Condo récemment rénové de 2 chambres / 2 salles de bain dans le carrousel!
Pendant les locations d'été du dimanche au dimanche (évitez les files d'attente pour l'enregistrement le samedi)

Chaque pièce de cette unité a été rénovée au cours des 3 dernières années.

Chambre principale: lit king size (matelas remplacé en 2019), télévision à écran plat avec câble xfinity, salle de bains en suite avec nouvelle cabine de douche (rénovée au printemps 2019). La salle de bain intérieure est la porte de la buanderie avec laveuse et sécheuse PLEINE TAILLE (dans l'unité, pas besoin d'aller ailleurs).

Deuxième chambre: lit queen, lit superposé double / pyramide.

Deuxième salle de bain: rénovée en 2018. Nouvelle baignoire, nouvel évier, nouveaux sols. TV avec câble Xfinity.

Nouvelle cuisine du chef: rénovée au printemps 2018. Comptoirs en granit, armoires à fermeture amortie, barre oblique inversée, tous les appareils en acier inoxydable, machine à glaçons au congélateur!
(Ce que vous construiriez si vous vouliez rénover votre propre maison!)

Salon: Canapé avec lit gigogne. Lit double qui peut être placé dans le salon ou au pied du lit dans la chambre principale.

Dans l'unité Wifi (le wifi fourni par le carrousel est TRÈS LENT en été mais cette unité a son propre modem 300 Mbps et son routeur wifi. De cette façon, vous ne partagez pas l'unité unique avec le reste du bâtiment (pas de retard ni de retard même pendant les semaines de pointe).

Le plus grand chauffe-eau autorisé par le code. De cette façon, la famille ENTIÈRE peut venir de la plage et prendre une douche, vs devoir attendre ou aller dîner sans rincer car l'unité normale de 25 gallons ne suffit que pour 2 ou 3 personnes avant de prendre une douche froide.

Nouvelle unité HVAC installée à l'automne 2017. Extrêmement FROID même pendant les jours les plus chauds de l'été.

I do my best to reply to all my guests questions as fast as possible, when they come in while I'm awake I normally shoot for 60 minutes or less and if for some reason I cannot reply quickly like when I'm driving, I'll at least leave a quick note with when they can expect a detailed reply. When we bought the condo one of the things we wanted to do was solve all the issues we had when renting condos as a family when I was young. For example the second bedroom has all the extra sleeping space because I never got a bed when I was young and my family rented condos which had beds for at most 4 people total. We also put the huge hot water heater in the closet so that when everyone comes up from the beach just before dinner, everyone gets a hot shower, not just the first 2 people who shower! We hope you will consider coming back again this season!

We are very happy to hear you enjoyed your stay. Getting feedback like this from guests makes the effort to make sure I answer all guest questions as fast as possible worth it! I don't normally share this but my personal goal has always been to respond to questions within 60 minutes, in some cases that means sending a message that I am not somewhere that I can fully reply but at least letting my guests know I have the question and when they can expect a reply. But the majority are just answered right away because ai know how hard it is to wait for an answer so you can finish planning for the vacation you have saved and are excited about, so unless I'm driving or don't have the answer (like when someone wanted a linen rental option and the one I had used was closed post COVID) I am always targeting that 60 minutes max!

Greetings Nicole, I'm very happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay! As someone who works remotely in technology I know enough to know how little I know. But one thing that is clear is when bandwidth issues mean the difference between being able to work or not. The building's free wifi actually shares 1 router for the whole building and that means any one guest is getting a very small part of that whole pie. With my unit I booked 750 mb/sec service and made sure that my units router is only used for my unit. Each and every owner has the option to do exactly what I did but not everyone thinks it is worth $100/month when people can watch TV or use Netflix on the building wifi. But for me if it means the difference between having guests have a great stay even if they have to work and just having an ok stay with "ok wifi" from the building, I see that as a non-starter of a conversation. Quality wifi is a major requirement for most families, whether it is to Skype with the grandparents, post pictures of the crab dinner you are having at the beach or just streaming SpongeBob on the kids tablet so mom and dad can finally have 5 minutes of peace to share a glass of wine at the end of the day, and the last thing I would want my guests to have to deal with is an interuption to that glass of wine because..."MOM!!! SpongeBob keeps freezing up!" Once again thank you for your kind review and please feel free to contact me when you are ready to book your next vacation, we are open in the off season at greatly discounted rates for our returning guests from the summer and with that wifi it is possible and somewhat relaxing to visit the beach in the fall and winter even if working from "home away from home". The condo was so beautifully kept up and spacious. Having access to the community amenities like the pool and sauna was a fantastic bonus. The apartment itself was well stocked and provided so much space for eating, relaxing and having a game night.The views are amazing with access to two balconies ocean and bayside. I provided even more peaceful opportunities for seeing the sunrise and sunset!It is also convenient to grocery and liquor stores, as well as bagels & crab houses.Finally, the on site team and the host were very responsive to questions and needs. My family always stayed as a large group when I was a kid and we always cooked everything ourselves in the condo so when we got this unit we tried to stock the kitchen for everything we could ever want to cook up to and including crabs! Nice Location, Beautiful View

