Bienvenue à Slaughter Beach! Ceci est un charmant chalet en bord de mer offre un accÚs facile à la plage. Complet avec trois chambres et une salle de bain, belle cuisine lumineuse et ouverte et un salon avec un espace salle à manger séparé. Cette maison dispose d'une télévision, WiFi, laveuse et sécheuse, et un parking hors rue. Les propriétaires ont des chaises de plage et un parasol à disposition. Peut accueillir jusqu'à 6 personnes et les animaux domestiques sont toujours les bienvenus!

Nous acceptons les réservations sur la base du "premier arrivé, premier servi". Ideal Property Solutions gÚre plusieurs propriétés de vacances dans tout le Delaware. Pendant les saisons occupées du printemps et de l'été, veuillez prévoir de 24 à 48 heures pour une réponse.

Ideal Property Solutions accepte les paiements via VRBO / HomeAway. Les dépÎts sont dus avec votre contrat signé dans les 10 jours suivant votre réservation (la moitié du solde total dû). Absolutely loved how close to the beach; literally steps off the back patio! House was clean and updated with all we needed (the many hooks for towels and clothes were great!). Our only suggestion would be some steps to better ascend and descend the dune area. We had a minor slip and fall using the current ramp setup even though we are all able bodied and in good physical condition. The current system would be rather difficult and potentially dangerous for young children or older adults. An outdoor grill and fire pit would have been a great addition as well. Overall, our stay was lovely and peaceful. The house was comfortable and just the right size for the 4 of us. We also enjoyed the park up the road about 1/2 mile with its tennis/pickleball court, basketball court, and cornhole game.

Great view, steps from beach

This is a wonderful place to visit if you enjoy peace and quiet and having the beach to yourself. We loved every minute of it!

Sweet little spot

My family and I enjoyed staying at this property for our summer vacation. The house is small but worked well for our family of 4. Appliances were in good working order and it was nicely stocked with household essentials.

Brilliant time at a quiet beach!

Very cozy and lovely decorated house with all things yoj need to have a great relaxing vacation. We enjoyed this quiet area, the absolutly nice beach and the whole surounding. Yes, the gadflys are a pain but thats nature! Loved the walks on the beach and carry the many horseshoecrabs back to sea!

As presented. Perfect. Our stay was cut short ( only 1 day instead of 3) by tropical storm Ophelia. We hope to go back another time.

Reasonably good beach house

House was quite small but nice, and the beach was great. The check-in process did not go smoothly and the property manager was not particularly engaged or responsive. She never sent an email with check-in instructions. I messaged her the day before check-in and the day of and called the day of and heard nothing. Finally had to call VRBO and spend 40 minutes on the phone before they finally got in touch with her to give me the check-in code. During the say she emailed me twice about a "rental contract" she told me I had to sign, but when I asked about a couple of issues (racoons in the garbage and what to do with garbage when I left in light of that being one) I heard nothing. House was not particularly clean upon move-in, but it was basically fine. But the house was well-put together and the beach was quite nice and uncrowded. Overall, glad we rented here.

Surprisingly it turned out to be a fantastic stay at Cottage by the bay at Slaughter Beach. We fell in love with the house on VRBO that we booked it without researching the area first. All we know was we weren't far from Rehoboth and Henalopen state park. Slaughter Beach is known for horseshoe crabs and the beach is a combo of sand, sea glass and washed stones. So if you are going walk the beach during low tide or go into the water wear watershoes/flip flops. We absolutely loved walking out the large sliding glass doors to your own private beach while hearing nature. You couldn't tell 15 miles down 1 you would be on the chaos of Lewes/Rehoboth/Dewey.

This was an amazing house for my family to stay at for the long weekend. It was so close to the beach which made everything so much easier. The inside of the house was very clean and new with plenty of kitchen stuff to use. My only two complaints would be that the bathroom door doesn't lock and there should be stairs installed to go down to the beach. That was a bit different for everyone of all ages.

Steps From the Beach

Check In was simple and Easy. It was even better in person. Kitchen had all we needed and more. We loved the openness of the house and being able to see the water right out the living room. Loved the little deck area to watch sunrise every morning. We enjoyed walking along the beach searching for unique rocks . It wasn’t far from stores if we needed anything. Perfect Stay for our first trip to DE.

