Le Cortijo Chaparro (Oak Tree Farmhouse) est situé dans un cadre tranquille entouré d'oliviers, d'amandiers et de chênes centenaires.

Il abrite vos hôtes Sally et Steve, qui ont déménagé au Cortijo en 2015 à l'issue d'un grand projet de rénovation.

La maison de vacances a été réformée à un niveau élevé en 2014/2015. Il offre une maison de vacances moderne, tout en conservant son charme rustique d'origine et en profitant des vues panoramiques à couper le souffle sur la vallée et les montagnes. Superbes couchers de soleil et observation des étoiles depuis les terrasses.

Le Cortijo dispose de deux chambres doubles avec salle de bains au premier étage
(Les chambres peuvent être changées en lits jumeaux sur demande.)
Une chambre double au rez-de-chaussée, avec une autre salle de bain.
La cuisine moderne entièrement équipée dispose de plaques électriques, d'un four micro-ondes et d'un réfrigérateur.
Le salon a la télévision, un lecteur DVD et une bibliothèque de prêt de livres, DVD et jeux. Une porte patio dans le salon s'ouvre sur un patio extérieur privé avec une vue imprenable sur la piscine et la vallée.
Double vitrage et chauffage central pour les mois les plus frais de l'année.
Grande piscine et bain à remous séparés.
Barbecue et four à pizza, espace Tiki Bar et table à feu à utiliser pour profiter au maximum de la vie à l'extérieur.
La propriété dispose de plusieurs zones assises ensoleillées et ombragées, y compris une terrasse de sable, une terrasse au bord de la piscine, une jolie cour et un plan d'eau avec des sièges pour profiter au maximum des vues du coucher du soleil.

Le Cortijo est à seulement 2 km du village local et à une courte distance en voiture de la ville d'Iznajar avec sa vue imprenable sur le lac et l'accès à une plage avec chaises longues et bars.

C'est un cadre parfait pour visiter toutes les villes incroyables et les sites touristiques de l'Andalousie,
ou vous pouvez simplement vous détendre et profiter du soleil et de la vie de la vraie Espagne.

Paysage superbe, calme assuré

Un petit coin de bonheur avec tranquillité assurée. Steve et Sally sont d'adorables hôtes, discrets mais toujours disponibles en cas de besoin ( ils habitent la maison voisine). Panier garni de bienvenue, bien utile en cas d'arrivée tardive. Vue imprenable sur les montagnes et les oliviers, avec une piscine 100% à la disposition des estivants, des couchers de soleil à vous couper le souffle. Nous y retournerons sans hésitation et vous la conseillons vivement.

Amazing get away

Sally and Steve provide a wonderful house with amazing views and great facilities. The hosts thoughtfully left supplies to ensure we had food for the first night, and provided lots of local information. Highly recommended for an escape.

Had a wonderful stay Sally and Steve made us very welcome and were very helpful with information of where to visit and eat . The villa was clean and had everything you could need inside and out with two BBQs gas and wood burning we used both as well as the pool and hot tub the views are amazing and the view of the stars at night is something else. I would certainly recommend it but you do need a car.

Steve and Sally were great hosts, happy to give you local advice and point you in the right direction if you wanted to do anything while also leaving you to relax as a family too. Kids loved the swimming pool and hot tub as well as the dvds on offer inside when they got a bit too hot. Breathtaking views over the mountain ranges from the pool when you walk out each morning. Couldn’t fault the place or the owners at all and will be going back as a family next year. Perfect for a peaceful, fun family break but plenty on offer if you are willing to drive also

Stunning property, facilities and views.!

We stayed here for a week with 3 of our children aged 8,14,15. We all had the best holiday in years. Pool, WiFi and honesty fridge was all the children could have needed and to be honest because they were happy we were happy! Sally and Steve were fantastic hosts and nothing was too much trouble. We wouldn’t hesitate to book here again.

La casa está muy bien en todos los sentidos, está muy limpia ,el tener un baño cada uno por habitación se agradece mucho, el salón, es muy chico por lo que no se puede hacer vida en el ,pero la zona de la piscina es espectacular, las vistas son preciosas, la piscina entera es de 120 cm , el jacuzzi esta muy bien igual que la zona de barbacoa ,todo muy bien cuidado y con muchos detalles, y la anfitriona es un encanto. Lo malo la carretera para subir es de muchas curvas cerradas pero está bien asfaltado, y los propietarios viven justo al lado ,que eso no lo dicen en la web, aunque en 3 días no notas ni que están, solo vienen para los cuidados de la piscina o para ofrecerte algo. En general me parece un casa que merece mucho la pena.

