Rocky Manor est une retraite privée saisonnière au bord du lac, située directement sur les rives du lac Great Sacandaga. L'emplacement primaire à 2 625 South Shore Road dispose d'une 2 acres privatif au bord du lac avec 365 pieds de plage de sable privée, une île privée, et superbes couchers de soleil, Ce logement locatif indiqué est duplex entièrement meublé et peut être loué comme une seule (5 couchages ) ou double (10 personnes). La cabine est au bord du lac directe, dispose d'une grande terrasse donnant sur le lac et se trouve à environ 75 pieds du bord de l'eau et de la ~ 400ft plage de sable fin. Autres hébergements peuvent être disponibles en fonction des dates et occupation par le propriétaire.

Nous sommes à quelques minutes de Northville et à environ 35 minutes du centre-ville de Lake George et de Saratoga Springs.

Not acceptable

We were forced to change our vacation plans - the cabin was run-down and stank. Countertop surfaces were sticky. We left immediately. Cabin was NOT what was advertised. I would not recommend this to anyone. This will be the last time I try to rent a property thru VRBO, having had consistently bad luck with them, particularly when I did not get a refund from the TRIP CANCELLATION INSURANCE POLICY which I paid for.

What a week!

We had an absolutely amazing time at Rocky Manor! The beach and Island are so much fun and the views are unbelievable!! I love that it was all on the same side of the road. A lot of places up here the houses are on one side of a very windy road and you have to cross it to get to the lake. So this is a huge bonus when you have kids! There is another cabin on the property and we got along great with the family that was staying there so it made the beach even more fun for the kids!! But just keep that in mind if you're looking to be alone.We rented both sides of the cabin and it was perfect for our family of eight to spread out. The cabin is a bit dated so it's a lot more like glamping (don't worry, there's Wi-Fi lol) but if that's your thing like it is ours then you will be fine. It is also well water so bring bottled water for drinking if you're not used to hard water. If you want modern amenities like a fancy stove and dishwasher, this is not the place for you. But in the end when you are enjoying this gorgeous property and the surrounding area, all you really need is a place to lay your head at the end of the day.The owners were great and super accommodating ! They even shipped us my son's brand new journal he accidentally left behind which was very appreciated.We would definitely stay here again!!!

Great!

Rocky Manor is a great place to stay! The beach is excellent and Bob keeps it clean and well maintained. The cabin was clean, plenty of hot water, cable, and a portable a/c unit. Bob is an outstanding host. He makes himself available, ensures everything is ok with the cabins, and goes above and beyond to help in any way he can. I can't say enough good things about him.

Great place for a family vacation

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful location! Walk right out the back door to a beautiful beach front! Perfect for a family with young children. Great place to just unplug and relax. Definitely going back!

Family vacation

Very rustic cabin, property beautiful, lake breathtaking, huge private beach. The water soo clear you could see the bottom and watch all the minnows tickle ur toes, we even had a duck hang out with us one day...all by himself, just floating around us. Had fun in the paddle boat that was provided to us, kayaks were available too. Bob and one of the guys that helps him out provided us with a portable air conditioner which took the edge off during the hot days then the cool air of the woods & lake made it refreshing @ night. One afternoon his helper drove in waved and asked how everything was going, did we need anything. Had a neighbor for a few days, Erin and her girls said they have been coming there for the last 8 years. Met the friendly bottle lady, who is friends with Bob Bob the minute I met you, u were so carefree shorts, no shirt, no shoes....you reminded us so much of our dad who we lost in 2013. It was like he was there with us, thanks for that, our dad would have loved it there Thanks again Bob, Jessica-who even called me to make sure everything was ok cause we left a day early, and the rest of the Kemper family, made lots of memories

Great Summer Family Vacation

If you are looking for excellent fishing, great swimming, and a place to really enjoy your family then this is the place for you!!!. It is a beautiful location and the sunsets are awesome. My entire family enjoyed it so much we will definitely be returning. The owners are so welcoming and friendly!!! By the end of our stay we were so relaxed and that is a true sign of an excellent vacation. Thank you Bob and Jessica and for everything. Sincerely the Fay Family

Great Lakeside cottage

The cottage is great. Perfect place to stay with our 4 legged friends. Owner and property manager were very nice and informative about nearby attractions and restaurants. The reservoir is fabulous and the history behind it is very cool. We stayed in the off season so some of the local restaurants were closed but the non-tourist season atmosphere was worth it!