House is wonderful, management is not

Future potential renters: This house is AMAZING! The moment we walked into this small but perfect home, our breath was taken away. You step in the door and look straight back through the full windowed back wall to see the Delaware Bay! We've been coming to Slaughter Beach for years and all agreed this would be our rental from here on out. However we did not have a good experience with communicating with the property management company. The first day there we discovered the hot water heater wasn't working. It's one thing to have your breath taken away by a view. It's quite a different connotation when it's related to trying to take a shower and your "hot" water is room temperature at best. After two days of multiple texts and calls (most not responded to) we were told that they were having a hard time getting a plumber out to the house because it was a weekend. By this time we were leaving the next morning and had already been without showers for the majority of the stay. Despite being offered a partial refund we were very disappointed in not having hot water during our stay. Aren't the majority of the stays on weekends? What company wouldn't have a plumber on call for that? Property owner: feel free to contact me directly as I can elaborate - VRBO only allows 1500 characters for the review.

Nice place on the Delaware Bay

The location is perfect for a relaxing quiet beach getaway. Consistent with the information provided, the water in the bay is not pristine and the bottom is rocky and a little soft, so water shoes should be used. The interior of the home is well maintained and cozy, perfect for 2 couples plus a few more. The grounds were adequate for our purposes but the lawn was overgrown. The outdoor shower was an unexpected plus. Communication with the property manager was not good. VRBO messages regarding checkout went unanswered.

Top notch!!!!

We absolutely loved this experience!!!! House was well equipped with everything we needed. Cozy & quaint, peaceful & serene. Definitely would book again. Convenient to the other Delaware beaches for excursions and close enough to restaurants and shopping to not be an inconvenience. We loved that the beach was right there and pretty much all to ourselves. We even got to save a horseshoe crab!!! Take your bug spray!!! Even with the rain from Hurricane Debby our stay was perfect!!! Thank you for sharing your property!!!

Peaceful and beautiful

It was amazing to have a quiet place to come back to after returning from a busy day at the beach, water park, Rehoboth etc. We enjoyed the sunrises from the beach and the kids found plenty of treasures. We even had a dolphin sighting! Would love to return one day. Thanks!

July 4th

Great stay at Cottage on the Bay, house has amazing views of the wetlands behind it and the bay to the front. Very clean, all the electronics you would need to entertain yourself when not out on the beach. We have rented several houses on Slaughter Beach and this was by far the best stay for us. One thing I would bring next time are fans, especially for the back bedroom, as the air inside the bedrooms can be a little still. Not a big deal, really great house.

Absolutely perfect!

This home was so cute and cozy
perfect for the 4 of us (room for 2 more). The beach was just steps away and the lounge chairs made it relaxing to enjoy the view any time of day. We used the grill and had a wonderful day just staying around the house but also traveled to shops, the casino, Rehoboth boardwalk and many good restaurants in the surrounding towns. I wouldn’t change a thing and we hope to visit again!

Loved it!

I absolutely loved my stay! The sunrise views were amazing! A quick trip down the road to view sunsets! A quiet beach and warm water! What more could you ask for on vacation. Especially loved that I was able to bring my dog and she absolutely enjoyed the water. The steps to the beach were a bit wobbly, but I let the property manager know and she was quick to respond. The house was well cleaned and way more spacious than I anticipated. Just a note for future renters...The front yard had some mosquitoes, but with the marsh across the road that was not suprising and our first day we had biting flies at the beach. I knew about the possibility from other reviews, but always good to mention so others are prepared. I cannot wait to coming back! Thank you for a great pet-friendly rental! They are hard to come by.

Memorial Day weekend get away

We had a wonderful at this house in Slaughter Beach. The house was very clean and well stocked with the essentials to start your visit. Very cute house, plenty of space for the 4 of us. Quiet and peaceful location and views to die for. The beach is a little rocky, so bring sandals or water shoes for the beach. Would absolutely stay again.

August stay

We were a little disappointed that there were kayaks there and not available for use. When questioned after arriving I was told if we brought our own oars and life jackets we could use them. Not mentioned in the listing. Honestly I don't think the house was cleaned before we arrived, if it was it was not done very well. There was hair, human and dog, on the floors and in the bedding. Refrigerator and counters needed wiped. Location is great for beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The flies were bad but that was expected.
