was clean except for the bathroom floor which needed a good mopping Excellent view of the ocean I misplaced the key and located it after I left but don’t know who to give it too All equipment was updated and worked great but really needs a local contact

Cute, quiet community. Cozy, clean, comfortable rental with everything needed for an excellent getaway. Scott and Leah are terrific hosts. The king size bed is heavenly. I didn't want to leave!
