Very cute house, fishing was great

We really enjoyed our stay - I did some art sitting in the sunroom and my husband fished on the private pier - it was perfect for us. The only downside was the bathroom is too small - I hope there are plans to enlarge it because it's the perfect place for us!

Had a wonderful time

Loved our stay at LPOP! Location to town was wonderful, fishing off the pier was the highlight of our trip. House was beautifully decorated and cozy. The master bedroom over looks the Potomac and the sunrises were incredible. Kitchen is amazing!! We can't wait to come back!

Wonderful Beach Cottage

We loved this cottage for our Colonial Beach stay. The location was great, and the house itself was wonderful. It felt clean and relaxed!

Cozy and quiet waterfront escapte

This is our 2nd time staying at LPOP. We stayed here for our anniversary week, and brought our two small dogs with us. As before, the house and location are great for us. We had a few small concerns, but nothing to take away a star, and we communicated these to the host who responded promptly and professionally. We will book again next year, and look forward to an even better stay.

Exceeded expectations

Private pier is a huge addition to a great vacation home for our family of 4 adults. Quiet peaceful neighborhood even in midsummer weekend. Breathtaking sunrises... We'll definitely come back

3rd Time Staying Lovvvve it!

We love this house. Beautiful kitchen, view of the Potomac River from the bedroom, backyard for our pup to play, scenic sunroom for morning coffee, hiking at Westmoreland park. Will definitely come back again!

Wonderful property

This is our second time staying here. The location is perfect looking out over the Potomac River and spending time relaxing out on the private dock. The home is clean, comfortable and well stocked. The updated kitchen is awesome.

9 year old's Birthday Weekend

We loved our stay at LHOP celebrating my son's 9th birthday on the water. He caught over 30 fish that weekend - small Red Drum, White Perch and Croaker. We spent a day at Fossil Beach collecting sea glass and sharks teeth. Wonderful meals at local restaurants. We will return!

Comfy cozy and quiet getaway

We stayed here for our anniversary weekend, and brought our two small dogs with us. The house was very clean and well-appointed, and the bed was probably the most comfortable we've had at a rental property. Location was great, and it might have been the mid-September timeframe, but the neighborhood and even the downtown area were very quiet and peaceful. It was nice to walk the dogs around without very many cars. We will definitely come back!

A salt water stay

A cute as a bug home fully appointed with a water view. A community that stops and says hello when you are walking with your 90 plus parents. Some offer a golf cart ride to which you smile dad guffaws A property manager who writes a notes about the grands… our trip was cut short- but we will return

BEAUTIFUL HOME!

We chose this property because we was allowed to bring our little dogs (Italian Greyhounds) and my husband's brother and wife met us there from Georgia. We had such a fabulous time and enjoyed the home so much. My sister-in-law and I fell in love with the kitchen and the screened in front porch! Even though we was on vacation and did not want to cook. lol! Everything about this property was perfect and worth every penny!

Perfect paradise

A wonderful house on the Potomac. Enjoyed the calming views and sounds of chirps from birds. Turns out there were 4 baby birds in a nest on the wreath at front door. What a surprising find! The house is well stocked and artfully decorated. It is walking distance to main streets of the town but worlds away. We will be back ! Thanks.

Beautiful, peaceful, fun little beach town

What an amazing home! On a quiet street. The second floor bedroom and balcony overlooking the River afford privacy and a Birds Eye view. Walking distance to the town. Pet friendly with fenced in backyard. Truly a chefs dream kitchen and with shady lane seafood 5 minutes up the road it couldn’t be more perfect! We will definitely be back! Plenty of room for two -3 couples or a family with two bedrooms and a daybed on the sun porch. Narrow and steep staircase to the second floor. Beautifully decorated and cozy. Feels like Colonial Beach paradise :-)

Waterfront cottage with Scenic Potomac River views and private pier

This is a perfect place to relax, watch the river, have a get together with friends utilizing the well appointed, large kitchen. The two upstairs bedrooms are very spacious and comfortable. If you are looking for an upscale bathroom, the full bath is small but it gets the job done. There is a half bath on the main floor. The fenced in back yard has a covered patio with gas grill and room for two cars and a golf cart but it is small. Wonderful sunroom with many windows looking out on river. 2 fire pits, dog friendly and very clean. Property Manager is very considerate and responds quickly. We would definitely rent it again.

Adorable Home in a Quiet Town

The house was everything we could've asked for, the view was perfect and having the private dock was a HUGE plus. Waking up from the master bedroom to the river sunrise was pure bliss. Everything was clean and our pup appreciated the furniture covers so he could snuggle with us. In terms of the house, the only thing missing was extra toilet paper, which we definitely would've brought with us had we known that there wouldn't be any, otherwise it was absolutely perfect. The town was super cute and small, luckily we arrived early on Sunday and had time to check out a few of the local spots, because little did we know almost EVERYTHING is closed during the week (including the coffee shops). We made do with what we had and even got out to Ingleside Winery which was so charming and the wine was delicious. All in all this trip was everything we needed!

Peaceful and comfortable

This rental is great for a peaceful get away. We were surprised how well stocked it was (I over packed). The home was very comfortable, and the neighborhood was great for walks. Our dog enjoyed the back yard and visiting the dog park in Colonial Beach. There are a number of dog friendly restaurants and wineries nearby. We would definitely stay here again.