NICE BEACH

Ad was not what we got. Supposed to be 4bdm, 2bath.Turned out to be double wide trailer. Split in half. 2bdrm, 1bath. Soft spots in flooring. Nice beach, row boat, kyack and paddle boat. Owner said it was a mistake. 3 people stayed in trailer and two stayed in a half finished cabin 3/4mi. away, owned by the friend of the trailer owner. Call and check with renter of property before going. Not happy about living quarters. Rest was OK.

It was incredible!

Bob was absolutely incredible to us and everyone that was there treated us like one of their own. I would never go anywhere else but here. Clean and comfortable which is absolutely important. The beach was well kept and the out house made drinking some beers easy instead of having to run back and forth to the cabin! 10/10 will be going back every year

Great summer get away property!!!!

Awesome property. Bob, the owner, was the best!!!!! Went way beyond owner responsibilities. The property was perfect for our girls getaway and plenty of sleeping space!!!! Pics don't do it justice. Beach was beyond amazing. Def would go back!! Thank u for having us!!!!

Amazing

Great times yet again here. Came last year and had to come back. Such a gorgeous spot on the lake and super relaxing. Such a nice property and the owner, Bob is more than friendly and does whatever he can to make you feel confortable. Def going back next year yet again, hopefully sooner!!

Amazing lakefront beach, perfect for families

My family rented both sides of the duplex cabin (called Placid I / II on owners' website) for a week-long family reunion. We had 6 adults and 6 kids staying on-site, with other family dropping by for some day-time visits. The location was perfect for a large group. We spent the majority of our time on the beach, with the kids going back and forth between the sand and the roped-off water that was a safe depth, while the adults were able to supervise from several picnic tables or take turns going out in the two kayaks that were available for use by the renters. There is also a nice fire pit where we cooked several rustic dinners (corn and hot dogs on sticks) and s'mores. There is a charcoal grill on site, but we used our own portable gas grill for other meals. The appliances in the kitchens were very old, but usable. We didn't try the ovens, but used the stoves and the available pans for eggs, pasta, etc. The buildings are definitely more like cabins than condos. As the owner advises, you must bring your own towels and sheets. We also brought our own pillows and blankets, which I would recommend. There is new vinyl flooring throughout, which made it easy to keep up with sweeping all the sand the kids inevitably tracked in (cleaning supplies were provided). We never tried the cable tv. The Internet was reliable in the 2-BR but cut out frequently in the 3BR side, which we assumed must be farther from the Wifi router. AT&T cell phones had zero signal, Verizon phones could text but often dropped calls. It was about a 45-minute drive to local points of interest (Saratoga Springs, Lake George, state park with hiking trails). Overall I would recommend this rental to anyone who values outdoor space over fancy indoor ammenities. If my family returns to vacation in this area, we would look into renting this property again.

Rocky Manor was great....everyone had a blast!!!

Outstanding value for the dollar!

FANTASTIC location!! Amazing view, sandy lake shore, mountain views... Awesome. Basic cabins but had all the necessities. Could have been more 'deep cleaning' done, but overall good value for the money. Great responsiveness from Jeramy.

Very nice

I almost didn't want to do this review because I like to keep places like this secret so they will be available to me! ha but I loved this place. The owners are very nice. Although we didn't have the best weather we made the most of it. The cabin is rustic and very clean and well kept- With a true Adirondack feel. I hope they never try to make it "current" and ruin the natural beauty and peace of this place. well taken care of . The beach is very pretty and the owners even helped us get our boat in the water. We want to go back as most of the places out there don't keep true to the Adirondack cabin feel. This I do believe will be one of our many revisiting spots and excursions.

Relaxing!!

My family and I have been going to this lake for 4 years now. We sometimes go up a couple of times in the year and always stay at this place. The family that owns the property are always accommodating, and friendly. I would recommend this to a family or families that are looking for a relaxing, fun, get away.

Born and raised in the Adirondacks, I've lived on the lake my entire life. I spent my childhood on this property and grew up on the lake enjoying it for all it offers. The summer in the Adirondacks can't be beat. However, In the fall I trek the adirondacks enjoying the peace and quiet and in the winter take advantage of the snow for some snowboarding, ice fishing and snowmobiling. This place is my home and always will be!

This property was purchased by my grandfather before the lake was flooded, it's been in the family since then, and passed down to my parents. It's a family run business and will continue to be while I'm around! We operate the business to cover our expenses only and keep this wonderful property to pass down.