My friends and I and their young children enjoyed our stay. The location is close to restaurants and the grocery store. The balcony view provides a beautiful view of the ocean. The resort is a bit dated but has a lot of entertainment options when the weather wasn’t great for being outside. Only negative was having to bring our own linens. I would suggest adding the option to pay for this service, if desired.

My trips to Ocean City Maryland started when I was so young I cannot remember how old I was when I started. I remember packing the whole family into my parents mini-van, following my grandfather in his wagon and stressing about leaving as early as possible because we needed to make sure we got 1 of the rare parking spaces that let you block in a second car so we had a parking space for both cars all week. I also know I was in college before I got a BED during the family beach trip each year, and that was only because I finally could rent my own place for the trip. My sister, my cousins and I were always on sleeping bags (each year there was at least 10 people in the 2 bedroom 2 bathroom condo). At the time we rented something that may have had 3 queen size beds between the 2 rooms and a pull out couch. We always traveled to ocean city as kids with my parents, grand parents and aunts/uncles. So when I finally saved enough to put down a down payment, we did that as a family as well. The family all takes turns each summer taking care of the upkeep and in the off season loves to come and stay/work from the property!

Year round I (Paul) manage the property and would be the primary point of contact for rental guests, but the whole family believes in karma and wants the guests to feel like they are guests in the family home, not just renters we want to get every penny out of. If a product or feature doesn't live up to our own standards for our home, why would we make our guests deal with it. If something breaks, we remember how much went into planning that one big vacation each year and we don't want a broken pipe or stove to cause someone else to miss out on a great vacation so we always try to resolve issues ASAP and often just replace with new vs trying to make someone wait for replacement parts.

We always loved ocean city as a family, and when I was little my parents always wanted a place in ocean city since we rented there EVERY SUMMER. I picked the carousel because it is top of the line as far as buildings in Ocean City condos go. With an ice rink, hotel and all the other great features, plus a full time condo office that helps the owners give guests that true onsite support experience! When looking for somewhere to stay in the off season, many of the other buildings are staffed with maybe 1 or 2 locals, the carousel is staffed full time year round. They have many conferences and often even have things like children's ice hockey tournaments! Just remember if you are coming to an event at the carousel, renting directly from an owner is FAR cheaper than the conference rate the hotel charges, and then you get a whole condo instead of small bedroom!

This is a home away from home, not a rental where every corner is cut to save a few bucks. If you want newer beds, nice kitchen pots/pans and all the features you would need to live somewhere, not just sleep and need to go out for every meal, you found the correct property! One other note is that with me you will have an owner who makes response to inquiries a priority, I try to answer most emails within an hour if during the day, and first thing the next day if over night. If you read our reviews you will see how much past guests have enjoyed great communication! We have repeat guests who come back and cook large meals like thanksgiving each year, and without complaint have always marveled at how stocked the kitchen is to cook meals you just would not think you could cook in a beach rental. We even have everything you need to steam crabs if you are really trying to take the DIY crabbing experience to the limit (but personally on vacation I prefer crab bag on 130th). We also remember all those times as a kid when I didnt get a bed, so the second bedroom is filled with a queen and full/twin pyramid bunk so everyone can get a bed (all the mattresses are also new, so you can get a good night sleep, not a lumpy hand me down rest other others brought down after they replaced the ones at their own home).

Finally, I also love that everyone can get a warm shower. I remember having to decide between going to dinner smelling like the beach or taking a cold shower after the first 2 people used all the hot water. With the unit we installed (the largest we could get) everyone gets a warm shower and there is still hot water to spare since it can keep up with the load!
