We had an absolutely amazing time at thia property, it literally had everything we needed and was a stone's throw from the beach, the national park and the shops! We brought our fur baby with us and everywhere including the property was setup for dogs even the local cafes and beaches! Rob was a fantastic host and was there if we needed him but 100% gave us our privacy. We had a week that went from severe storms to an intense heatwave and could not have been in a better place! The peace and serenity of this location is just perfect, I could not recommend it more highly and we will definitely be back - thank you Rob!

Rob was a very communicative host and genuinely wants to help you have a good experience. The infrared sauna was also a really nice additional touch that we made good use of.Nice touch of Rob to have the relaxing healing music going when we first arrived. Towels and bedding were provided as promised.Unlucky for us that the weather was not good during our stay, so we did not get a chance to explore the National Park but got lucky one afternoon to make it down to Stanwell Park Beach, which was extremely lovely, unpretentious and only a 3-minute drive down the hill from the property.There's plenty of coffee / brunch options down at Stanwell Park nearby and good restaurant options at Helensburg and Thirroul / Bulli.Extremely underrated location, which even in the poor weather, we were able to really enjoy the local area.

Enjoyable stay

I highly recommend this property, it's a lovely getaway for a couple. There are many little touches added to the property to make your stay enjoyable.Lots of cafes and restaurants within a 10 minute drive.

Amazing property, loved the pizza oven!! All instructions were easy to follow and the bed in the Ocean View Studio is divine.Could not fault, we would definitely stay again.Highly recommend!

Our Host Rob was very friendly, helpful, and went out of his way to help make our stay perfect. The special facilities that Rob has provided (sauna, hot tub, pizza oven and ice bath)are amazing- loved them all especially the hot tub it was an extra wide large deep round bath tub with its own hot n cold water supply set up within a very private and secluded area out back of appartment. My arthritic spine and knee appreciated a hot bath in it each night we were there!!! I also really loved the shower inside, awesome water pressure and it had one of those large rain shower heads.The QS bed was very comfortable, plenty of pillows, towels, basic bathroom and ki

Lovely retreat

We had a last minute 1 night getaway for our anniversary and this property had everything to make our stay super special! We enjoyed the sauna and outdoor bath and we even made pizza in the wood fire pizza oven. Really beautiful location and view too. Thanks for having us

Beautifully accommodated

Great place! Well equipped with everything you need. Massive bluetooth speaker, sauna, outdoor bath, even portable lights and chargers easily found. Host was super friendly and helpful. Some cups, and tv remotes were sticky so needed a clean, but won’t stop from recommending this stay. Overall 5 stars.

The place is very comfortable and with different options to enjoy yourselves. Since it was cold our option was the sauna. To take advantage of the place and its location it would be better to stay longer but two days was good anyway. Since we are over 70 it was a bit challenging the little steps between rooms and going in and out to the garden.

Beautiful location, safe and cozy stay

I had a great experience here. Number one for me was safety, the whole property felt very secure and there were locks on all the internal doors too which I like. Robert introduced himself on the first day then used the app to contact me once which I appreciate as a solo female traveler.The location was very pretty, you get an ocean view from the garden and even the street is beautiful surrounded by trees. The drive down to the beach was lovely too, you get a real mountain/bush/beach combination. The bed was very comfortable, shower was great and the aircon kept the space nice and warm. The host obviously put effort into including everything you could need. Washing liquid, cleaning supplies, high quality linens and beautiful cutlery and crockery. I really appreciated the guest book that had info on local things to see and do. The TVs had every type of streaming service I could think of. The check in process was seamless but admittedly I struggled to find checkout info so I wasn’t sure if I did that right. In terms of cleanliness, I would probably give it a 4.5 out of 5, as there were somethings like the inside shelves of the fridge and the door inside the microwave that I cleaned before using but I’m very particular. The most important stuff for me was the bed linens and bathroom which were spotless. The photos and description on the listing were very accurate, heaps of parking and easy to get to. I stayed for 12 days and had no issues, I would definitely recommend.
The property is easy to get to and the path is nice and open.

Whilst the property comes with some cool bells and whistles and the location is lovely, it isnt worth the pricetag. Our main issue's with the stay was that even though it says it pet friendly, what is not stated is that the yard is not fully enclosed, the garden is extremely steep, uneven and messy. In the wet weather we were there for the yard becomes dangerous. There is also very poor lighting outdoors - including no light that we could find easily for the front of the property.It stated there was steps to get into the property but there are also multiple steps to get to different parts of the property and to get outside. This was an accesbility issue for us.The outdoor living space is great, except that the lounges/sofabeds are the most uncomfortable furniture i've ever sat on. Despite looking everywhere (and it suggesting in the guest guide) there were also no additional blankets. We were enticed by the pizza oven but the firewood was chopped in such large pieces that it would have taken half the day to burn (and we did get it going but it was so slow that it wasnt useable). We unfortunately had to leave a day early due to an emergency and I will say that when we messaged the host about something we accidently left in a rush and they did post this which I was very greateful for.

Hi Samantha, That was an extremely poor analysis of the property. Obviously you had to leave early and the value decreased as your stay decreased. It's sad when life interrupts by why blame us? Seriously. Also it poured rain your entire stay. Unfortunately I can't organise amazing weather for you. There was kindling (finly chopped firewood) for the fireplace in the giant grey storage box alongside the BBQ accessories and jiffy fire lighters in the kitchen draw. It's almost impossible to have issues with the fire place. The description of the uneven yard is also hard to comprehend. You make it sound like a goat track. 3 steps to the sauna is far from your description. Every one speaks of how beautiful and serene it is in that area. That's the first criticism I've heard. But from "absolutely beautiful' to your description is just a indicator of your state of mind not the property. There's a dual flood light for the outdoor area and it's super bright. So bright I had to angle the both LED's downward as the neighbours complained it was blinding them. The switch is at the entrance to the kitchen. This light also provides enough light for the sauna area and there is a portable light that's impossible to miss for the hot tub. It's also very bright with 4 dimmer settings. This is for romantic ambience. We are dog friendly and and the whole back room is lockable. We prefer not to have dogs stressed in the back yard as they tend to bark and fret if left alone. Why would you do that!
