Bienvenue à Slaughter Beach! Ceci est un charmant chalet en bord de mer offre un accès facile à la plage. Complet avec trois chambres et une salle de bain, belle cuisine lumineuse et ouverte et un salon avec un espace salle à manger séparé. Cette maison dispose d'une télévision, WiFi, laveuse et sécheuse, et un parking hors rue. Les propriétaires ont des chaises de plage et un parasol à disposition. Peut accueillir jusqu'à 6 personnes et les animaux domestiques sont toujours les bienvenus!

Nous acceptons les réservations sur la base du "premier arrivé, premier servi". Ideal Property Solutions gère plusieurs propriétés de vacances dans tout le Delaware. Pendant les saisons occupées du printemps et de l'été, veuillez prévoir de 24 à 48 heures pour une réponse.

Ideal Property Solutions accepte les paiements via VRBO / HomeAway. Les dépôts sont dus avec votre contrat signé dans les 10 jours suivant votre réservation (la moitié du solde total dû). House is wonderful, management is not

Future potential renters: This house is AMAZING! The moment we walked into this small but perfect home, our breath was taken away. You step in the door and look straight back through the full windowed back wall to see the Delaware Bay! We've been coming to Slaughter Beach for years and all agreed this would be our rental from here on out. However we did not have a good experience with communicating with the property management company. The first day there we discovered the hot water heater wasn't working. It's one thing to have your breath taken away by a view. It's quite a different connotation when it's related to trying to take a shower and your "hot" water is room temperature at best. After two days of multiple texts and calls (most not responded to) we were told that they were having a hard time getting a plumber out to the house because it was a weekend. By this time we were leaving the next morning and had already been without showers for the majority of the stay. Despite being offered a partial refund we were very disappointed in not having hot water during our stay. Aren't the majority of the stays on weekends? What company wouldn't have a plumber on call for that? Property owner: feel free to contact me directly as I can elaborate - VRBO only allows 1500 characters for the review.

Nice place on the Delaware Bay

The location is perfect for a relaxing quiet beach getaway. Consistent with the information provided, the water in the bay is not pristine and the bottom is rocky and a little soft, so water shoes should be used. The interior of the home is well maintained and cozy, perfect for 2 couples plus a few more. The grounds were adequate for our purposes but the lawn was overgrown. The outdoor shower was an unexpected plus. Communication with the property manager was not good. VRBO messages regarding checkout went unanswered.

Top notch!!!!

We absolutely loved this experience!!!! House was well equipped with everything we needed. Cozy & quaint, peaceful & serene. Definitely would book again. Convenient to the other Delaware beaches for excursions and close enough to restaurants and shopping to not be an inconvenience. We loved that the beach was right there and pretty much all to ourselves. We even got to save a horseshoe crab!!! Take your bug spray!!! Even with the rain from Hurricane Debby our stay was perfect!!! Thank you for sharing your property!!!

Our family stayed for a long weekend at the Cottage by the Bay. The cottage was lovely and well-appointed, providing a quiet and beautiful respite by the bay.

Peaceful and beautiful

It was amazing to have a quiet place to come back to after returning from a busy day at the beach, water park, Rehoboth etc. We enjoyed the sunrises from the beach and the kids found plenty of treasures. We even had a dolphin sighting! Would love to return one day. Thanks!

July 4th

Great stay at Cottage on the Bay, house has amazing views of the wetlands behind it and the bay to the front. Very clean, all the electronics you would need to entertain yourself when not out on the beach. We have rented several houses on Slaughter Beach and this was by far the best stay for us. One thing I would bring next time are fans, especially for the back bedroom, as the air inside the bedrooms can be a little still. Not a big deal, really great house.

Brilliant time at a quiet beach!

Very cozy and lovely decorated house with all things yoj need to have a great relaxing vacation. We enjoyed this quiet area, the absolutly nice beach and the whole surounding. Yes, the gadflys are a pain but thats nature! Loved the walks on the beach and carry the many horseshoecrabs back to sea!