Tolles Haus, für alle die Ruhe und Entspannung suchen

Wir (2 Erwachsene, 3 Kinder) verbrachten 4 Tage in dem schönen, sehr ruhig gelegenen Ferienhaus von Steve und Sally, die gleich nebenan mit ihren 3 Hunden wohnen. Sally und Steve sind sehr nette Gastgeber und tun alles dafür, dass man sich sofort wohlfühlt. Bei der Ankunft war der Kühlschrank mit Schinken, Käse, Butter, Eiern (von den eigenen Hühnern), Brot, selbstgemachter Marmelade, Milch, Wasser und Wein gefüllt...so dass man zunächst versorgt ist, denn der nächste größere Supermarkt liegt weiter weg. Das Haus an sich ist gut ausgestattet, 3 Schlafzimmer, 3 Bäder, eine kleine, gut ausgestattete Küche und ein Wohnzimmer mit vielen Spielen, Büchern und DVDs...die wir nie nutzten, denn die meiste Zeit verbrachten wir im und am Pool, Whirlpool und den vielen Sitz- und Liegemöglichkeiten mit fantastischer Aussicht im Garten. Wer Ruhe sucht und die Natur liebt, ist hier Bestens aufgehoben...wir ärgern uns, nur 4 Nächte gebucht zu haben. Danke, Sally & Steve für die schönen Tage!

Beautiful

Beautiful views, totally peaceful and relaxing holiday. The house is modern and spotlessly clean. Owners have thought of everything, welcome pack of food and drinks and the honesty bar/ ice creams were much appreciated and so helpful. The fire pit with a constant supply of wood and cosy blankets were all great for stargazing in the evenings. Cannot fault the accommodation, it was fantastic. A great place if you want a quiet, relaxing stay in the sunshine.

The most amazing place with pool

We are a family of 4 with 2 children aged 13 and 9. We would rate the property 6 starts out of 5 - it was fabulous! The accommodation is perfect and we loved the open bbq and pizza oven. We spent most of our time outside where there was always a sunny or shady spot depending upon your preference. The views were breathtaking - we have never seen anything so amazing. The pool is a great size - approx 12 by 10 feet - and we all loved it. We did wonder if we would use the hot tub given the heat but we used it ever day - a real treat. If it got really hot we enjoyed playing all of the games left in the property and also watched a few of the DVDs. Our hosts Sally and Steve were brilliant - they provided a very generous welcome pack and gave us loads of top tips for places to go, routes etc. We loved their 2 dogs - the kids wanted to bring them home! Their place is next door but they were so considerate and we had complete privacy - although the kids liked to see the dogs so they would let them come and visit. You need a car to visit the surrounding places of interest but the benefit of the location is the total peace and spectacular views. We've had the most amazing holiday and want to go back! Thanks Sally and Steve - and Fergus and Meg!

Perfect family holiday in peaceful surroundings

We spent a fabulous week with our two young sons here. The house itself is presented beautifully, was spotlessly clean and contained everything we needed. It's location is amazing, nestled amongst the olive groves with stunning views over the surrounding countryside. The location is remote but there is plenty to see and do nearby, however, we loved the secludedness- no traffic noise, no light pollution, which makes for amazing stars at night, no crowds, just perfect peaceful family time! We had a wonderful time playing with the boys in the pool and digging in the sandy area. And also had some gorgeous evenings sat on the terrace watching the sunset with a bottle of wine once they were in bed! When we did manage to drag ourselves away from the house we found the local area to be full of charming, truly Spanish villages- not a tourist shop in sight and that's how we like it! This home wouldn't be what it is without the owners, Sally and Steve, who were really helpful from our first contact before we booked right through the holiday. They do everything they can to make your stay comfortable and your holiday perfect. All in all, a fabulous stay in a fabulous home in a fabulous location! We're already planning our next trip!

prachtig gelegen huis met mooi uitzicht

De woning ligt schitterend bij de Serra Súbetica, heeft een mooie buitenruimte met zwembad, diverse zitjes en een bar. Het uitzicht is erg mooi (heuvels en olijfbomen). Het huis heeft 3 slaapkamers en 3 badkamers, dus dat is prima. Omdat we niet erg mooi weer hebben gehad, moesten we helaas vanaf eind van de middag en avond veel binnen blijven. De huiskamer is erg klein en staat vrij vol met twee ouderwetse, zware stoelen en een bank. De eettafel was heel erg smal en stond tegen de muur, de bankjes hoorden hier niet echt bij (je zat eigenlijk te laag t.o.v. de tafel). De keuken was prima en voorzien van een oventje.

