The neighborhood exudes an urban vibe with a diverse and burgeoning community. Rich in history, many buildings date back to the early 1900s and have undergone extensive renovations, lending a mix of old-world charm and modern updates.
At the heart of the neighborhood lies Shelby Park, named after Kentucky's first governor, Isaac Shelby, situated directly behind the house. A picturesque cobblestone alley separates the park from the house's backyard. Shelby Park features amenities such as tennis courts, basketball courts, a playground, a splash park, and a half-mile-long running/walking track.

- You acknowledge that you may be required to undergo a background check if mandated by the property management company or the building, as stated in accordance with your rental agreement and condition of the booking.
Minimum age requirement of primary person booking should be:
1. 22 years old for out of town guests
2. 25 years old for local guests
No weapons or drugs allowed; zero tolerance means police will be called for violating this rule.
Noise policy: Guests must agree to not disturb neighbors at all times during the stay. In addition, guests must agree to observe quiet hours from 10pm-7am each day.
Long-term stays (30 days+): Long-term guests will be subject to a background search and credit check.
Note that all guests are required to submit a $200 security hold on a credit card in case of incidentals that is released 3-5 days post check out or may choose a $35 non-refundable damage waiver.
