Condo récemment rénové de 2 chambres / 2 salles de bain dans le carrousel!
Pendant les locations d'été du dimanche au dimanche (évitez les files d'attente pour l'enregistrement le samedi)

Chaque pièce de cette unité a été rénovée au cours des 3 dernières années.

Chambre principale: lit king size (matelas remplacé en 2019), télévision à écran plat avec câble xfinity, salle de bains en suite avec nouvelle cabine de douche (rénovée au printemps 2019). La salle de bain intérieure est la porte de la buanderie avec laveuse et sécheuse PLEINE TAILLE (dans l'unité, pas besoin d'aller ailleurs).

Deuxième chambre: lit queen, lit superposé double / pyramide.

Deuxième salle de bain: rénovée en 2018. Nouvelle baignoire, nouvel évier, nouveaux sols. TV avec câble Xfinity.

Nouvelle cuisine du chef: rénovée au printemps 2018. Comptoirs en granit, armoires à fermeture amortie, barre oblique inversée, tous les appareils en acier inoxydable, machine à glaçons au congélateur!
(Ce que vous construiriez si vous vouliez rénover votre propre maison!)

Salon: Canapé avec lit gigogne. Lit double qui peut être placé dans le salon ou au pied du lit dans la chambre principale.

Dans l'unité Wifi (le wifi fourni par le carrousel est TRÈS LENT en été mais cette unité a son propre modem 300 Mbps et son routeur wifi. De cette façon, vous ne partagez pas l'unité unique avec le reste du bâtiment (pas de retard ni de retard même pendant les semaines de pointe).

Le plus grand chauffe-eau autorisé par le code. De cette façon, la famille ENTIÈRE peut venir de la plage et prendre une douche, vs devoir attendre ou aller dîner sans rincer car l'unité normale de 25 gallons ne suffit que pour 2 ou 3 personnes avant de prendre une douche froide.

Nouvelle unité HVAC installée à l'automne 2017. Extrêmement FROID même pendant les jours les plus chauds de l'été.

Great Spot for Families!

We had a wonderful trip staying in this condo. It had just enough space for a family of four (two under 2). Our daughter loved the bunk bed and we were able to sleep in there too if needed. Great views and walking distance to everything you could need. Great having a washer and dryer for towels and bathing suits. Would definitely book again!

We had a great week. The unit was very comfortable and exactly as described. The owner has done a great job with the furnishings both inside and outside of the unit. The Carousel has lots to offer people of all ages. We are looking forward to next summer.

Best friends getaway

I can't say enough good things about the whole experience! Booking was very simple, check-in and check-out were a breeze, and the condo was lovely! Very well kept, very clean, and absolutely beautiful! Loved the nice quiet location, loved having an Oceanfront balcony with nice furniture, and a Bayside balcony with amazing furniture as well! Loved watching the dolphins every morning! Would absolutely recommend, and definitely hope to return!

Wonderful ocean view

Our family had such a wonderful time staying here - it immediately felt like home and is well maintained and cared for. The location is extremely convenient, being within walking distance to good restaurants, a Food Lion, and other amenities. The Carousel itself is perfect for families with kids with an ice rink, indoor and outdoor pools on-site, and arcade games. Paul is an excellent host and was always quick to answer a question. His place comes highly recommended, and we’d return in a heartbeat.

Amazing Condo, spectacular view!!

We had a wonderful week!! My first experience renting a condo through Vrbo, everything was just as the listing stated! It was actually nicer than I anticipated, so we were very pleased! Prior to our visit I had a few questions, within minutes of my message to the owner he responded, I was so impressed! I loved the deck….. beautiful view of the beach… so very relaxing! We would definitely recommend and would come back again!!

Best Spot in OC!

My grandmother & I bring my children to OC each winter and we LOVED this place. It was very clean and not cluttered at all. Check-in was super simple and everything was very accessible. The indoor pool and ice skating were great to keep the kids busy. The beds (especially the king) we're sooo comfortable! The kitchen is well equipped for what we needed for our stay. Beautiful view from the balcony. I can pretty much guarantee we will be back!

Well stocked kitchen with everything one would need. Condo was very nice, but some items needed replacement such as lamp shades and shower curtain liners. The living room could use a few comfortable chairs. The owner was available to answer any questions.

Summer Getaway 2024

This condo was perfect for our stay. Paul was very helpful and responsive to all of our needs. We loved the view from both of our balconies to catch the sunrise and sunsets each day. The building activities and facilities were great also if you wanted to participate in things. The bed in the master bedroom was so comfortable and that is not always the case in places you stay. The kitchen was fully loaded with everything we needed to prepare any meals and the Food Lion was directly across the street from the building to pick up whatever you needed. Parking and check-in were so easy and hassle free. Definitely HIGHLY RECOMMEND this beautiful condo! Thanks so much, Paul!

Great updated condo at a great price directly on ocean

Great updated condo. Kitchen upgrades, new flooring, very bright and open. Phenomenal ocean views. Directly oceanfront. Flexible sleeping arrangements. Comfortable beds. Two updated bathrooms. Washer and dryer. Sectional in living room is plush and roomy. Owner is very open and communicative. North OC. Convenient to restaurants and attractions but far enough away from the South OC party vibe. Great for families or groups that enjoy the proximity to the ocean but prefer it quiet at night.

