This is a showplace unlike any other!
The breathtaking views and Spanish Hacienda architecture make this one of a kind. Long driveway ensures complete privacy, and virtually no road noise. Exterior security cams provide utmost safety, and every luxury that one would expect in a five star resort: pool (not heated), spa (heated), gourmet kitchen, sumptuous living room & den, and the VIEW!
5 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. 8 person maximum overnight guests. No visitors allowed. Rooms are grand-sized, and comfortable. Owner keeps his personal belongings in the casita next to the estate.
Only minutes from the The village center of Rancho Santa Fe.
We offer smartlock for the front door (smartphone will lock & unlock). House key is very expensive to replace: $2,000 (high security key).

Great Space

Perfect Del Mar Trip

The property is clean, spacious, and the perfect spot for a weekend at Del Mar races. The view from the pool is incredible! Mark was very accommodating and responsive to messages. Definitely a must stay!

Stellar Property and Location

4 couples shared the house for a long wedding weekend that was just minutes from the property. Inside was spacious and beautiful and the outdoor pool area was the favorite. We were there hours sharing the view, the friendship, and the sunsets. Host was 5 stars!

Absolute Perfection

We enjoyed a vacation at Mark’s beautiful dream house. It is truly the nicest place I’ve ever stayed! It was so clean, comfortable and spacious. The views are incredible. You just want to sit with coffee and look out the window or better yet sit outside & take it all in. So tranquil. Everything you can think of is there. We loved cooking in the state of the art kitchen. We appreciated the high quality & craftsmanship in this outstanding home. We were always noticing new details that delighted us!The hot tub was a favorite spot. Mark is always in easy reach even on Christmas Day but since we didn’t have any issues with house we didn’t need to contact him. The landscaping & grounds are beautiful and it’s set back from the road for maximum privacy & peacefulness.10/10 highly recommended

Serenity Now!

Such a beautiful property tucked away from the hustle and bustle of city life. We loved the pool and the view- the balloons in the evening were a big plus! A wonderful stay- highly recommend this house for any occasion!

Beautiful property with tons of space!

We had a wonderful time staying at this property with friends. The kitchen was fantastic for cooking and the two Master Suites are especially nice! The outdoor area with the hot tub was a big plus, and the large pool was clean and refreshing (though not very warm.) We appreciated the quick and easy communication with the host, and the beautiful surroundings of the area!

Perfect!

My company entertained a couple business guests at this location while also golfing some of the great courses in the area. The house was first class. We enjoyed all amenities offered and the owner was very responsive! Will do again!!

A family stay for a nearby wedding

This house is even nicer than the listing! My brother got married this past weekend and we needed a location to hold our family near the wedding location. Not only was this super close to the Secret Garden, it was perfect place to hang out and keep everyone happy. My niece and nephew swam every day if not more than once and my dad had a quiet room to be able to nap even with us all there laughing and telling stories. The kitchen was huge witch made cooking meals for all 10 of us super easy. The beds were very comfortable and very clean. If ever in the area again, I would definitely stay here again!

Outstanding stay!

While I am always leery about renting a home online as I have had bad experiences before, this one was a home run! From the location to to the quality of the home, everything exceeded my expectations. We had 4 couples for the stay and the bedrooms all had ample separation for maximum privacy. The owner was very accommodating and very responsive via text with any questions we may have had. The home is located on a premier street in Rancho Santa Fe close to the center of town and the best part were the views that went on forever including both sunrises and sunsets. When we are back in the area, I hope this home will be available for another visit.

Family Reunion

We had our family reunion at Mark’s Rancho Santa Fe property. It was a marvelous experience! The home, the setting, the pool, the spa, the view…….all were perfect. There was plenty of room for everyone. We all enjoyed ourselves-children and adults. We all agreed that we want to have our next family reunion here. Thanks Mark! It was easy to communicate with you and your home is the best one have ever rented.

Girls Golf Getaway Chateau

This beautiful estate we chose 7 months ago, for a girls golf getaway, super seeded our expectations. Not only was the property stunning, but the interiors were magnificent! If you are looking for a property where you have plenty of room to relax, spread out, and enjoy the outdoor views, this place is for you! Whether you're enjoying the one of the beautiful living rooms with a good book, cooking in the cooks kitchen, or taking a dip in the pool, you will be transported to another place! The owner Mark was available at a moments notice and took care of all of our needs. Look no further!

A Slice of Paradise

What a beautiful home both inside and outside. Inside there were several comfortable sitting areas which included a TV room, a quiet room for reading, and a delightful sun room. We loved having 2 master suites for the 2 couples and nearby bedrooms for the children. The “outdoor living room” near the swimming provided additional space for conversations while watching the twinkle of lights in the distance. Truly magical! The kitchen was spacious and well appointed. We had everything we needed for cooking at home when we wanted to relax instead of going out. Mark was amazing and responded quickly to every question we had. I look forward to returning in the summer when we can enjoy the swimming pool. Also, great idea having a beverage refrigerator outside.

2 MASTER SUITE MASTERPIECE

2 MASTER SUITES FOR OUR FAMILY OF 7. MY HUSBAND AND I GOT THE UPPER SUITE AND MY PARENTS GOT THE OTHER. OUR 2 BOYS (AGES 25 & 19) GOT THE 2 BEDROOMS THAT SHARED 1 BATHROOM ON THE LOWER LEVEL AND MY DAUGHTER (18) GOT HER OWN ROOM WITH HER OWN BATHROOM - THIS WAS PERFECT FOR PRIVACY AND EASE OF GETTING READY. EVERYTHING WAS VERY CLEAN AND IN PROPER WORKING ORDER. THE HOST WAS VERY RESPONSIVE AND MADE CHECKING-IN AND OUT A BREEZE. WILL BE BACK.

Luxury and relaxation

Our entire family, including a couple of pre-teens, a single, couples, and retired folks, all loved our stay at Mark's Rancho Santa Fe Estate over Christmas. Great views including gorgeous sunsets at tea time (and lovely sunrises as well!). Well stocked kitchen including enough dishware and wine glasses for Christmas dinner with 16 (we did need to bring an additional table for this, though if we were to spread people out between kitchen, dining, and outdoors it would have accommodated). The 2 dishwashers sure were helpful, and there was plenty of room for folks to congregate and all pitch in there. We played our favorite holiday tunes in the house's awesome sound system. The kitchen also included an instant pot and blender, I don't think anything was missing. Mark was an attentive, generous, and communicative host, made sure both coffee and tea drinkers were taken care of with lots of options, and really helped make our stay extra special. Thanks for everything Mark!
