The Garden Studio is a nature lovers retreat

I’m a Certified Forest Therapy Guide, leading mindful nature walks in the beautiful Royal National Park, Dharawal Country, and Gadigal Country, Sydney. As a guide, I help participants rediscover their connection with nature—a connection many of us yearn for but have lost in our busy, urban lives. For me, nature is a source of vitality, grounding, and fulfilment, and I believe it can bring profound benefits to our health and well-being. My mission is to offer others the chance to reconnect with the natural world, whether through an immersive experience lasting a few days or a peaceful walk for a few hours.

This location is an excellent base for accessing local activities such as, swimming kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing and all water sports (5-minute walk away). Other local activities include bush walks, cycling, mountain biking trails, and observing local birds and native wildlife.

Nearby beaches such as Maianbar spit (10-minute walk from Garden Studio), Bonnievale, Hordern’s, Jibbon, and Wattamolla offer many opportunities for swimming, and the local surf break is nearby at Cronulla (40 min drive).

There is a full supermarket, bottle store, local clubs, cafés and takeaways in nearby Bundeena (10 min drive, 40 min walk). Please be aware Uber Eats and other food delivery companies often do not provide service to Maianbar.

Surrounding attractions in the Royal National Park include the cliff top walks, Eagle Rock, Wedding Cake Rock, and Figure 8 rock pools, Audley Picnic Grounds, Guided Forest Therapy Walks, Whale Watching, Bird Watching, Aboriginal Rock Engravings and the local Art Trail

Other local attractions include, Symbion Wildlife Park, Ferry to Cronulla, Hang Gliding at Otford, Port Hacking River Cruises.