This place was awesome! Ocean front - great balcony for relaxing while watching the waves! Inside was very well cleaned and newer appliances. I finally found a condo in ocmd where everything is newer and clean! The beds were very comfortable especially the king in the master bedroom. Condo had its own internet which was great because the hotel internet seemed very slow. Really enjoyed the laundry room off of the master bathroom; it really made it convenient and easy to do laundry. Plenty of dishes and cookware and even had some books and playing cards for the kids. Really nice and yet comfortable at the same time. I truly cannot say enough good things about condo 1709! I can’t wait until next year to stay there again!

Relaxing Vacation

My family had a wonderful stay in this condo. With my husband having to telework, being oceanfront was key. He could be on the beach with us and then run up to the room to have a meeting and come back down without missing much time with family. He could see us from the balcony to watch even when he couldn't be with us. The beds were super comfortable and there was plenty of room for us all to spread out. With three boys, the space, having two full bathrooms, and a very nice washer and dryer was key! The only recommendation I may have is to add a DVD player to the unit. It rained while we were there and with COVID and many indoor options being limited or closed, having a DVD player so you could rent from Redbox would have been helpful. With COVID we were a little nervous about all the people in this hotel/condo resort, but everyone was polite and wore their masks when in common areas and in the elevators. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the own was extremely responsive to all my email or questions prior to my arrival and while we were there. Great place to take your family!

The condo was so beautifully kept up and spacious. Having access to the community amenities like the pool and sauna was a fantastic bonus. The apartment itself was well stocked and provided so much space for eating, relaxing and having a game night.The views are amazing with access to two balconies ocean and bayside. I provided even more peaceful opportunities for seeing the sunrise and sunset!It is also convenient to grocery and liquor stores, as well as bagels & crab houses.Finally, the on site team and the host were very responsive to questions and needs. Highly recommended!

Nice Location, Beautiful View

My friends and I and their young children enjoyed our stay. The location is close to restaurants and the grocery store. The balcony view provides a beautiful view of the ocean. The resort is a bit dated but has a lot of entertainment options when the weather wasn’t great for being outside. Only negative was having to bring our own linens. I would suggest adding the option to pay for this service, if desired.

Had a wonderful stay. The condo was beautiful. The kids loves swimming in ocean and pools. I, at 83, loved sitting on balcony watching the ocean and everyone on the beach. Nice breezes and sunny everyday. Would come back in a heartbeat. Best vacation ever.

My trips to Ocean City Maryland started when I was so young I cannot remember how old I was when I started. I remember packing the whole family into my parents mini-van, following my grandfather in his wagon and stressing about leaving as early as possible because we needed to make sure we got 1 of the rare parking spaces that let you block in a second car so we had a parking space for both cars all week. I also know I was in college before I got a BED during the family beach trip each year, and that was only because I finally could rent my own place for the trip. My sister, my cousins and I were always on sleeping bags (each year there was at least 10 people in the 2 bedroom 2 bathroom condo). At the time we rented something that may have had 3 queen size beds between the 2 rooms and a pull out couch. We always traveled to ocean city as kids with my parents, grand parents and aunts/uncles. So when I finally saved enough to put down a down payment, we did that as a family as well. The family all takes turns each summer taking care of the upkeep and in the off season loves to come and stay/work from the property!

Year round I (Paul) manage the property and would be the primary point of contact for rental guests, but the whole family believes in karma and wants the guests to feel like they are guests in the family home, not just renters we want to get every penny out of. If a product or feature doesn't live up to our own standards for our home, why would we make our guests deal with it. If something breaks, we remember how much went into planning that one big vacation each year and we don't want a broken pipe or stove to cause someone else to miss out on a great vacation so we always try to resolve issues ASAP and often just replace with new vs trying to make someone wait for replacement parts.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We always loved ocean city as a family, and when I was little my parents always wanted a place in ocean city since we rented there EVERY SUMMER. I picked the carousel because it is top of the line as far as buildings in Ocean City condos go. With an ice rink, hotel and all the other great features, plus a full time condo office that helps the owners give guests that true onsite support experience! When looking for somewhere to stay in the off season, many of the other buildings are staffed with maybe 1 or 2 locals, the carousel is staffed full time year round. They have many conferences and often even have things like children's ice hockey tournaments! Just remember if you are coming to an event at the carousel, renting directly from an owner is FAR cheaper than the conference rate the hotel charges, and then you get a whole condo instead of small bedroom!

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

This is a home away from home, not a rental where every corner is cut to save a few bucks. If you want newer beds, nice kitchen pots/pans and all the features you would need to live somewhere, not just sleep and need to go out for every meal, you found the correct property! One other note is that with me you will have an owner who makes response to inquiries a priority, I try to answer most emails within an hour if during the day, and first thing the next day if over night. If you read our reviews you will see how much past guests have enjoyed great communication! We have repeat guests who come back and cook large meals like thanksgiving each year, and without complaint have always marveled at how stocked the kitchen is to cook meals you just would not think you could cook in a beach rental. We even have everything you need to steam crabs if you are really trying to take the DIY crabbing experience to the limit (but personally on vacation I prefer crab bag on 130th). We also remember all those times as a kid when I didnt get a bed, so the second bedroom is filled with a queen and full/twin pyramid bunk so everyone can get a bed (all the mattresses are also new, so you can get a good night sleep, not a lumpy hand me down rest other others brought down after they replaced the ones at their own home).

Finally, I also love that everyone can get a warm shower. I remember having to decide between going to dinner smelling like the beach or taking a cold shower after the first 2 people used all the hot water. With the unit we installed (the largest we could get) everyone gets a warm shower and there is still hot water to spare since it can keep up with the load!