A beautiful hideaway with everything needed for a very enjoyable stay

What a lovely setting high in the hills amid endless olive trees. The views and sunsets as others have said were amazing. The Cortijo was very clean and comfortable with lovely big beds and very good size en-suites. The kitchen had all that was needed from a holiday home as the whole point is to take advantage of the BBQs and pizza oven all that outside space with areas for sun, shade, relaxing or taking advantage of the 'large' pool, a great experience. We were a family of 4 adults and found it was great to be together but also plenty of space to be apart! Our hosts Sally and Steve went out of their way to ensure we had the best possible time, they were always there if needed but otherwise very discreet. They recommended some great restaurants and places to visit and even gave us a lift to find the 'local' supermarket! Nothing was too much trouble, even Fergus their beautiful dog popped in (with encouragement from us) to make sure we were enjoying ourselves, otherwise you wouldn't know he was there he is so quiet and well behaved. The welcome pack was a great bonus and not just a couple of teabags and thimble of milk, but the initial essentials always needed at the start of a stay. That and the honesty bar (well and truly raided on more than one occasion) show how much they care about their visitors. We even managed to leave a couple of items of clothing behind (excuse is out 05.30 departure!) and Sally is sending on to us. We cannot recommend our hosts or their lovely property highly enough, we travel all round the world for business and pleasure and this will be one of our favourite 'hideaways' relaxing (amazingly quiet), views from all angles, we even had swallows diving for the pool and we are looking to return next year if all goes to plan. Also the weather was still in the high 20s so my daughter in law managed to get the tan she wanted. The evenings were starting to cool, but the fire pit and fleece blankets ensured it was still possible to enjoy the fresh air and arguments over which star was which! In all a really enjoyable stay. Thank you so much Sally, Steve and Fergus, I hope others have as good a time as we did.

Stunning scenery, peaceful and just perfect

We found the villa easy with the good directions from the owners Sally & Steve. Not knowing what to expect as it was a new villa. On arrival we weren't Disappointed! We were greeted by Sally who showed us around the villa, explaining things very clearly as we went along. Steve and Fergus their beautiful, well behaved dog, helped with getting our luggage to the villa. There was a fantastic welcoming pack and a well appreciated honesty bar. Which as we arrived on a Sunday and all shops were closed was well used! The two bedrooms upstairs were large and both had large on suits with power showers. Shampoo, body wash , hand soap and toilet rolls were supplied throughout the stay , which was another fantastic touch. There is another toilet and shower just off the kitchen down stairs. Although the kitchen is small but well compact with everything you need. All cleaning tools and liquids also supplied. The lounge is small but then again has all you would need. With the 3rd yet again large bedroom"Off the lounge . To be honest we didn't use the inside space as the outside had it all. From comfy sofa and chairs , loungers , tables and chairs, massive wood BBQ and pizza oven , gas BBQ , outside TIKI bar with fridge freezer, not forgetting the fabulous pool and views. The stars at night were just incredible, so was the sunset. The property was spotlessly clean .Sally and Steve have planted lots of shrubs and flowers, I know by next year it will look amazing.they have certainly gone out of there way to make Cortijo El Chaparro a great place to unwind and replenish the 'batteries'. We would definitely recommend this property to our family and friends and would like to return ourselves in the future. It's certainly a little gem we found and no one who books will be disappointed . Their knowledge of the area and restaurants were second to none. Thanks again for just being perfect host!

Amazing views, well presented excellent facilities

We were lucky to spend a few nights in the is lovely holiday rental. Everything was well presented and spotlessly clean. We were pleased by the attention to detail, such as toiletries, welcome basket and the availability of an honesty bar with drinks and ice creams which were very welcome due to the heat. We very much enjoyed the pool area, looking at the amazing views and the stars were something to be seen. Our hosts were very welcoming and we enjoyed spending time in their company. They recommended a couple of fantastic restaurants were we ate extremely well. Nearby Iznajar was a lovely village to visit too. We would thoroughly recommend this rural house to anyone who is hoping to escape the usual holiday experiences of crowded beaches and tourist shops and would rather see a little of the real Spain. We would definitely go back to visit the area and this holiday rental.

The owners Steve and Sally could not have been more welcoming. They had thoughtfully left us a welcome pack which was very much appreciated as it was a Sunday and all the shops were shut. We particularly appreciated the comfort of the outdoor sofas and chairs and fleece blankets and the warmth of the fire pit when enjoying the evening sun and the amazing sunsets. We had a truly relaxing time here, which was enhanced by the wonderful weather. Many thanks for the hospitality and thoughtful touches.