Absolutely perfect!

This home was so cute and cozy…perfect for the 4 of us (room for 2 more). The beach was just steps away and the lounge chairs made it relaxing to enjoy the view any time of day. We used the grill and had a wonderful day just staying around the house but also traveled to shops, the casino, Rehoboth boardwalk and many good restaurants in the surrounding towns. I wouldn’t change a thing and we hope to visit again!

Loved it!

I absolutely loved my stay! The sunrise views were amazing! A quick trip down the road to view sunsets! A quiet beach and warm water! What more could you ask for on vacation. Especially loved that I was able to bring my dog and she absolutely enjoyed the water. The steps to the beach were a bit wobbly, but I let the property manager know and she was quick to respond. The house was well cleaned and way more spacious than I anticipated. Just a note for future renters...The front yard had some mosquitoes, but with the marsh across the road that was not suprising and our first day we had biting flies at the beach. I knew about the possibility from other reviews, but always good to mention so others are prepared. I cannot wait to coming back! Thank you for a great pet-friendly rental! They are hard to come by.

Memorial Day weekend get away

We had a wonderful at this house in Slaughter Beach. The house was very clean and well stocked with the essentials to start your visit. Very cute house, plenty of space for the 4 of us. Quiet and peaceful location and views to die for. The beach is a little rocky, so bring sandals or water shoes for the beach. Would absolutely stay again.

We were a little disappointed that there were kayaks there and not available for use. When questioned after arriving I was told if we brought our own oars and life jackets we could use them. Not mentioned in the listing. Honestly I don't think the house was cleaned before we arrived, if it was it was not done very well. There was hair, human and dog, on the floors and in the bedding. Refrigerator and counters needed wiped. Location is great for beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The flies were bad but that was expected.

Perfect Vacation

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage on Slaughter Beach. The house was exactly as it was pictured - clean, well appointed, and with plenty of space for just the three of us. The views are absolutely amazing, and it was the perfect way to relax, simply watching the ships go by on the horizon. If there was a sea breeze from the bay, the small, quiet beach was perfect for getting some sun and relaxing. If the air was still and it became a little too humid (or buggy), we jumped in our car and visited the larger beach in Lewes just down the road. I’d also like to thank the associates at the property management company. We had one minor issue that was immediately resolved with a phone call (and they checked in to make sure that we were happy with the resolution). Our visit was nothing but two weeks of rest and relaxation, on the beautiful Delaware Bay. We’d love to come back and highly recommend.

Perfect peaceful paradise!!

The house is the cutest! Very clean and stocked with just about everything you need. The A/C worked wonderfully. The lounge chairs overlooking the bay were our favorite spot. We brought our dog and she loved the beach and the water and chasing the kids out on the kayaks! We may have seen 2 other families on the beach the entire week. It's very close to Cape Henlopen State Park - a beautiful park with great beaches that are way less crowded than Rehoboth. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you for a wonderful relaxing week!

Beautiful bay view

My family of five and two doggos stayed at this property and had a wonderful time. The listing was accurate to the location, home, and the reviews were spot on. We enjoyed a 190 degree view of the bay and 30 steps to the water. A big sell was that the property was pet-friendly. I am thankful for this beach cottage and the memories made on our 2022 beach getaway.

Best week of my life!

This was the best little cottage on the bay! Place was clean and exactly as described. Had a small issue with sulfur smelling water and that was rectified asap. The 3 bedrooms were small but the rest of the open floor area was spacious. Kitchen was well stocked with pots and knives (etc.) as we cooked every night inside or on the grill. This place was perfect for me to relax and do absolutely nothing but sit in the sun watching the ships pass and 5 people a day walk pass. The teens and young adults I sent to Rehoboth Beach or other places for their fun. They did kayak to the point a few times. The horse/greenhead flies were bad 2 days out of 7 but we sprayed bug spray and it helped. Cooper the dog did get the brunt of the bites. It was beautiful and quiet! No activities but walking on the beach collecting rocks or sea shells. I would definitely rent this place again.
